Lecture Part One

Dear beloved Muslims, believers, peace be unto you. Ramadan Mubarak. We thank Allah for this month of Ramadan, the month of fasting; a month in which there are many blessings according to the words of G d in the Qur'an. We thank Him for our presence today and for our life and health and we pray that He always is with us, guides us and grants us mercy.

It is important to know and remember that the first word of communication to our Prophet was, "Read, Iqraa. Read in the name of your Lord, Who created". Praise be to Allah, highly glorified is He, the Creator of everything and in the words of the Qur'an, He is, -Al khaliqu kulle shay."

Whatever man creates is the creation of G_d, also. That is, what is of lasting value comes from G d's creation. G_d's creation is the universe and everything contained in it, including man. The Great and Most High Creator created man as a thinker for man to engage creation.

The study of man's development as a thinker or a philosopher or a scientist on the one hand and as a human community on other hand presents an interaction showing the two concerns working together as mates to address the relevancy of a timeless nature in the history of community development for civilized societies.Allah, Most High, says that He created for man mates of

the same nature in one reference that is. And Allah, Highly Glorified is He, says also that man's female counterpart is man's tilth. Tilth is an area to be cultivated or an area under cultivation.

In another Qur'anic reference Allah, the Creator says the size of the garden created for man to engage with his heart and with his intelligence is as the size or expanse of the skies and the earth, the universe, everything.

Relevancy. Many critics of religion and especially scripture, Bible and Qur'an, they say that the things that people build their life on in religion and what was revealed or what came to them through their Prophets who received revelation has little or no relevancy now in this modern time or in the world.

Relevancy means important meaning. The relevancy for man in times past, present and in the future is understood by recalling how progress for the nations are recorded in history and explained as a result of the resourceful earth and universe engaged by human hearts and the human brain. This is what we learn from history of man and his role in the universe or in the material world.

In commenting on relevancy regarding the command, "Read", firstly, reflecting on the treasures of knowledge recorded in history as the accomplishment of civilization, those treasures were found in some form already existing whether in the earth or in the study of the skies or the stars. Allah says through His servant and messenger, Muhammed (upon him be the peace), "Read in name of Lord Who created". Obviously, our Prophet Muhammed understood the connection for human hearts and intelligence when Qd introduced Himself as the Creator in His first communication to Muhammed.

Human society whether as a small number of neighbors or landowners coming together upon common interest or town folks or city dwellers, most important of the bonds holding individuals together, is a common bond of shared space on the land. The land is a creation of G_d and the people are a creation of G_d. G_d made land for people and made people for the land. The more the people engage land to better their condition the more developed will be the land; moreover, the land will be providing its fruits or its products serving man's needs often for more than one generation.

What a beautiful parable given in scripture comparing the relationship of husband to wife to the relationship of

a developer and the earth, or the land. We praise Allah and thank Him for His most valuable gift, the gift of the ideal human type for us to emulate Muhammed (the prayers and the peace be upon him) and for the marvelous system of matter commonly referred to as the universe. We pray we will always follow the word of G_d and the leadership example of His servant and messenger, the last prophet, Muhammed. Our Lord give us in this world good and in the destiny good and save us from the punishment of the fires of our wild passions.

Note. for the lecturer: The speaker takes the sitting position making a short duo'. Begin the second part of the khutbah.

Praise be to G_d the Lord, Sustainer of all the worlds and we salute His servant and messenger Muhammed with the traditional salute, the prayers and the peace be upon him and what follows of that traditional salute.

Praise be to Allah and highly glorified is He. He says in the Qur'an that He took His servant and messenger, Muhammed on the night visit up in the sky to thefarthest masj id, Al Aqsa. Dear beloved gathering here, or a congregation of believers, as it is recorded soon after this marvelous event in the life of our Prophet, he answered the invitation from the people of Medinah to come from the strained situation he was in and his followers; the strain on his mission caused by disgruntled Meccans, even among them his own relatives, i.e., two of his uncles. He went to Medinah where a warm reception was awaiting him.

This event designated the beginning of a new calendar, a new series of events, a new history. Soon, a community fulfilling the needs of people belonging to a cohesive society took shape and fon-n. Education the lifeblood and salat, the life, were established as the core concern or nucleus for binding other the concerns necessary for the complete design or picture of an Islamic society. The persecuted plan for Islamic community life on this planet was given a situation for its realization. Whatever is desired to be accomplished, first, needs the right situation.

If you want to drive a car to see neighbor at a distance away, first, there must be the right situation. There must be a car drivable and a person qualified to drive. A man wanting to board up something needs the right situation. There has to be things on hand. He is not comfortable to go to work until the site is ready, the tools are with him,

and he is clear as to what to do. This is said to make what was given in the first part of the khutbah, or lecture, more understandable.

Praise be to Allah, the Creator of everything. The potent and pregnant term, "Read", for scriptural understanding, when connected with the expression, "the Creator", and hence further connecting to creation is what situated our Prophet's heart and mind to understand his calling; what he was to do; his mission; what it would be all about.

Our most important concerns, family survival and progress, children's education and their future, community survival and progress, institutions and industry, though the wicked disrupt nature with their brain life progresses.

Firstly, G_d's guidance is to be relied upon for us to have the right situation; to have development for our own souls, for our community; to have education; to have our future prepared for the next generation, for our children. We need the right situation. If we rely upon Allah, on the guidance that He's given in the Qur'an and on the model person for us to emulate Muhammed, the Prophet, the prayers and the peace be upon him, we will have the right situation.

(Dua'): "Our Lord, You are surely gathering all humanity for a day in which there will be no doubt. Our Lord, do not have our hearts turned back after You have guided us aright and give us from Your Presence Mercy. Surely You are the Grantor". Ameen.

Iqaamah, the call for standing in prayer.

Session # Two

With Allah's name, the Merciful Benefactor, the Merciful Redeemer. The praise and the thanks is for G_d, we thank Him for the gift and blessing of the model human person 'Whammed, the honorable and noble servant and Messenger of G_d and what follows of that salute or that traditional salutation to the last Prophet, the seal of the Prophets mentioned in the Bible as it is given in the Qur'an.

Now, you are not familiar with this, 1 don't think. But the descendants of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed, some of my brothers, some of my sisters, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, they have gotten together and formed a wonderful project to

commemorate the works, the contributions to us and to society, to the world, from the Honorable Elijah Mohammed. They are really a beautiful group. The Honorable Elijah Mohammed and my mother, Clara Mohammed were blessed with very some beautiful, bright, educated, professional grandchildren as well as children. I don't want to leave us out. I just wanted you to be aware of this because it is going to really be wonderful and really great. In fact, they are meeting today, tomorrow and Sunday this weekend here in the Chicago area. We pray that Allah blesses their efforts and I'm sure they are going to get a lot of support for a commemorative center that would have the works of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed, his contributions. 1 just wanted to bring that to your attention. I know a lot of you care about the Honorable Elijah Mohammed and his works. Yes, we care a lot about the Honorable Elijah Mohammed and his works and we care a lot about the families of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed. And thank Allah that we are blessed to have some very bright, professional youngsters in the family among the descendants of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed. Thank you. I just wanted to bring that to your attention. It looks like we are nearly ready now. And please, Brother

David, see me at the meeting. We have an appointment

brother, hold it. Brother David, he has never done this, but some people run up to me and they want people to think they have given me something extremely valuable; and some of them want you to think they are giving me money. They run up to me and give me something and most of the time when I get home I can't even read it. But I can't blame them. All of these good-looking brothers and sisters arc out here and they want them to know that they're here, too.

About three years ago, almost now, I noticed how the crowd was growing for the yearly, annual Ramadan Sessions and I said I believe in our hearts the month of Ramadan, these sessions, are replacing the old, annual Nation of Islam Savior's Day that we used to come to. Our spirit was for that every year. All of us were in the spirit to come to Chicago to hear the Honorable Elijah Mohammed and to meet one another once a year for Savior's Day. I think the Ramadan session is kind of replacing that. I believe it is going to grow as big as Savior's Day used to be. It is growing fast. So we are going to have to find a larger place. I promise you the next Ramadan Session, en sha Allah, I say that because we never know what is going to happen to me or to anybody. But I feel now like I got most of my life ahead of me. But that's the spirit, you know. So ensha Allah we will definitely get away from this situation. We won't have it like this. We'll find a bigger place. We'll have a place to accommodate everybody, because I don't like you inconvenienced like this, standing and others sitting. I don't like that. I promise you next year it won't be this way. You'll have a place to sit. This is when we like the press to come in and report. They like to report when you have empty seats. But, ensha Allah, we will remedy it some kind of way. Even if we had chairs there is not place to put the chairs. So we are going to have to get a larger place...

The community of human beings

The Jumah Khutbah today, the two-part lecture, was on the relationship that man has to the universe. But man, here, is plural. It means the community of human beings, descendants of Adam, the first father, Adam, and its relevancy, its importance for us now; the past, present; but most importantly its importance for us now in this time that we are living in this crowded world that we are living in. We believe in the timeless nature of revelation, the Qur'an or revealed word from G d. TheQur'an and what was revealed before it is timeless. That is, it fits into all times. It fits into all times.

Page 8: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

Judgment Day is continuous

The essential nature or essence of human life created by G_d does not change its nature. Its nature does not change. So those who survive with their original nature they can be revived if they are slumbering or sleepy, and negligent or whatever, by G d's word if presented to them correctly. Even if they are dead they can be resurrected if the word of G_d is presented to them correctly. Now, you say, "Well, if they're dead that's on Judgment Day." We believe that Judgment Day is continuous. This is Islamic belief. There will be a final standing or Day of Judgment, but Judgment is all the time.

