OUR SYLLABUS:
Entry requirements:
• You’ll need one of the following:
• You must be at least 16 years of age
• Have a good grasp of English
• A basic grasp of Mathematics
Exams:
• 13 Objective Tests –these can be taken on demand
• 3 Case studies –4 times a year Feb, May, Aug, Nov
• Individual certificates issued after passing the first 3 levels.
Final designations:
• CGMA/ACMA Designation achieved completing the
qualification and the practical experience requirements.
• We provide a variety of free

of the Cert BA and
Professional level exams,
which alongside a course of
tuition can help you prepare
successfully.

use your knowledge of the

your exams and how to prepare for exam day.
• Study and exam guides: the study planner has self-study sessions for all objective tests, as well as
articles and resources for the case study exams. Use the self-study guides for the exam(s) you are

• Webinars and helpful free tutorials: we run a variety of webinars throughout the year in conjunction with
our study partners. This enables you to garner expert advice from the people who teach the syllabus as
well as students who have completed it.
• We have a students Facebook group. This is overseen by CIMA staff and is a great place to network
with other students, giving you the chance to exchange ideas and learn hints/tips and benefit from

Choosing the right study method..
There are 3 different study methods to choose from:
Tuition providers who are members of the CIMA
Registered Tuition Provider Scheme work with CIMA
to offer tuition for the CIMA qualifications and to help
you succeed in your exams. Following a path of
formal study, ideally with a Registered Provider, gives
you the best chance of progressing your CIMA
