Eligibility for admission in Diploma Course:The candidates with SSLC qualification shall study for three years. English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology of PUC standard shall be taught in the first year of the course to these students.

The candidates after successful completion of the course are eligible for appointment as Technicians or Assistants in all hospitals, various departments of Medical / Dental College, Primary Health Centers, Clinical Laboratories at district and taluk level, Nursing Homes and also in other schemes of National Health Programmes. The Para Medical Courses provide great employment opportunities in the health care sector.

Career Prospects

The anti-ragging policies of SVET are based on the Honorable

Supreme Court of India's ruling and UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher education institutions, 2009.Our institute has been free from this menace because of the active cooperation of the faculty, students, parents and staff. We also

continually make an effort to free our campus from ragging. The anti-ragging cell is being constituted and stringent measures had been taken to prevent ragging in the campus. The mobile

numbers of anti-ragging cell members are prominently displayed in the notice boards. The anti-ragging squad conducts regular and

surprise visits to the hostels, library, food court, sport facilities and ensure the fresher's are comfortable. The newly admitted students should submit anti-ragging undertaking online / produce anti-ragging affidavit on a stamp paper as per

the direction of Supreme Court of India.

Management

Trough ProfessionAttendance, Progress and conduct: Each students must have a certificate of satisfactory attendance, progress and conduct issued by the principal to be eligible for appearing the examination.

A minimum of 85% attendance is required in theory and practical separately in each subject as per government rules. Attendance of 10% may be condoned by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the principal based on genuinity of the case.

patient care. Thus, nurse faculties are challenged to prepare competent graduates to meet the ever-changing and complex

Candidates should have been registered in State Nursing Council as Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife and must have a minimum of One Year working experience. Candidates should not have attained the age of 45 years on the last day fixed for submission of application to PG Degree Entrance Test to be conducted by the RGUHS.