And the resurrection is not as important for the individuals who live and die as it is for community life that lives and dies. We should understand that Muhammed the Prophet who received the Qur'an became the leader of a new community, an international community now of over one and a quarter billion on this earth. And we should understand that life was given to nations, to communities all over the planet earth who were sleeping or mentally dead; but they were awakened to life by the Qur'an and the teaching, leadership and example of Muhammed, the Prophet, upon him be the prayers and the peace.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. We witness G_d is one and cares about all of His creation, especially His human creation and the model human life that is exemplified in the life history of Muhammed, the Prophet, upon him be the prayers and the peace. For this session, the first day of this session, we will be discussing revealed scripture, the cultivation of the human soul, its education and the right perception of human identity.

The first identity for humans is the identity given by G d

If we understand the Qur'an and also the Bible on the Genesis of man, how we came to exist as humanity and civilized society, how we came to exist on this planet earth; if we understand it, we understand that the first identity for humans is the identity given by G_d, not what is given from Darwin about us descending from apes or monkeys. It is the identity that G_d revealed of us. And we believe that this identity was conceived inparadise and then later formed in the earth. The Prophet Muhammed, upon him be the prayers and the peace, is a model of human excellence for all believers to emulate and these believers include more than Muslims. G_d

says in Qur'an that he is an excellent model for any who believe in G_d and the last day and believe that they have to account before Gil; believe that they should be accountable to their Creator, G_d. Any who believe that Muhammed is an excellent model for them.

The prophets are to be seen as singular and plural figures

In the Qur'an as also in previous scriptures, Adam, Abraham, Jesus Christ and other prophetic figures or prophets, servants of G_d, are to be seen as singular but also as plural figures. That means they do not only represent themselves individually but what is more important for us students...1 say us students because I'm always a student. The Prophet said education, to get knowledge, is an obligation on the Muslim from the cradle to the grave; and that is spirit of most of us. Our spirit is to continue to seek the word of G_d and to seek understanding. That's our spirit. And no matter how old we get on the calendar, that doesn't change. That spirit stays young.

So each of these great Prophets, and I did not name all of them. I just named a few of them, the main ones. 1 did not mention Moses. But all of those Prophets, they arc special types of what G_d wants us to become ourselves. We should have the character, our character should be growing more like the character of Muhammed, the Prophet. Our choices that we make in life should be guided by the principles that Muhammed, the Prophet stood upon. So our choices will be good, will be right, will the best choices. We should follow him in his excellence, generally speaking. He also was an excellent husband to his wives. The more we know about him as a person in history, Islamic history, firstly, the more we can benefit from his excellent model of human life that G_d has shown us in the Qur'an.

Muhammed is what we are created to be in our human excellence

So I could say to you and be correct that when you look at Muhammed's human excellence you're looking at what you were created to be yourself. You're looking at what you are created to be. G_d is not pointing us tosomething that is not our own life. He wants to show what is each individual's life as that life was planned G_d, the Creator.

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.5 of 17

Page 9: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

G_d says in the second chapter of Qur'an verse 150 quote, "So from whencesoever thou start forth turn thy face in the direction of the sacred mosque, and wheresoever ye are turn your face thither". Now this is Old English. It means turn your face in that direction towards what has been mentioned, the sacred mosque. "That there be no ground of dispute against you among the people of the Book except from them that are bent on wickedness." That means they are just obsessed with doing those bad things, they arc fixed there. They can't get out of it. They are determined to keep up their wicked ways, bent on wickedness. "So fear them not, but fear Me". That's Cid speaking! "So fear them not but fear Me and that I may complete My favors on you and ye may be guided."

And you know in the beginning of Qur'an after al Fatiha when you are reading the Qur'an G_d tells us of the Book, "Hudan lil muttaqeen., It is guidance for the pious, for those who reverence G d in what He has established to be reverenced; hudan lil muttaqeen. A similar verse I'll give you now addressing what we arc bringing forward now is in verse 151 of the same chapter, chapter two. And G_d says, "A similar favor have you already received in that We have sent among you..." The Arabic language is, "Feekurri." It literally means, 'In you.' "In that we have sent among you a messenger of your own rehearsing to you our signs and purifying you and instructing you in scripture and wisdom and in new knowledge."

Turn your face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque

Now let us go back to some of what we have recited from Qur'an for some comments. G_d said to the Prophet, "Turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque". And G d says to all of us after that, He says to you, speaking to all believers, "You all turn your faces towards the Sacred Mosque." All believers, all followers of Muhammed, all Muslims are instructed by Allah to turn our faces towards the Sacred Mosque. And He says, Gil says that is„ no matter from what place we are coming or what place we are in, He wants us to turn our faces towards the Sacred Mosque. You know we do that in prayer, right?

And He tells us, which is the promise from G d, that if we do that, follow that, no matter where we are on this earth He will bring us all together. G_d says by it He will bring us all together. So there is a lot of struggling in the minds of scholars and religious leaders of Islam over our lack of unity. The way to unite us is very plain

and clear. No matter where we are, I'm in United States, we're in the United States, other leaders for their people are in India, in Egypt, in Pakistan, in Spain, in Africa, all over the world; in the Philippines, all over the world. G_d says wherever we are He will bring us together.

The Sacred Mosque with no roof over it

But, to be brought together we all must agree in one Qibla. It is the Sacred Mosque, Masjidil haram. This is no ordinary mosque. And you know it does not have a roof over it. The part that is covered by a roof is an addition added to accommodate the growing crowds that come to make Hajj, pilgrimage every year But when you make the circles around the Kabah, salute the corner with the black stone in it or wave to it and greet it if you can't go there and actually touch it and kiss it as Muhammed the Prophet did, at least you are supposed to wave to it. You arc supposed to put your open palm up facing it when you make the Hajj, pilgrimage. And then you get into the circle with the pilgrims and you start going counter clock wise towards your left side and you make circles around the kabah.

That is the Masjidil Haram. That is the Sacred Mosque with no roof over it. You say, "Well what about the kabah, the house? It has a roof over it?" That is not the Sacred Mosque. That open ground that we walk on around the house, all of that is the Masjidil Haram. You see masjid comes from the word meaning to prostrate, to make sajdah, like we do when we finish our prayer with our nose, forehead, hands, knees, toes bent like a baby as getting ready to crawl or something. That is sajdah and the mosque takes its name from that position, masjid, from sajdah. So the masjid is the place of prostration, the place of sajdah. It doesn't have to have any walls or anything, that is the masjid. Allah says, "Al ardu masjidullah, the earth is Allah's masjid." That means anywhere you make salat is masjid at that time. And if you do it on a regular basis then that spot will become the masjid; without any walls, no ceiling, nothing, that spot will become the masjid.

I'm talking to my students. I am trying to teach my students and those who do not see themselves as my

students. 1 am trying to teach all of you. Now if you have a bad spirit that's not my fault. I did not put it in you. I wouldn't say that if I didn't want all of you to benefit. I want all of you to benefit whether you like me or not. You don't have to like me, just like what I like. You can dislike me. In fact, you can spit on my picture, that's

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.6 of 17

Page 10: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

okay as long as 1 know you like what I like. You like Qur'an, you like the right understanding of Qur'an. You like Muhammed. You like the right understanding of Muhammed. I love you. Whether you hate me or not, don't care. Praise be to Allah.

We're leading up to a conclusion. I visited the Palestinian quarters and saw bow bad they were being treated by the Israeli government, that regime at that time, and they have a worst one now. I was given an opportunity to go and visit Masjid al Aqsa and made prayer there. The Muslim guide showed us the direction for the qibla there and be said, "See this name of this masjid." I said, yes, I did. He said, "It is the masjid of the two qiblas, Masjid Qiblatain". The Prophet was leading his followers to turn to towards Jerusalem in prayer. Allah never told the Prophet to do that but the Prophet was not a person raised in any of the religions and he didn't accept to worship idols or to join the idol worshipers, or the pagans in their way of life. So he was just like the person going on his own not belonging to any religious order or way; and he stayed that way until Gd began revealing to him.

"A Qibla that shall please you"

So he knew how important Jerusalem was to the Christians and the Jews. He led his followers in prayer and they faced that direction. Later on here in this presentation we will come back to that. But for now you know that it was changed and the Prophet was instructed by Allah, by his Creator, by our Creator to turn toward the Masjid al Haram in Mecca. Before Islam that same city though the Arabs called it Mecca, was called Becca.

Now, so we are commenting on this. It says, G_d says and I quote, "We see the turning=of your face for guidance to the heavens, the skies. Now shall We turn thee, now shall we turn you, to a Qibla that shall please you." So this is clearly saying that Muhammed had been turning in that direction towards Jerusalem but was not pleased with it. He didn't know what to do, and then G_d answered his stressed situation and says, "Turn then your face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque; wherever you are turn your face in that direction." Thenit says, "The people of the Book know well that it is the truth from their Lord. Allah is not unmindful of what they do".

