Jacksonville Beach Fishing PierThis is a fun activity that I have yet to do with my children. Take the kids down to the pier, and if your children are under the age of 6, they can fish for FREE! Over age 6 and for adults, it is $4 per fisherman. To just be a spectator, it is a mere $1 per person and free for children under 6. I bet my kids would love this!

Bloom Behavioral Solutions is hosting a 7 week summer camp from June 23 through August 7th. Our camp is designed for children with developmental delays between the ages of 5 and 13. We have a theme for each week with planned activities and community outings designed to facilitate conversation building, peer relationships, and broadening a child’s interests. The camp activities are developed by Board Certified Clinicians to increase target social skills that many high functioning children with developmental delays struggle with. Additionally, each camp instructor is trained extensively in Applied Behavior Analysis and pursuing board certification. The child to instructor ratio ranges from 1:1 to 3:1, with each child supervised by one of our Board Certified staff members. There is a possibility of your insurance company covering partial or the whole cost of camp. If you are interested in us billing your insurance company for camp we are in network with all Tricare plans, BCBS, Cigna, and Aetna. Additionally, our self pay rate is $400 per child per week and a discounted sibling rate of $350.
