Next, the teacher helps me and she says, ‘Get away from him’. I feel

An Unforgettable Experience

Yesterday the Chan family wanted to have a picnic. They went to a

supermarket. At the supermarket, they bought some food and drinks. It all looked

delicious.

They bought a loaf of bread, a bunch of bananas, a can of sausages, three

cartons of blackcurrant juice and two packets of potato chips. They went to the

cashier to pay the bill. They needed to pay two hundred dollars sixty cents.

Then, they went to the Ma On Shan Country Park by bus. When they

arrived, they suddenly felt scared because they left the food and drinks on the

bus. They felt hungry and disappointed. At last, they went home by bus.

When they arrived home, they all felt hungry and unhappy so they had a

big meal before going to sleep.

A Horrible Night

Yesterday afternoon, my parents left home to go somewhere. Mum said,

‘Please take care of your younger sister.’ I said, ‘I will take care of her well.’

Then, I did puzzles with my sister and read a story to her. Kelly said, ‘I am thirsty.

Can you give me some drinks?’ I gave her a cup of water and some snacks but

she dropped them on the floor. I said, ‘Hey! Please sit down and eat your food.’

I swept the floor after I said that. She went into the bedroom ‘Get away from

me!’ she said angrily. Suddenly, I saw a ghost flying in the bedroom. I went into

the bedroom with curiosity. I screamed loudly because I thought I saw a ghost.

Then, my parents came back and said, ‘Why don’t you be helpful? Why is the

floor dirty?’ They were very angry.

At that night, I had a nightmare. I thought it was a horrible night!

A Horrible Night

Yesterday afternoon, my parents left home to Mainland China for two

days. Mum said, ‘Please look after your younger sister.’ I promised to take care

of Kelly well.

After my parents left home, I tried to find some interesting things to do

with my sister. We planted games and read her favourite storybooks. My sister

finally felt tired and went to her room to take a nap. I started to clean up the mess

and tidy up the living room.

Suddenly, I heard a scream in my sister’s room. “Get away from me!”

said my sister. I rushed to her bedroom and saw her in a panic. It was a mouse

hiding under her bed. I quickly used a sweeper and banged on the mouse. Luckily

I was able to catch it and I decided to let it free in the park.

A Diary

Tuesday 10th October, 2017 Sunny

This was my worst day ever! Today, I was on duty. As I was ready to

wash my hands, Miss Lee came to my classroom and said, ‘There is rubbish!

You should throw it into the rubbish bin!’

Then, I saw the rubbish under Mira’s chair! ‘Mira! Why did you throw

the rubbish onto the floor? It’s so dirty, you know?’ I shouted at her angrily.

However, she said that she didn’t do that. Then, we started to quarrel and we

were mean to each other.

One of the classmates saw what we did all, and told Mr. Kiu. Mr Kiu

found us and asked us why we had quarrelled with each other. Mr Kiu said that

Mira and I were also wrong. I should not lose temper so easily and Mira should

be honest.

In the end, we were all punished but we had learnt a lesson.

A Diary

Tuesday 10th October, 2017 Sunny

Yesterday afternoon, I quarrelled with my best friend, Susan. We were

playing badminton together in the playground. At first we enjoyed playing it. I

won that game many times. However, Susan was in a bad mood as she lost the

game. At the beginning, I was patient but I got angry gradually. I said to her,

‘Today your behaviour is not good. It’s wrong that you’re angry because you lost

the game.’ She didn’t feel her behaviour was wrong and started giggling at me.

I got angrier so I shouted at her.

I felt shameful for quarrelling with my best friend but I didn’t have the

courage to apologize. Mum said that it was my fault. I should talk to her. I will

do that tomorrow.

I hope we won’t quarrel with each other forever.

A Horrible Night

Yesterday afternoon, my parents had a trip to Cheung Chau and they said

they will stay there for a night. They asked me to look after my younger sister,

Kelly. I promised them.

After we had lunch, we did puzzles. However, the puzzles were

complicated so we spent a lot of time to complete it. We finished it in the

evening. We had dinner quickly. Then I told her a story ‘Three Little Pigs’. She

felt sleepy so she went back to her bedroom.

I swept the floor in the living room. Suddenly, I heard my sister shout

loudly, ‘Get away from me!’ In Kelly’s bedroom, she saw a big cockroach. The

cockroach flew towards her. She felt frightened.

I went into her bedroom and looked for the cockroach. Then, I used my

broom to kill it. In the end, it was dead.

A Horrible Night

Yesterday afternoon, my parents asked me to look after my younger sister

because they needed to pick up my grandparents.

First, I did a cat puzzle with my younger sister. We felt excited. Then, I

read her a story, ‘Goldilocks’. It was interesting.

After a while, she felt sleepy so she went back to her bedroom to sleep.

When she was sleeping, I swept the floor. Suddenly, she shouted loudly, ‘Get

away from me!’