What is it saying? Don't just read and not think. This is saying that Christians and Jews knew and know that the better Qibla for human beings on this earth is the Qibla

that is in the Masjidil Haram, in Mecca. At that site, a little simple, cubical house that has been reported in legend, in cultural tradition, legends of the Arabs, as a house that was built by Abraham and his son Ismail; not Isaac, peace be upon the prophets, because all of those that I mentioned are prophets. What's so valuable about this Qibla? And why do the people of Book do not acknowledge that Muhammed is turning to something that they are well aware of and that is turning to a direction that is more important for humanity there and all over the planet earth than the Qibla that he was turning to before that was in Jerusalem?

That one in Jerusalem it is valued by Jews so much because it has the ruins there of a great kingdom that they once had and they said that kingdom was under the Prophet Sulaimon, Solomon, the wise; the temple of Solomon is there. And during his time they achieved great success and had a great kingdom. And people of other races, other religions, all of them were impressed with that kingdom and many of them had a good life. Non Jews, people of different cultures, Africans and others had a good life there because of the great advances they made for civilization. So the Jews turn back there and they weep at the weeping wall, weeping the loss of a great kingdom. But that great kingdom was a kingdom of the Jews and they addressed the Lord G_d as the Lord of Israel. So this bothered our Prophet's heart that he turning in a direction towards something that is not compatible with his perfect, ideal, human soul, character, and intelligence. G d's way is always the best. So G d says that He allowed them to worship that way. He allowed that to happen. G_d could have stopped it. G_d could have stopped him before he turned that way and had others following him. G_d could have stopped that. But G_d said it was a test for his followers to bring out the strong that would able to stand up to cannons of the people of the Book; be able to stand up to Israel, to the Jews, to their leaders and not tremble and shake; but be strong in their position behind

Muhammed, the leader, Muhammed, the Prophet, the prayers and the peace be upon him.So G_d said it is to test them to see who would turn

around. They say, "Now you are changing the direction. I'm through with this. You don't even know the direction. You are not even sure which direction we should be praying in. I'm going to join the Jews or go back to the idolaters, the idol worshipers." Yes, He wanted to test them.

You know, I noticed the strong winds that come in spring, the month of March introducing spring. Those

Page 11: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

winds are strong. They knock down weak stuff. They knock down rotten stuff, dead stuff. And then I noticed at the end of the season it comes again, not quite like March. The strong winds come again knocking down weak stuff, dead and rotten stuff. So when the next spring comes the life is strong. And just in case it's not a strong wind will come again in the spring, in March. That's the way of G_d. All of these things are signs, G_cl. says. Both in the Bible and in the Qur'an, it says these things are signs, but most of the people are unaware, or don't pay attention, heedless.

The Honorable Elijah Mohammed kissing the Black Stone

I heard the Honorable Elijah Mohammed once say he made Umraa. He never made Hajj. He was going to Egypt and Pakistan, so he got permission to make Umraa; the Honorable Elijah Mohammed, the one who was calling all white people devils. There were some white ones in the government leadership of the Hajj administration, Saudi Arabia, but they let him in there. We have his picture kissing the black stone and he said of his making the Umra there, "When I kissed that stone I felt like I was kissing myself" Now, what is the stone? Muhammed kissed the stone, the Prophet himself, prayers and the peace be on him, he kissed the stone. And one of the khalifs said, "If I had not seen him or known he kissed that stone I would have never kissed

it.

And I'm sure that Khalifa didn't have the insight. "Oh, who are you to say that the khalifa, the companion of the Prophet didn't have insight?" Understand that he had no knowledge. Just a few years before he saw Prophet Muhammed kiss that black stone that khalifa had no knowledge. They had to be educated in the scripture and in religion that they had no history for and had no life in. So they were actually ignorant of what the Christians knew and ignorant of what the Jews knew. Those Arabs that worshiped idols were ignorant of that. Even though

this khalifa never worshiped idols, either. He was like Prophet Muhammed. There were a few people in that time did not go for that ignorance. They just did not have a religion.

The Hun afaa

They are called Hunafaa from Hanif. And Abraham is called the hanif, Ibraheem, or Abraham, the hanif. And the Arabic speaking people approve of the translation that haneef means "upright in his human nature". That

simply means that those people who were companions, associated with each other, because they had like minds and like spirit, like character and like similar values and principles, their belief was that a human should live out the best of his life and he should build upon the best of his life. He should never follow weakness and something that brings down his life. He should only follow strength and that which makes his life more excellent. And it is said by G_d in the Qur'an that this was the nature and the position of Abraham, Ibraheem, the hanifa, the upright in his nature.

So continuing the comments on this, the people of Book then are refusing to acknowledge something that is great. But, though it is not acknowledged by them that Muhammed's qibla is the better qibla for all people in their churches, in their synagogues, in their religions, it has been acknowledged by them in their search for the ideal society; how to establish the best government for the people. I believe France was first to think what is the best form of government for us have, for all people to have progress and much less problems than we have with these other forms of governments we have experienced. And heir thinkers, their philosophers arrived at the idea of collective rule, collective authority that we now call or commonly refer to as democracy.

The identity is human

Our democracy in these United States comes to birth upon a perception of the human being as a creation with rights that you can't take away from him. You can't violate these rights of the human being, the human person; and that these rights belong to each human person that will be accepted in the citizenry by virtue of their own natural composition; that they have these rights simply because they are human. The identity is human. So if the identity is human then they arc entitled to these rights by virtue of their own identity and composition, not made by man, not made bygovernment, but inherent in the very flesh of every person. This is the position that these great philosophers took and we have this idea holding our political concept together for this nation. That's what holds the concept together, the belief in the inalienable rights of the individual human person. Once you accept to be a citizen here, you have that recognition and those rights are not to be taken from you or violated. And no government, nobody can take those rights from any individual human person.

We inherit the spirit for human community

So our government, France and other Western governments that have that as an adhesive holding their ideology together, those governments have come to the qibla of the Muslims. That is exactly what we believe. And I'm sure that they had the good intelligence and the hearts and nature; those who put together the idea for us for generations to come, I'm sure they also understood that this applies also to the collective body of the people. It's more important as a possession of the human community than it is as a possession of the human individual.

What we inherit is the community spirit, the spirit for human community. We are not just inheriting properties that are to be established as the properties of individual human life, no! We are inheriting an urge, a spirit, a direction in our life stream, our life flow, that will connect us with others who the have the same and the purpose of it is for us to form a social community, a community of people. And that is why says in theQur'an, highly glorified is He, that the creatures that go about on this earth, they have communities like yours. It's in the Qur'an and you have read it many of you. That is to tell us that it is not only a description of human life. This is the description of life, period!

You don't have to stretch you imagination too much to agree with those who say that even plant life exits in communities. Grass wants to be with grass, it so happens that way; trees with trees. That is the forest, isn't it? Community life. If you don't have the right qibla and your life hasn't been interrupted and confused by the world that rejects the real qibla or is ignorant of the real qibla you will be unconscious in your own nature. It will be unconscious in your own makeup to come to that idea or that belief, that recognition that I am human, 1. should mate with other humans. If a black is not human and you are black the human shouldn't mate with the non-human.No, human is first not Africa, not Europe, not white or black, yellow or red.

The excellent model is the pure human type

The human is first. That is your valuable property that you are human. That is your sacred property that you are human. It would is better that you are human and keep your own identity with your people, but if all of your people turn to another qibla that make them wild and crazy, filthy and inhuman then you leave all of your people and you become white, yellow, red or anything thing else rather than give up your humanity. You see this is where we should be when we're reading the

Qur'an and reading about Muhammed's excellent model. The excellent model is not an Arab. The excellent model is the pure human type that G_d wants in every human walking the earth.

If G d had awakened him up in his Arab identity and fastened him to his Arab identity he never would have been known. He would have gotten nowhere. But G_d didn't wake him up in his Arab identity. G_d woke him up in his human identity and G_d gives us a sign, a qibla that identifies us with our original nature, our original life, our original human pattern that GA planned for all people...(distortion begins to come from the PA system)...I didn't know this great wisdom could do all that! Mr. Fard said when the time comes you're going to hear sirens, praise be to Allah. It used to bother me but it doesn't anymore, because I know Allah is with us and whatever happens, Gd says come willingly or Unwillingly. The system just couldn't take it anymore!

When managing our life becomes too troublesome for us - - and aren't we there right now when it comes to the public life? It is too troublesome for us. We can't handle it. We can't turn them around. We can't speak to them and they respect what we are saying. So what happens? We who want to keep the valuable human life, we turn to the supernatural. For those who are already in a religion like Christians and Jews, we turn to the strength of our religion. For Muslim it is the same, we turn to the strength of our religion. But sometimes right direction is so confused even in our religion we say, "I just can't

find any help. I've been read this Bible and I can't find any help." Now, this may surprise you, "I've been reading this Qur'an and I just can't find help." I have heard it. So we turn to the supernatural by some name and sometimes by no name. " Well, I don't know what His name is. I know that there is a G_d but I just ean'ITe 3affair. You want to work this out between you and your Lord. Yes. I’m comfortable anymore with what I have been following."

If you remain sincere G_d comes to you

So you go on your own, right? You go on your own still believing in the supernatural. That means something that is not subjected to the fate that we are subjected to or that natural life is subjected to; something that does not get sick, something that does not get confused, something that does not get worried or something like that, or breakdown when difficulty comes. So we turn to something that we say is the supernatural. I know there

is a Cause behind all this. I know there is something that brought all of this world about and something that caused me to be here, etc. So we turn to our own imagination and to your own concern and you say, "I just can't follow what I have been given before. It ain't helping." And if you remain sincere G_d comes to you. Oh yeah, G_d comes to you. You may ask, "G_d comes to us, too, not just the prophets?" Yes. Just hold on.

