Liberty Mountain Publishing (LMP) is a Christian publishing house based in Lynchburg, Virginia. We publish Christ-honoring, high-quality content in many literary genres, and welcome submissions on a variety of topics in both adult and children’s fiction and nonfiction.
LMP publishes books in both print and e-book formats. All books published by LMP must meet the following criteria:

All of our print titles are available on BarnesAndNoble.com and Amazon.com. Our e-books are available on BarnesAndNoble.com (Nook), Amazon.com (Kindle), and iBooks (Apple).
How To Submit A Book For Publication

• What the market is for your book, and how to reach it
Put your book’s text into a Microsoft Word document. We have a Sample Interior document under the “How to Submit Your Book” section on our website to help you remember what sections to include in your submission (table of contents, copyright page, etc.).
Fill out the Author Proposal form available on our website under the “How to Submit Your Book” section. Your Author Proposal gives us your contact information and lets us know:
Email your manuscript and Author Proposal to [email protected].
We will review your manuscript and mail you an official acceptance or rejection form. Acceptance letters will be accompanied by a contract.

All manuscripts must be edited by a qualified copy editor provided by Liberty Mountain Publishing. The cost is $50 plus $0.02 per word and is in addition to the cost of the Champion Publishing Package.

Professional Artwork Matters
Make sure you know exactly who your manuscript is written for. If your answer is “everyone,” take a step back and rethink how your manuscript is written.
Writing to every audience does not allow your voice to resonate with the audience. Not everyone reads on the same level or is interested in the same topics. Define your primary audience and structure your writing style to make your readers more receptive to your message.
Establish a connection with your audience. If your readers are already familiar with your work, they will be more receptive to your book. Many professional writers use social media, blogging, and speaking events to do this.
Have friends, coworkers, or family members give feedback on your book. They will notice errors and confusing paragraphs that you may have missed. Be humble, and try to accept criticism with an open mind. Peer editing can only strengthen your final product.
Be sure to get professional help when creating your book’s cover and interior artwork. Professional artists will have a good understanding of how images need to be created and sized, so they look good in print or e-book format.
