Why Do I Need to Find a User’s Email Address?
• To Login As User you must have the User Name• To Reset User’s Password you must have the
User Name• To Disable User you must have the User Name• To Change User Name you must have the
User Name (do you see the pattern here?)• To find a User Name you must have the email
address of the user

How Do I Find a User’s Email Address?
• Select “Admin Search ” under User Functions/ Controls
• Select “Businesses” from pull down box• Type business name in “Business Name” field
– Typing whole name decreases chance of finding user
• Select “Search” button• User email address is on left side of screen• Copy, if needed, for next step

How Do I Find a User Name?
• Select “Admin Search ” under User Functions/ Controls
• Select “Users” from pull down box• Type or paste user email in “User Email” field• Select “Search” button• User name will be above User Type
(i.e. business/individual) in middle of screen• The MF screen shows whether the User account
is Enabled (active) or Disabled (inactive).• Copy, if needed, for next step

How Do I Login As User?
Select “Login As User” in “User Functions/ Controls” section of Admin Dashboard
• Type or paste User Name in “User Name:” field
• Select “Submit” button– If “Register this user?” question appears then
registration was not completed by User. Select “Yes” to complete registration.

How Do I See/Change a User Profile?
• First, you must Login as User• Select “Update Profile” from the “My Tasks”
section of User Dashboard• You may change any information in a user
profile except the User Name• Business Description is mini-ad for business• Matches are based on Keywords and NAICS
codes

Keywords?
• Business keywords are matched to the Solicitation title, NAICS verbiage or Classification Code verbiage
• Keywords are:– Only seen by User– Only used for matching or searching– Should be separated by commas

Keywords?
• Keywords need to be specific for the business• Ineffective keywords include: North Carolina,
Small Business, 8(a), and, commercial, industrial, military, transportation, window, copy, print, design, maintenance, hardware, marketing
• Effective keywords include: general contractor, HVAC, photography, interior design, architectural design, grounds maintenance, telemarketing

NAICS Codes?
• Most businesses need more than one NAICS code to fully describe their products or services
• NAICS codes must be separated by commas (spaces also help)
• MatchForce accepts approx. 30 NAICS and CCR is unlimited.
• Great website to find NAICS codes:– http://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/

How Do I Update/Narrow Matching Criteria?
• Only for Businesses • Select “Update Matching Criteria” from the
“My Tasks” section of business user dashboard
• Three options to choose– No Matching– Default (Keywords and NAICS to all states)– Update/Narrow Matching

How Do I Update/Narrow Matching Criteria?
• Update/Narrow Matching– Yes/No options for “Match Business
Opportunities to my Keywords”– Yes/No options for “Match Business
Opportunities to my NAICS Code”– Yes/No options for “Narrow my Business
Opportunity matching to one or more states”• If “Yes” use [Ctrl] key to select more states
(up to five states)

How Do I Reset a User Password?
Select “Reset User’s Password” in “User Functions /Controls” section of Admin Dashboard
• Type or paste User Name in “User Name:” field• Type new password in “New Password:” field
– Passwords, as well as User Names, are cAsE-sEnSiTiVe
• Select “Change Password” button• You should immediately sign out of your Admin
account and test the User’s account login info for typing errors.

Why Do I Disable a User?
• If a User requests to be removed from MatchForce, you may disable the account.
• We may use the term, delete, when talking about MatchForce accounts, but we really mean ‘disable’!
• Tell the User that you are deleting his account; however, you are really disabling the account.
• NEVER DELETE ACCOUNTS!

How Do I Disable a User?
Select “Disable User” in “User Functions/Controls” section of Admin Dashboard
• Type or paste User Name in “User Name:” field
• Select “Submit” button

• Select “Change Username” in “User Functions/ Controls” section of Admin Dashboard
• Type or paste User Name in “Current User Name:” field
• Type new User Name in “New User Name:” field
• Select “Submit” button

How Do I Activate a Disabled User?
• Select “Activate User” in “User Functions /Controls” section of Admin Dashboard
• Disabled Users are listed alphabetically by User Name
• Click “Set Active” box by User Name• Select “Set Active” button at bottom of
screen