The people of Book had been told and I put this in quotes, "No one has ascended into heaven except him who was already in heaven". That is the Bible. Now understand that, "No one has ascended into heaven, except he who was in heaven, already." So this was left with the people of Book. Also, they were given a picture of Adam or an idea or concept of Adam, the first human being, as the forebear of all humanity; the first human being, the beginning of humanity on the earth. He wasn't born of man's flesh. Adam was created. It is important for the students, my students, to comprehend what is given in the Qur'an regarding the necessary steps that have to be to taken to establish one's life in the context of community, or of community life. The natural progression for our spirit, our soul and our human contents that G_d created begins with us having a desire inside or ourselves to establish ourselves spiritually, but we don't think in those terms. Actually, the desire is to establish our soul. But we don't think in those terms.

We just know we need to make something better inside of us. Our spirit and thinking when managing our life becomes too troublesome for us we turn to the supernatural. Even if we keep the religion we still turn to the supernatural. You are turning to Him on your own. You don't have the preacher telling you how to turn to it, though you go to church. You don't have the synagogue or the Imam of the masjid telling you how to deal with this though you go to the masjid. It has become a private

"The One who created me shall guide me"

When the mighty Pharaoh was trying to break the spirit of the Prophet who was defying him he warned the Prophet that, "I could cut you loose now and if I banish you or cut you loose what are you going to do? How are you going to make it in life?" The Prophet said to Pharaoh, "The One Who created me will guide me." Do you notice how he put that? "The One Who created me will guide me". What is that saying? "I will be guided through my own human creation." There that Qibla is, again. I will be guided though my own human creation. That is what he was telling Pharaoh. "The One Who created mc shall guide mc." He didn't have G_d with him and Pharaoh didn't say, "Are you talking about that

One Who is standing by you there?" No. There was nobody around; nobody but him talking to Pharaoh. But he knew the he didn't get his creation on his own and that he or no other human being could design his creation and make it come into existence. So he was saying that "Whoever, Whatever gave me this marvelous creation left enough guidance in my own human creation for me to follow to make it on my own. Pharaoh I don't need you!"

Yes, so we have to establish ourselves in our own soul. You have to be able to stand up in your own soul. If you can't face your soul without falling down then you need to get help. And there is help in the Qur'an and in thelife of Muhammed the model of human excellence for all of us.

Muhammed, the Prophet, when he was called by Allah to be the last prophet he was seeking Allah. He was seeking answers. He was troubled by the confusion of the world at that time and the condition of the people burdened his heart. So he sought Allah. He went to find the Supernatural.

He had already lived a lifetime among you, the life Allah established Muhammed in, he did not lose his original creation that Allah gave for first time, the Adam nature, the original man. He was still in that original nature. He had not come out of it and he was 40 years old. Prophet had not made acquaintance with scriptures of any religion nor was he a member of any faith. He wasnoble, honorable, beloved, trustworthy and truthful. Inthe history of the Arabs this was established and we still have the history.

"...and thereafter, be upright"

Muhammed was asked by some young fellow, "Tell me something nobody else can tell me." I get that attitude sometimes from some of you. You see, that is an attitude. You are so special. You know so much. "Tell me something no one else can tell me". Like, "What I heard so far I can get it from around the corner. I know where I can get that. I know some place to go and get that so I need you to tell me something that nobody else can tell me." The Prophet surprised him. He gave him a real plain and simple reply. He said, "Say, I have believed and thereafter be upright, you crooked snake 'you". He said, "Say I have believed". Here, he connected belief, faith with uprightness, didn't he? So what is the real faith? The real faith is the faith that is established upon uprightness or that blossoms upon

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.10 of 17

uprightness. He said, "Qul, say, amantu, I have accepted faith, I have believed. And thereafter, thumma staqim, be upright."

Look at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing up straight from the Arabic word "Qaama" meaning to stand; but also the word for people, "Qom", is connected too with standing up straight, erect. I don't think it is an accident that one of the names given to the progressive life we call the human life in science is homo erectus, the human in the erect posture standing up straight. He said, "Say, I have believed and thereafter be upright".

Now, he responded to this wise guy, this smart guy. I'm sorry, the language, you know, in America. I almost said what I didn't want to say. He responded to that smart guy, but he also responded to the wise, intelligent and civil minded people too. You see the Prophet didn't waste anything. If he had an occasion being put on the spot to say something he didn't just speak to that little small thing there. He spoke also to the big picture while speaking to small minded. He spoke also to the big picture. So in the big picture he's saying be upright in your nature, have faith and be upright in your nature. Have the uprightness that G_d gave the first human type, Adam. Be the best you can be in your human make up. Follow the excellence of your human life, not weaknesses and that that will shame you.

"Who do you say I the son of man am?"

So this original type, Adam, was given to the people of the Book and they know that Jesus Christ was established upon that reality. Jesus Christ is reported to have said to Peter, "Who do you say I the son of man am?" He didn't say to Peter, "Who do you say I am?" Like we would do. We're not wise like the Prophets. He said, "Who do you say I, the son of man, am?"What Jesus did was limited, he put a limit on what Peter should come back with because he already told Peter, "Now, Peter, before you start talking, I'm telling you now that I am the son of man. I am the original man after the original type and he was not born of flesh. G_d created him, Adam." Upon the prophets be peace. And Peter gave what established Christianity. He gave Jesus too much. He gave more than what Jesus wanted from him. If you doubt that look at what Jesus Christ said to him. He said, "Before the rooster crows three times you will have betrayed me". That's what he said to Peter. "Before the rooster crows three times you will have already betrayed me, because you already

betrayed me with your answer to my question". And it wasn't an answer that was easily established. The Christian leadership went into confusion and it took them a few centuries to come out of it after the passing of Jesus Christ, peace be on him. If

understand it, the originaldesign and human spirit that comes from G_d's command, "Kun fayakun, Be and it is," that is the original soul of every human person. If Adam is our ancestor that means I came from Adam. And if I came from Adam that means is in me. My immediate parents, Elijah Mohammed who was called Elijah Poole at birth and Clara Mohammed who was called Clara Evans at birth, my life flesh-wise and in other ways too that are very important came from Elijah and Clara Mohammed. And you expect for the person that you come from to be in you because if you didn't you would not be saying, "Who does he favor?" You would be a little concerned. "Oh I think he looks a little like his father." And another one would say, "He looks more like his mother to me." And another would say, "Really he doesn't look like either one of them." And that is what someone said to Prophet Muhammed. He was worried. He said, "I have children and some of them don't look like me." But he also raised animals, this person who had the problem. So the Prophet said, "Do you notice some of your animals that come from the parents they don't look like the parents?" He said "yes." And the Prophet left him right there. Peace be upon the Prophet, a very kind and merciful, loving human being, the Prophet.

Prophet Muhammed, the student of Allah

They said he never looked at anyone harshly. He would not frown and they said he would never stare at a person like some of us do. He was a very special human creation, the best. So, Allah chose Muhammed, didn't He to be the last Prophet, His servant and messenger? Allah chose Muhammed and he was established in his original nature. But was he established in his soul? No, his soul was bothering him. His soul was not comfortable with the life that he was in and how the people were living. He was not comfortable that. He was not comfortable with authorities. He was not comfortable with the system and with the way of life. He was not comfortable with a lot of things and the proof that he was not established in his own soul is G d says, "Now we are going to turn you to a Qibla that will please you." His soul was disturbed.

And when Allah says of Muhammed that G_d is going

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.11 of 17

Page 15: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

to not only inspire him but G_d is also going to also teach him. How many of us think of Muhammed theProphet as the student of Allah? G_d says He is going to teach Muhammed. That is what He says in Qur'an. And then He also says in other parts that He taught him. But isn't that what he said of Adam, the first man, the original human type that Muhammed had kept in his own makeup and had not lost it? Adam is Muhammed. Adam is Muhammed unchanged, still in his perfect form that G d created when the first man was created in heaven or in the garden.

Muhammed was Adam

Yes, Muhammed was Adam and that's why it is said of Jesus that he is second Adam. Jesus Christ was Adam, too. Jesus Christ was born among animals. Do you all recall the nativity scene and a little baby among animals" That means that Jesus was born among idolaters, among pagan people but they didn't change his nature. The original nature that G_d gave the first human being, Adam, was left unchanged, unspoiled; likewise for Muhammed the Prophet And the Prophet said there will come a time when you will see Jesus Christ and Muhammed together in these important meanings, important concepts, that he is the original type and Jesus Christ was the original type. Adam in the beginning of humanity was the original type made by G_d in heaven, in paradise.

So In the month of Ramadan while reading the Qur'an with hope of completing it by the end of this blessed month we would do well if we remember that through Muhammed the words of Allah reached us in the form of the generous Qur'an. It came to him first then he had to speak it or express it to us. And he earned that because he kept his original life and nature intact. He did not lose it to the world of idolatry and ignorance. Then Allah says that He inspired Muhammed, Himself, and He guided Muhammed, Himself; and He, G_d, taught Muhammed, Himself.

