Educational ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be able to• Apply knowledge gained to prepare for the hematology and

EvaluationA course evaluation form will provide participants with the opportunity to review each session and speaker, to identify future educational needs, and to comment on any perceived commercial bias in the presentations.

A Comprehensive Board Review in Hematology and Medical Oncology

September 8–13, 2014

GoalThe course is a 6-day comprehensive review of current standards and practices in the management of patients with blood disorders and malignancy. The course is designed with breadth and depth sufficient to enable the participant to effectively prepare for the American Board of Internal Medicine certification and recertification examinations in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Advances in clinical pharmacology, molecular genetics and risk assessment, and radiation oncology will be included.

Registration Information• On-site registration opens at 7:00 am on Monday, September 8, 2014

at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Robert C. Hickey Auditorium, 1515 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, Texas.

• The Oncology Session of the conference will begin at 8:00 am on Monday, September 8 and adjourn at 1:15 pm on Friday, September 12.

• The Hematology Session of the conference will begin at 8:00 am on Thursday, September 11 and adjourn at 4:45 pm on Saturday, September 13.

• Advanced registration is encouraged as space and materials are limited. Please see the registration form for applicable fees.

The conference registration fee includes the tuition, final program syllabus, CD, A/V USB flash drive recording of conference proceedings, breakfasts, lunches and breaks.(NOTE: Your A/V USB flash drive with audio & video will be mailed to the address you provided on the registration form approximately 2 weeks following the conference.)

Physician Assistants/Nurses/Advanced Practice NursesA reduced registration fee has been established for physician assistants, nurses and advanced practice nurses. All claiming this reduced fee are required to submit a letter of introduction from the chairperson of their department with their registration form.

Refund/Cancellation Policy The registration fee, minus a $50 administrative handling fee, is refundable if a written request is received on or before Monday, August 25, 2014. No refunds will be granted after that date. The request for a registration refund must include the tax identification number of the company or institution if registration was paid by a company or institution check.
