A decade of discipleship
What can I do? Can I make a difference? Why am I here? 2021 launches a decade that answers these questions – a journey that needs unwavering focus with eternity motivating us, discipleship defining us and togetherness identifying us.
THIS YEAROur Global Gathering is a convergence of two high points – our Connect Conference and our annual Miracle Offering. Over the weekend, from Friday, 30 July to Sunday, 1 August, our church is going to GATHER in homes, globally, and GIVE sacrificially as a family.
Let’s do this together. There’s power in together. Following Him is an adventure when we do it together. Giving sacrificially is world-impacting when we do it together. Even if you are by yourself, you are not alone. Even though we can’t all gather, we can do this, together. Every family, every couple, every person, has the opportunity to do good by intentionally sacrificing this year. Together, we will bring the reality of God to our world at unprecedented levels.

On 9 April 2006, a handful gathered, but a movement started. In the 15 years since then, Kingdomcity has grown to be a church numbering tens of thousands across many nations around the world.

This global pause provided us with a divine opportunity to reset our values and refocus our priorities in a way that we never would have in the busy rhythms of former routine.
In uncertainty, one thing became clearer – followers of Jesus thrive in crisis more than casual observers of faith.

That is why Jesus said to go into all the world and ‘make disciples’.
It is hard to see a few weeks ahead and yet the longer-term path has never been more lit – to make disciples and Christ-followers, from every nation.

In the Book of Acts, they saw revival at three layers – in large gatherings, in house-to-house and in each soul, personally. While many of our larger gatherings were affected and still are, our Connects have exploded with new urgency and it has changed the very nature of church.
Ordinary people began to meet the needs of other ordinary people and we began to function like a real body.
The latent potential of every believer has been awakened and we have seen salvations, testimonies, care, support, baptisms, and genuine love and connection in homes and personal communities around the world.

The church is gathering, giving and growing and you are invited. Join in, but don’t just watch – play your part. Give your temporary currency, eternal value.
We are sowing into a decade of discipleship ahead. As you prayerfully consider your Miracle Offering, see the good, see the unseen and see beyond, because we are seeding the good, seeding the unseen and seeding beyond.
As a global family, we have expanded our reach, knowing that God’s Son died to save every corner of our world.

We partner with ministries who are reaching those we can’t, because evangelism is our privilege and responsibility. This includes BOTH sharing the gospel in word and deed – feeding the poor, housing the orphans and loving the underprivileged.