"It is G_d, Himself, Who cautions you"

Then G_d says that He inspires whomsoever He pleases and gives of His Spirit to whomsoever He pleases. And He says that He gave Muhammed to us to do what? To purify us, to lead us to purity; and to teach us the Book and the wisdom. Then Allah says, "It is Allah Who teaches you all, "Yuallekumul laahu." That is to all of us, that is not to one. G d teaches us. Muhammed is gone, how is G_d teaching us? His word is alive and

His word inspires you. His word wakes you up in your soul and wakes you up in your intelligence. And His word teaches you. His word educates you. What does the Bible say of Jesus? I have to go away but I be with you always; not as the flesh but as the word of G_d. The word of G_d will be with you always and it will give you life if you're dead. It will inspire you and it will guide you; and it will teach you. Praise be to Allah.

Allah also says, "Yuhadheru kumul laahu nafsahu," "It is G_d, Himself, Who cautions you." We underestimate the power, value, and beauty of Gd's word. The average one of us, we do not come near to understanding or seeing what the Qur'an is in our life. The last Prophet, Muhammed, on him be the prayers and the peace, he said, "No prophet after me". These are his words. We don't need a prophet. The way Allah established the word through Muhammed the Prophet, the Qur'an, we don't need a Prophet.

You say, "If we don't need a prophet what about an Imam?" No, you don't need an Imam. You should be your own Imam. That doesn't mean that all of you are supposed to go out now and don't go back to the masjid. I say you don't need an Imam if you will stand upright in your own nature. You will follow the Imam still because you that is the community life and that community life is all of our good and our good future. We know that. Youknow if every man that came to masjid would stop and think and say, "Wait a minute. I'm going to hear so and so. Is he more intelligent than me? No. Does he show by his behavior and his life that he understands the religion better than me? No. But I'm going to join the brothers in prayer. I'm going to join the congregation. I'm going to join the masjid. I am going to the masjid and pray behind that Imam." So if all of us would just really lookat the person we are praying behind and see if he's better qualified than we are as a human being on this earth there would be nobody praying behind the man, a very few. Some of the Imams would have to go out on the streets and pull somebody in from the drug addicts and wine heads and that is what they used to do, go out fishing for nothing but people in the ghetto, the bottom, the black bottom of the ghetto.

"Get them with mud in their eyes"

The Honorable Elijah Mohammed said,"Get them with mud in their eyes. Get them from so deep in the mud you can't see anything but mud in their eyes". It's nice of a human being to care about the

people like that but it isn't nice for the community to go looking for people like that. Your community has to get up first, then you can set up a drug rehab place. You can set up some institutions to take care of those fish. But you should be looking for some intelligent people who can make a contribution to the community. Those are the one you're supposed to be fishing in. And then you will be fishing in men. Jesus Christ said what? "Follow me and become fishermen of men". So what were they fishing for out there in the water? It was not men obviously from what Jesus Christ said. They weren't established in their human nature, in the excellent way that Allah wants us established. They were the uncivilized or they were so ignorant that they were not living their real life, human life.

You know, once you see the light and know the reality then you can put it in your own language. You have to put it in your own language. Mr Fard said you must learn the terminology. And he said, "You will not able to speak well until you put your mathematical theology in the proper terms." That's what Mr. Fard said. Mr. Fard said this. What he gave us as a test, cannons, help, experience etc., prepared some of us in a very marvelous way to be able to now study the Qur'an and the life of Muhammed the Prophet and put it in our common language.

It is all about what? Ummah, community, and we are called the best community. One of the students of Arabic brought it to my attention. He said, "Brother Imam, you say in the Qur'an Allah says 'You were the best community. No, it is not you are the best community. `Kuntum'. You were the best community. I told him, Yes, now that you corrected me I remember it is "Kuntum" you were the best community.

Well I guess that has many purposes; one is that the Prophet knew because he said "My community is going to go into darkness and it is going to rise upon the same type of people that it began on, the poor". That is one of his sayings that they have, peace be on him. But I see something else, too. When G_d says "Kuntum, you were" the scholar, the student, the scholarly student he wants to understand, this. "You were the best community". Is it speaking to a time when the community will lose its quality, and won't be the best community? Yes, perhaps, but how about connecting it with Adam who was before all of us? Befo1e Muhammed, before the ummah Adam and that community was in Adam, in Adam's human design.

Adam is a person and a type

Adam was not just a person. Adam is a type and he's a plural figure as well as a single figure. In Genesis, I was reading the Bible and it caught my attention that here is a report on the genesis of man coming first in Genesis; and it seemed that his creation had already been done. And then here comes Genesis again with a new start saying that the man was alone and G d did not want him to be alone. So G d caused a rain to come down from the heavens and wet the ground and then He formed the man of the ground. Now here is a man who was lonesome, a man that needed woman.

Where was his body? I can understand if he didn't have a body no woman was going to be there. So then He caused a rain to come down from the heaven and wet the earth and after the earth was wet it must have been dry and dusty. It must have been too loose to hold together. So when the rain came down and wet it then He formed the man and after He formed the man he formed the woman of a rib of the man, right? That is Genesis. And G_d says of His creation that He made; .I'm not giving this to you to hold on to this as guidance. This is research. The guidance is the Book you have with you, the Qur'an, although there is guidance in the Bible, too.But that is not for us to hold up as guidance. We hold the Qur'an up as guidance.

All right, so G_d says He made Adam. And G_d says, "And He made them." This is the second report on the creation. He says and He made them and He called them (not one person) and called them Adam in the day that He created them. That is Genesis. So Genesis is clearly telling us Adam is not the creation of one person; that Adam is a plural type in all the people that G_d made originally; and they had the same nature, the same human design or composition; they are the original human type.

And then Muhammed, the Prophet comes, after Jesus Christ, pointing to the same the truth that the Christians mystified too much to understand. Then here comes Prophet Muhammed again with plain, clear language, and he says, "You are the best community." Did you hear it brother? I said, "You are". I know it says, "Kuntum," but I think I know Arabic better than you. For the Qur'an you can say, "Kutum." It means yesterday, today and always. Yes, you were in Adam before, now you are in yourself. Now, and in the future, you will be that. This is timeless. This is a timeless creation, a timeless reality. It was in the beginning. It is now and it will be in the future as it was in the

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.13 of 17

beginning; no change comes over it. It is timeless.

Allah created Muhammed anew

And just as G d produced the first one in that type He produces the second one anytime He pleases. So He created Adam and He created Jesus Christ and He created Muhammed. He created Muhammed? Yes, He did. The Qur'an says "AT Rahmanu allamal Qur'an. Khalaqal ensaan. The Beneficent, Merciful G d, He taught the Qur'an to whom? To Muhammed. "Knalagal ensaan. He created the human person" Who? Muhammed; created him anew with a powerful intellect, powerful compassion, powerful qualities of character. He infused the word of G_d in there. He says to angels, "Now when I have inspired him of Myself" or "of My own Spirit bow down, make sajda to him." So the angels didn't bow to Adam when he just a human. But when G d put His Own Spirit into Adam the angels bowed down to him. The Spirit comes with the word. So when Allah put the word from Himself into Muhammed the angels made sajdah to Muhammed, praise be to Allah.

Now let us put it in our language. What is this Ummah? What is special about this ummah that G_d says He evolved? It is not ummah that is instantly made in a factory some place or on somebody's desk doing research or something. No, this is the best community evolved. It has been coming forth for thousands of years, for more than thousands of years, for thousands of generations. It has been coming forth even when the man was nothing but a sperm; before life was even a sperm, but the presence of life was in the earth, it was not a sperm yet this community was coming; evolving of nature and nature's property given by the G_d Who made nature, it was evolving. It evolved during the time of the first generations, during the time of the first man who tried to stand up erect and tried to be human and tried to ask his family to be human and wanted his neighbors to be human by each other. Way back there millions of years ago it was evolving. And now G_d has revealed it to you so you can take the responsibility in your own hands and establish this nation, this community life that is inherent, that is evolving with human life over a long period of time. Praise be to Allah.

So let's put it in our language. When Allah says that He is creating, making, He said to the angels, "Ennee". He didn't say, "Let us make man"; not in the Qur'an. That is in the Bible. He said to the angels, "Erne, surely I, jaa-

ilun alal arde khalefa, surely I am making, or, "forming upon the earth a khalifa". That is not an individual person. That is a social order. "I am forming upon the earth a social order hat will be trusted to human intelligence and human decency". So when G_d said that the angels were frightened. They said, "What will You create other than something that will cause blood shed?" And G_d said, "I know what you know not." G d is the best Knower. "I know My creation better than you know it. Certainly these human beings they have limits, they have human limitations and human defects, but My word is going to attract the best of them because My word appeals to best that is in My creation and it is going to draw out the best that is in them".

So satan seems that he understood that if the angels didn't. And he said, "Well, none will be spared but your special ones that You choose." That's what satan said, meaning, "I'm going to get the masses of them, the majority of them.. I'm going to mess them up. I'm going to bring out their weaknesses and show You that this was a mistake". This is satan talking to G_d, talking to his Lord. "Oh, Allah is not the Lord of satan?" Well, wasn't satan a jinn before he rebelled and aren't the jinnsa creation of G_d? And don't the jinn say to G_d, "My Lord?"

I speak to you all this way because I have been challenged by some of you. You won't do it until there arc no witnesses around. You make sure there is no other witnesses around but you, because you don't want to ever have to answer to the believers. So you wait until nobody is around. You have me all by myself then you start challenging what I say, what I teach and try to show me that you know more or better. Yes, I've had that. Look here. I put myself on the same level with you. You can challenge me at any time in the open. You don't have to wait until you get me in secrecy. I'm ready to face my shortcomings before all of the people. I'd rather be corrected than to keep going wrong. So please, don't worry about the security. I will say, "I invited the brother to do this. Please don't disturb him, don't bother him. Let's hear him out. Maybe he'll have something that's better for us. Who knows?"

