Looking for additional municipalities interested in having Efficiency Maine brochures inserted in with property tax bills.Helps get the word out to residents about rebates and loan offers to help them save energy and money.
Tax Bill Insert Campaign
• Over 200,000 inserts in 2015• 108 participating municipalities so far• EM pays for printing, insertion cost, and any
incremental postage.

LI HESPLow Income Home Energy Savings Program
• Low Income HESP now statewide with new measures/co-pay.• Owner occupied• LIHEAP Participants, Mobile Homes, or value < $ 80,000.
• Available everywhere in Maine.• $100 co-pay/ $500 discount on 6 hr air sealing and assessment.• $100 co-pay/ $500 discount on additional insulation measures.• $500 min co-pay / $1,000 discount per insulation zone upgrade• $5,000 cap per 1 to 2 unit residential dwelling.

– Primary and secondary measures.– Must accompany assessment and 6 hours of air sealing.– Owner occupied.
• $600 minimum project cost invoiced.• Primary measures (at least one)
– ½” spray foam of all box sills in basement/crawlspace.– Repair/sealing/insulating bulkhead door or attic hatch– Insulation & sealing of mobile home underbelly.– Sealing and insulation of forced air metal ductwork.– Additional 6+ hours of air sealing