After that, I saw a lot of cockroaches come out of her room. I used some

insecticide to kill them.

Finally, I killed all the cockroaches. We felt happy.

A Bad Day

11th April (Sunday) Cloudy

I had a bad experience last night! I had piano practise in the music centre

because I needed to do a piano exam soon. At seven o’ clock, I left the music

centre. I walked on the street. There were very few people on the street so I

walked quickly. I walked quickly so that I could get back home as soon as

possible.

When I arrived home, I rang the doorbell. I rang many times but there

was nobody to open the door. I felt tired because my bag was heavy. I thought

there wasn’t anyone at home.

Suddenly, I remembered I had a key so I searched for the key. I tried my

best to find my key but I couldn’t find it.

Luckily, Mum and Dad went back home. They said, ‘Why do you stay

here? Grandpa is at home.’ Then, we got into our home. Actually grandpa was

sleeping when I rang the doorbell. I shouted, ‘Oh no!’

A Bad Day

11th April (Sunday) Cloudy

I had a bad experience last night! Since I will have a piano examination

next week, I practised the piano at the music centre until seven o’clock at night.

When I went home, there were very few people on the street and it was very dark.

When I got home, I rang the doorbell but nobody answered. I heard

someone was inside the flat so I rang the doorbell again but still no one

responded. I searched my backpack for my key but I couldn’t find it. I tried to

call my mum and dad. Neither mum nor dad responded. I went down the stairs

and then I found my key! It was under the staircase. When I went into the flat,

there was a burglar!

In the end, he jumped out of the windows and escaped. I called the police

and they told me to calm down. They found the burglar and arrested him. It was

the worst night ever!

A Bad Day

11th April (Sunday) Cloudy

I had a bad experience last night! My piano exam is coming so I was

practising the piano in a studio. I finished practise at seven o’clock. I worked

really hard so I was tired. When I went back home, the road was dark and quiet.

I pressed the doorbell when I arrived home. At that time, I heard some

sound from the TV and I thought that Mum was at home but nobody opened the

door. I thought that Mum didn’t hear the doorbell so I looked for my keys to

open the door but I lost my keys. I was frightened since I couldn’t get inside my

home and waited for Mum to open the door.

Fortunately, Mum came back home later and opened the door. I asked,

‘Did you turn off the TV when you left home?’ Mum said, ‘Of course! But why

is the TV still on? Let’s check the CCTV.’

We found that a burglar broke into my house. The burglar stole some

cash. He watched TV too but he forget to turn off the TV while he was escaping.

Fortunately, the burglar stole only a small amount of cash and most

importantly we were safe.

A Bad Day

11th April (Sunday) Cloudy

I had a bad experience last night! Yesterday evening, I packed up my

things and I was ready to go back home. When I was walking on the dark streets,

I heard something fall on the ground but I did not care about it.

When I got back home, I rang the doorbell again and again. Still no one

wanted to get the key from my school bag but I found nothing. I thought, ‘Oh

my goodness. I cannot find my key! ’ I went back to the piano school but I

couldn’t find my key. I went back home sadly, I knew I would be punished by

my father and mother. Suddenly, I tripped on something. I fell down on the

ground and shouted, ‘Ouch! That hurt! I am very unlucky today!’ And I turned

my head then I saw my key and said, ‘Oh! It is here, yes!’

At last, I went back home. My mother asked me, ‘Why are you so late?’

I smiled and said, ‘Nothing happened.’

My Dream Job

I like doing different kinds of sports and participating in sports

competitions. So, I want to be a Physical Education teacher in a primary school.

As a PE teacher, I have to teach the students to play different sports and

have fun in the PE lessons. I also need to encourage potential students to join

competitions and help them achieve good results for the school.

In order to be a PE teacher, I need to be well-educated and physically fit

because a PE teacher must be good at sports. I also need to be patient with the

students in the PE lessons.

I hope I can be a PE teacher when I grow up. I need to study very hard at

school and have a good habit of doing physical exercise every day. I also hope

that my students will have outstanding achievements in sports in Hong Kong.

My Dream Job

When I grow up, I want to be a fashion designer. I need to learn about

trends and sketch the initial clothing or accessory design.

I want to be a fashion designer because I love drawing. I like designing

clothes too. I want to design a lot of beautiful clothes when I grow up!

If I become a fashion designer, I will design something eye-catching and

some interesting clothes. I will take the rough sketch or modal and develop a

more specific working pattern too.

Fashion designers need to be creative so that they can have more ideas

for their designs. They also need to be hard-working so that they can complete

the work before the fashion shows.

I am going to study really hard so that my dream can be achieved. I have

to read more fashion magazines. I even have to get good grades in exams so that

I can go to university and study fashion design.

I hope I can be the best fashion designer in the world. Maybe you will

find my name in a fashion magazine easily in the future.