"I'm making in the earth a khalifa

Getting back to where I was with this discussion. G_d says He's making in the earth a khalifa. Now, an individual ruler is he called kahalifa, or khalif? Khalif. If you say khalifa you're speaking of his reign, his rule not him personally. So G d doesn't say, "I'm making a khalif

in the earth". He said, "I'm making a Khalifa in the earth. I am forming a rule, a governmental order in the earth that is going to be supported by human excellence. And it won't work without My Own Spirit in it. But once I have put into it My Spirit then you make your sajda to it". "That's what He told the angels. So this is a divinely inspired republic (bringing the language to agree with our language). We don't want to speak our language. We don't have to keep saying khalifa. This is a divinely inspired republic.

Now, you students, if you don't know the meaning of a republic you should look it up. Republic didn't start with the West. Republic goes way back and people came in out of republics. They come to the concept, it works beautifully with them for a certain time in history; wild people, crazy people, people with a different mind, dictators get into power and the republic is gone. But in time the republic comes back just like human excellence comes back. Now should we look at the Republican Party? Yes. Look at it again and see how far it is right now from being a reflection of a true republic. You are talking about a party. I'm talking about the real deal.

If you study the nations of Islam right now some of them are republics even though they have a lot of trouble politically in terms of their political ideology. But they present themselves as republics.

Well, I don't know, some things I hesitate to say to you because even you who have good intentions, beautiful souls, beautiful people, you have good intentions but you are holding on to a spider web; and you think that is what is keeping you from falling. You won't let go of that spider web. So if I say something that will make you have to let go of the spider web you will just hold on to the spider web. And you think that spider web is holding you up. You are too big, too heavy. You're human. That spider web is not holding you up. You can let it go, you are not going to fall.

The closest ideology for authority over the people providing for them an ideology or a political ideology to govern their lives as a governmental order or a political order, the closest to what Allah planned in scripture before Qur'an and in Qur'an is what we find in the language of the founding fathers for this Constitution, in this society that we have. And I can prove it.

The royal family of Saudi Arabia they know that they have to make changes. It is slowly coming and the pressure is on them. The pressure is getting stronger and

stronger. They know they are going to have to give up that family rule of the people. That is un-Islamic. I love them, too, and I'm still a member of the Supreme Council of Masjids in Saudi. Arabia; just like I love our brothers from the Nation of Islam and be their frienduntil I die. I am going to die their friend, but I'm not pleased with the way their head is situated. "Oh, he's talking about Farrakhan." I didn't say his head. Their head, I'm not pleased with the way their head is situated. "Oh,"their head is Farrakhan." Not necessarily.

Farrakhan is here now and he will be gone like I will. But those brothers are already situated in their thinking. And Farrakhan is afraid to turn them around himself He is afraid there might be a terrible consequence if he tries to turn them around. Then he looks at what he's enjoying. Such is life.

The ideal society, the way it is supposed to be organized so that all of the members of it come under the one authority, the one and the same authority and it is fair and equally fair by all member; it isn't favoring one over the other. It should not favor one race over the other. It should not favor rich over the poor or poor over rich. Some of us would like to see the poor put over the rich. Now, I won't do that until the poor get rich.

We have to get our heads together. Allah has blessed us to come through an experience that in my understanding and in my knowledge was a divine intervention. Do you hear what I'm saying? A divine intervention to situateus to get where we are now under my leadership. And now the way is open and clear and the best of the people of the world they will respect the turn that I made. And the Christians, I met Pope John Paul II , a wonderful man, a great man, a great soul. I met him. 1 didn't know that was possible but I had to meet him. The desire was in me to meet him and do you know what my idea was? Qd was working with me and I did not even know it.

The name of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed was heard at the Vatican

My idea was if the son of Honorable Elijah 1VIuhammed...I couldn't go to Protestants, to the Baptist convention, but I thought there was a small chance that the Pope would accept me to visit him. I thought it all the time and when I heard that my friend Reverend Jessie Jackson he went there, visited and had an audience with the Pope, I said if the Pope received him he just might receive me. I said just might because I am the son of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed and 1 don't have any sheepskins. I don't have anything from them.

They can't contact any institution or school of theology, classes or anything. 1 have not been there. But, I said to myself "I believe there is a possibility".

So I put little something out there fishing to see what would happen. And nothing happened for a few years, and finally Abdul Malik Muhammed, my former partner, he had lived in Washington and Baltimore and he knew of Cardinal Keeler. So he said, "I think you can get the visit". So he went and talked to Cardinal Keeler, actually he is the bishop of Baltimore. He gave me an audience.

I told him exactly what I expressed to others and Abdul Malik was one of them. And he said "I think it can be arranged" and Cardinal Keeler arranged it. The okay was given for me to go and visit the Vatican and I visited the Vatican and I met with the Pope. I was invited back again and went with top leaders from around the country in the presence of the Pope while he sat there and I delivered a short speech very carefully worded, very carefully worded. And the name of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed was heard in the Vatican, in the Pope's ear and in the ears of those special leaders who had come

there from around the world, among them Muslim leaders too from the Islamic world. Yes, I gave my speech and sat down, went back to my seat and sat down. I said to myself, "If I can get a visit to the Vatican and be in the presence of the Pope we will be known all over world. And we will be known in the right picture because what I'm going to say in his presence is what I want to be heard all around the world; that we are a new people, a special people and the Honorable Elijah Mohammed had more than one feature". He had a feature that you saw and a feature that he revealed, or he shared with close friends like my brother, Imam Muhammad from Nashville, Tennessee. He was welcomed in my father's house as a blood brother of the Honorable Elijah Mohammed. He sat at his table, ate with him, laughed and talked with him. They had good times together. Not just minster business, they had human business together, praise be to Allah.

Allah made Muhammed for the whole universe

I said all that to say this, don't underestimate your value in the world of human beings, in the world of religious orders, religions. You arc like the pagan Arabs who have been converted from shirk or from paganism and you are not familiar with the Qur'an and you are not familiar with the Bible as scripture. You know Christianity. When you were Christian, you knew it by faith, not by knowledge, not by logic. So, you have to support me by

faith. Some of you come and listen to me and say, "Okay, are you finished, brother Imam? "Yes, I'm finished". "Well, that speech was the best talk you ever gave." How do you know? Do you have the knowledge and insight to give me an A, B, C, D, F or whatever? Give it up man. Turn back from that and follow me on faith".

When Allah gave Muhammed to that environment he was in he was not to stay there. Allah made Muhammed for the whole universe, for the world, all people, all nations, but he was immediately placed among the Arabs. And when he began speaking to them they could not understand much but they knew his character. They knew his truthfulness, his honesty. They knew his high human worth among them. They knew all that. So they followed him based upon what they knew of him as a wonderful, special person of excellence, on the highest level when it comes to character. They knew that.

But his knowledge they differed with him. Didn't they? That is what caused the problem. It was not his characterit was his knowledge that G_d gave him. When he started to speak that knowledge it interrupted their thinking and interrupted their way of life and everything, then they had a big problem with him. But the problem was not with him as a person.

And you all, I know you have little things to say about me too. "Well, I heard when he was a boy he used to go to dances." I still want to dance! But I wasn't a bad dancer. I wasn't indecent. I wasn't trying to take some woman to bed off of the dance floor. I knew how to leave her there or take her home and not touch her. I was human. I was a teenager and a human teenager. Did I like pretty girls? You bet I did! Did I like to hold them in my arms and dance? You bet I did! But you know looking back on my life after waking up and getting a higher understanding of what my behavior should be as

a creation of G_d, some of the things I prayed many times for Allah to forgive me for that. And I just stopped praying after a while. You know I said, "Gd has given me all of this help with the Qur'an; all of this help with Muhammed, the Prophet. He has given me all of this help and I am reaching people and goodness is growing, why should I ask him to forgive me. He has already forgiven me! He did more than forgive me. He forgave me and then showed me mercy".

The most beautiful nation is in the wilderness of North America

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.16 of 17

Page 20: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

I just want to say to you all in the words of Mr. Fard, "I can sit on top of the world and tell anyone that the most beautiful nation is in the wilderness of North America"! And believe me, that is not exaggerating a bit. I've

shared this with you all on many occasions. When I was as a young minister on Greenwood, that is where the temple was in Chicago, one day, I think it was a night when I gave this address at the Temple. I said, "We need to see our self as a new people on this planet earth". I said, "Yes, there are Africans, but they are no new people. They are in Africa. But we are not African anymore. We have been completely separated from that lifeline, so we are not African anymore". Now if we arc completely separated from our lifeline with Africa then we are a new people. And if we not comfortable with our existence as a people in this new circumstance on these Western shores in America then that tells me as a people, spirit-wise, customs, etc. we are not yet formed as we want to be formed. So actually we are a new people forming or trying to be formed in the United States of America.

I think that will be true of the Islands, also; wherever we are existing. I went down to South America and there are many of us in South America, in Brazil and the way they ran and greeted us when I was down there. Do you know what they said? It was years ago when Muhammed Aliwas still floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee. They saw us, they knew we were from the United States they came in a crowd it looked like of a 1000 youngsters or more. They started running towards us saying, "Ali, bumbaye. Ali, bumbaye". We could sec that they were so happy to see us; our people.

Now what is it that caused them to gravitate toward us like that? Is it that they have the same genes or the same ancestral life that we have? Not necessarily. In fact I do not that is what brought them to us in that spirit. What brought them to us in that spirit is that we are people of the same experience. Environment and what you experience that is what shapes your spirit. It leaves impression on your spirit. It forms your spirit. It forms your spirit in you all over again when you are subjected to a different environment and a different experience over a period of generations. So this is what formed the people. So we are a people of one spirit. The spirit determines your life. We are a people of one spirit.

Their spirit is that we are put down by world. Their spirit is that the world doesn't think that we are of the same human value that they are of; that our human value is less than theirs. That is their spirit. And we are social

rejects. That is what we were. And they were social rejects. And we were brought here to be slaves. They were brought there to be servants, indentured servants,or slaves, the same. And they look at their faces and say, "They are not one of us. You all stay to yourselves." The same thing was in South America that was here. And I don't care how much freedom we have been given and how good things look, on the whole most white people still have that same spirit when it comes to us.

Don't fear the criticism of the criticizers

They accept your rights, "But please stay toyourselves!" And that's exactly what we should domore so at this time than any other time in our history of thousands of years in Africa and America. Now is a time for us to stay to ourselves and build a model society; and answer G_d's invitation that He extended to the Islamic world, "Let there come out of you a community upholding the best of what I have revealed

and given to you in Muhammed and being afraid of the criticism of any criticizer!" That is Qur'an. You will be the ones that will be successful.

Well, I say the covenant has lost it bearers and we are picking it up. We are going to carry the covenant. Yes, we arc going to carry the covenant of G_d here in America and we are going to establish a people and a community inside of this Unites States of America that will be a witness, that will be a testimony, before all the nations of the world that a marvelous thing has been done by G_d here in the United States of America. And I am telling you that our model will have more power to convert the world to Islam than anything they ever had going for them other than Prophet Muhammed himself and the best of his followers at that time.

So don't doubt. You don't have enough insight. You don't have enough scholarly knowledge to test me with what you know. So please accept my faith in you and be like I am by you. I want you and I accept you on faith. I accept you because I have faith in you. Okay, you accept me because you have faith in me and don't let those so- called scholars and learned people who just don't want

to see anybody in America recognized as an authority for Islam but themselves. Now I'm not pointing at any ethnic group or race because all of them are like that.

The focus is on human life

So don't let them get into your head and mess your mind

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.17 of 17

Page 21: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

up and tempt you with theater garments and whatever, draw you into Alladin and his lamp time. Don't let that happen. Ali Baba and the 40 thieves, Alladin and his lamp, that is what I see when I look at a lot of you all, the way you act and the way you dress, and the way you make over a little soft tree stick called the miswak. Your sandals, your stage garments, I'm telling you...and it is not a regular theater. It's one that twists your head.

So don't let them play with us like that. Our Lord Who created us has made us very special and we don't want to the shame the high place that He has invited us to...

The focus is on human life, man in the universe, mind, human mind, in the universe. That is what we mean by man, mind, because man if you look it up in the dictionary it is plural. It means male and female not just males. When we say man and we say man in the focus that we have, this is religion, GA's revelation, we're talking about the plural body that is male and female. So man and the universe, that is what we're talking about and how Allah made the universe for the mind of human being to engage and in turn as we seek to know what the universe says to our human mind we get something to put or add to our perception of the universe and the things inside the universe. So this engagement is like the universe is alive, too. The universe is communicating to our mind and our mind is communicating to the concept that we see and the concept is growing. The universe is changing its picture. It is just growing. It is becoming a living thing with so many beautiful natures and beautiful identities that we never saw before because of our intelligence discovering these things. So it is an interaction. And then we take that knowledge and apply it to our circumstances down here in the neighborhood and that knowledge grows up the life of neighborhood. it makes the community more beautiful, more intelligent and more productive. This is what we want and this is what we are going to have. So this is where we are. And I am going to will dwell on human identify so much and for long you are going to think that human identity is Kabah. Thank you.

Imam Idris:

As Salaam Alaikum. This is paradise. The Imam wanted me to share something I brought from Charleston and it is related to something he said and have been saying to us over the years; that the greedy, entertainment world and crooked commercial world are planning to eliminate the masses of people that they have or they think or they created to be unproductive that have become a burden to bear; because when eyes start opening up they want to

get rid of you. So the Imam said down in Charleston that they planning, he may not be here, they are planning if we don't get out life together to eliminate us.

He said that on the 23 rd of September. The very next week a city councilman by the name of Larry Shirley said in the newspaper because some youth had stuck up a Hollywood Video Shop that produced the monster that they want to get rid of. He said that if these families or these mothers cannot take care of these children and raise them right we should do them like they do animals; spade them, get rid of them so that they can be unproductive.

So now please after we hear this that we are hearing now let's not just sit on it. When we go back to our cities let's work this because we should love our people and we know they have been put down and we should take thispowerful information that G_d has blessed us with and start working the community to deny satan the opportunity to just annihilate us. We have been through that. This is our rise now and we want all of our people, Christian, Israelite, whatever they call themselves, we want all of them to enjoy this. As Salaam Alaikum...

Imam WD Mohammad:

He's a very special person and the mayor of Charleston and the council there, the government, they have a lot of respect for him because they know that he is not working for selfish ends; that he is working for a cause that includes all human beings. They know him and they know he will stand up for what is right and that he actually during campaign time for the mayor accepted to be interviewed by a newspaper reporter and said of the ones in government power, seats of government, that

you can't depend on them. How are the slaves going to depend on Pharaoh? But he pointed to what was really happening in that city and how the majority of the non- Jews are not owning anything and arc not doing much of anything and how a few Jews are owning a lot. He pointed to it and he really didn't say the government is the blame. He said the fault is that you all won't take it into your own hands to change your condition, or as the Honorable Elijah Mohammed said to do for self. Don't depend on others, but do for self. The mayor obviously still supports him.

The interviewer wanted to use, in fact, he thought he had what he could use against the mayor. He got that together from our brother to turn the masses of the people against the mayor. But the mayor, I believe, is

10-13-2006 `Asr Session p.18 of 17

still supporting Brother Idris, to my knowledge. I know he is still supporting him. And he supports my visits there. I have been going there for several years attending their cultural event and the mayor's office takes care of my travel and my lodging, hotel, and travel. I don't have to pay anything. So it is wonderful. They appreciate him standing up as he does. And I thought the way he presented the picture of our people was powerful. He showed them as slaves of Pharaoh and they are waiting on Pharaoh to better their condition.

One other comment and I am going to be finished for today, en sha Allah. We were told in the Nation Of Islam under the Honorable Elijah Mohammed's leadership that Mr. Fard said that he had seventeen million keys; and the same Mr. Fard said that our population at that time was 17 million people. Now you know the record

doesn't show that, it shows much less like 9, 10 or 11 million at the most back then. But let's look at his language that he gave us. He said we number 17 million in the United States. Then he says he has 17 million keys. I heard the Honorable Elijah Mohammed say with his own mouth that he intends to get everyone of you. Isn't that what he used to say? You heard him, many of you that I'm looking at. You were back there and you sat in the Temple in the seat just like I did. I sat in audience until I started being a minister and I sat up on the rostrum. But many times even after I became a minister I sat in the audience with you because I was not the main minister. It was somebody else, Sheik Shabzz, or later Brother Yusuf Shah.

So I was in the audience like you and with you and we heard the Honorable Elijah Mohammed say, "We're going to get everyone of them." Now, that's my belief, that if we have something good it is for all our people. But should we wait for them to become Muslims? We're supposed to be helping them. We don't have to wait for them to become Muslims. The Honorable Elijah Mohammed built bakeries under his leadership we did it. He's a figure that we have to recognize who started everything. Bakeries, restaurants, clothing stores, printing press for the paper and all those things; thousands of acres of farmland and trucks to bring in the good etc., bringing watermelons, a big, big picture.

So he opened up jobs for non-Muslims, didn't He? And non-Muslims were working, not just Muslims. He provided jobs for them. We should do the same thing now. But we should be more serious about building the life of a community and the life of a people who need their community life built up. We should be more about

that than we are about looking at business and dollars coming in from business. And if we do that, if we are motivated by a desire to see community life and neighborhood life improved and made better and the quality of our families made better, if we are serious about that, that is the opening for business. Business will thrive and grow and money will be coming in. Don't worry about that. That's second to the most important. Do the most important. Have the spirit of the most important and that which comes second it will be so much until you will be shocked. You will amazed and say, "Wow!"

Yes. So let us get back to that mind that the Honorable Elijah Muhammed and his teacher wanted us to be in; that we are a hope. We want to be a hope for our people and an answer to their prayers, better conditions for allAfrican Americans coming as a result of our mission in these United States, better conditions for all African Americans. And we should not turn down anybody. Look at the human content as Dr. King said. Look at the human content and if the human content is there we have to give them all we've got. That's right.

So we're going to have some Caucasians, non-African American, some whites. We will have different people, some Spanish. We have them already. The Honorable Elijah Muhammed had them but their numbers will grow when they learn that we're working really for the human shrine, to establish the human shrine, sacredness of the human life. When they know that we're going that with a vision for community betterment, community progress, believe me, there are going to be more than just us coming. But don't think that you have to have them and don't be afraid of their presence. Some of us we only have the courage to give our enthusiasm and our support if it is all black. If we think we're going to have some members of others ethnic groups there we lose spirit. I said some of us, not all of us. But there are some of us like that. Don't feel that. There is nobody who can come in here...E.T. can't come in here like that and make us feel small. Nobody can come in here and make us feel small. I don't care who they arc or where they are from. They cannot come in this place and make us feel small.

So don't you be ashamed to work along beside them. Don't you be ashamed to use broken English in their presence. If that's all you have, you have to use something. They say Moses' tongue was tied, but G_d still chose him and he still did a marvelous work. Be like Moses, ask Gd to untie that knot in your tongue. Don't be satisfied with it. Moses asked G_d to untie that knot,

so you do the same.

Whatever you have that you think is holding you back or takes from your worth as a person ask Allah to help you with it but don't you stop your work. You come right on in there. Come on in there and get in the work field with us. Get in there and get your tools or whatever you can

do, pick it up. And if you studder in your speech we'll say, "Brother, don't worry about explaining it, you're doing good work". I'm serious. That is what we have to do. We cannot hold back. Be ashamed of nothing. Isn't that what Allah said for the special group, special community that should be born out of the broad Islamic community? "Let there come out of you a community;" that means out of the general community, a model community that will be a witness to G_d, that G_d hasrevealed the Qur'an and has chosen the model human being, Muhammed, the prayers and the peace be on him; and has gathered the people together upon their own human worth. A model community. And it says, "And do not fear the criticism of the criticizer." So you may say, "I don't know that Arabic." I hope you don't think that was Arabic I was teaching you. "Oh yeah, but you couldn't have that if you didn't know the Arabic."Look, I couldn't have the Arabic if I hadn't been prepared to have the mind and heart and spirit that I have.

Look at this reality. I hate to point to anybody, but we have members of this community who have gone overseas. We had a brother who became a Hafeeth over in Saudi Arabia, Madinah, I think. What are they producing? They have the Arabic. You need the spirit. You have to have the spirit, not for your own profession. That's secondary. You need the spirit for the cause and Allah will bless you. Thank you very much, As Salaamu Alaikum. Ramadan Mubarak.

Session # 3

Imam W. Deen Mohammed

With Allah's name, the Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer. The praise and the thanks is for God. We thank Him for the gift and blessing of the model human person Muhammed, the honorable and noble servant and Messenger of G_d and what follows of that salute or that traditional salutation to the last Prophet (pbuh), the seal of the Prophets mentioned in the Bible as it is given in the Qur'an.

Yesterday we were focused on the original life as planned by the Creator, Himself, Allah, God, Who made everything and He is still making everything. This is true if you have the insight to understand it. All that man is doing is only as an instrument of G_d. And just like a laborer will occasionally clean up his instruments, tool them again, G d will do the same for the human family. We are His instrument and G_d says, "Come willing or resisting." It matters not with G_d.

If you resist He knows how to make the resister contribute to His plan. If you agree then He rewards you generously and He does away with His servants anytime He pleases. And you cannot die until He, G_d, your Creator, permits it. So we think we have life and death in our hands. Never! We could not decide how we were going to come here, how we were going to be born and we cannot decide the time of our death; only the Creator decides that.

We are told in the scripture that Allah, our Lord Creator has the heavens and the earth, all the universe, in His one hand and the human existence in the other hand. And by "hand" it means controls. That is what it means in English, also. There is a phrase we say, "Will you handle that?" It means will you control that? Will you take that responsibility? So that is what it means with Gd.

There is no image of G_d. The Bible says make no picture of G d in the heavens and the earth. That iswhat the Bible, Old Testament, says. And you know they changed from that, because that's what the Old Testament says. In Islam it says, "La tadrekuhul afsaar." Gd says, "No sight can capture Him, no sight can reach Him, like a photograph of Him or something; no, not your sight, no instrument, nothing. "La tadrekuhul afsaar." But His vision captures everything. Everything is captured by His vision but no vision can catch Him. This is Qur'an.

Prophet Muhammed did not permit any image or drawings to be brought into the Kabah or any masjid where you pray, or make salat. That is why you won't find any pictures of anybody in the masjids now. We are conforming to what has been traditional for fourteen centuries and more. No pictures, why? Because man went through a stage in the history of his progress and development for community and cultural life that was called it the Romance Era where he fell in love with knowledge. He fell in love with his value as a thinker and as a creator, or producer of fine works. It had been going on even before that age we call the Romance Age. But when the Romance Age came then the artists were drawing a lot of pictures of human beings in one profession or another, or in one cultural field or another. Those that they loved because of their great

contributions from their intelligence to the society they made gods of some of them. They pictured them as gods, as deities. And I said it started long before the Romance Age, but it was during that time that it was really booming. Prophet Muhammed, when he came he addressed the practice of the ancient and mediaeval people at that time and forbade that Muslims have any images of men, humans, or animals in the worship service.

In fact, pictures of plants were permitted in art, but even animals were permitted for scientific research, etc. But it was not to come into the culture. That practice has prevailed until now and I'm sure it will prevail in the future and for all times to come for Muslims on this planet earth; because it has been established so clearly and so strongly by the Prophet. Even in your home, we don't want to take it too far and say you can't have pictures of your relatives, your babies and family in your home. But where you pray, you should have a room for salat and in that room you should not have any pictures or images that can be seen by the ones who are making

We are in the month of Ramadan, the month that is called the blessed month. Every Ramadan I enjoy more than at any other time the company of the believers. And I also experience blessings coming to me more than at any other time. And I am not talking about the gift I received yesterday of $ I 50 from my dear friend and sister who is like a close relative to me, from Detroit. She walked up and greeted me and she had money. I'm used to it and I said, "I'm doing well. I am doing real well in the month of Ramadan." I was letting her know that, "I know you don't like to see me with a dry, parched mouth, and can't eat and drink like I'd like to, but I'm okay. Now, I'm in good shape". But she said, "We want you to have this. This is not just from me. It is also from my son." Beautiful people, Muslims. I mean you all. I'm talking to all of you. You are a beautiful, wonderful people.

He love them like no other loves them

Good Christians when you arc around them they have the same nature, the same spirit and you feel this connection, this relationship of a heart to a heart, the believer's heart. You feel it with

them, too. When people are right in their faith, they believe there is a Superior over them that they cannot bribe but loves them and they know He loves them like no other loves them, with Divine love; that's G_d's love. When you are with them you forget they are not Muslim. You will be talking with them and socializing with them and you forget that they are not Muslim. That shows you that when we are in our innocence and in our purity that G_d created in the beginning, there is no identity but one; and that is the person of faith to the person of faith. I have experienced that with Jews and Christians. I have experienced that even with some people who are not even named in the Holy Book. That spiritual bonding is the best, not money, not sexual. It's not ego. Allah made us to be of one spirit. That is what it means when it says He created the man and then He gave man of His Own Spirit. G_d gave the man of His Own Spirit. And when we have that spirit of our first father called Adam that G_d gave...You know he did not have any children before he got that spirit. In fact he was not even Adam until he got that spirit. He was in the process of becoming a complete creature.

When we are in the form and spirit that Allah wants in us His angels are at our service

When G_d breathed the spirit into him then he was the man that G_d selected. And I guess that is why G_d told the angels to, "Wait until I have given him of My Spirit and then you make sajdah to him". That is only to tell us that when we are in the form and spirit that Allah wants us in His angels are at our service. Their existence is to support our life that G_d wants for us on this earth. One of the principles, articles of the faith or belief, is that we believe in the angels.

You cannot see what you don't have a mind to see

So your faith or belief is not complete until you believe in the angels. It does not mean that you accept that that's a principle in al Islam or an article of faith in Islam. It means more than that. It means that you accept that it is real. G d also has angels in His creation and those angels work for His plan, His will and they will also be working in your personal private life. I've experienced it myself. I am talking from knowledge not only from faith. In fact there is not a day in my life I do not have one or more angels making their presence known to me in

my life. When you are sensitive to these things then you recognize it. You cannot see what you do not have a mind to sec. If you do not have a mind to see it, it will be right in your presence, touching your eye balls and you won't even know it.

We gave our presentation for the first day of this Ramadan Session on yesterday, Jumah Day, which is the most blessed day in the year. Shouldn't you want to know why the Prophet Muhammed said of Jumah, Friday, it is the most blessed day of the year? Well, he told us why, too. He said Adam was created on that day. And he said no person dies and is resurrected except on that day, the day Adam was created on, And in the calendar of Muslims it is the sixth day.

For some reason I have always been a little superstitious, a little spooked up about Thursday. I don't know why. Prophet Muhammed was born on a Monday, upon him be the prayers and the peace. I was kind of superstitious about Thursday since I was a child. I will share this with you. If I really was attracted to a young girl and I'm talking about when I was younger than 14 years old. I think when I was 10 or 11 years of age. If I was really attracted to her and I had a chance to

see her on a Thursday I knew everything was going to be all right.

And it kind of stayed with me until now. If something happens on a Thursday to me I just feel everything is going to be all right. And I know I have been thirsting all my life...thurs-sting. That's been my life, thirsting and trying to find the right drink.

G_d takes over when you use His name

I said this in Nation Of Islam when I was a young minister, "If you really take G_d as your interest really strongly and you start living and doing things, telling people things in the name of G_d your rule is finished. You are not in charge of your affairs anymore. You think you are but G_d is overseeing it. And if you are wrong He's going to give you the results of your bad deeds, of your bad intentions and if you're right He is going to reward you tremendously".

Doesn't that sound reasonable? Nobody wants somebody going out doing things in their name without being accountable to them. You do not want anybody doing something in your name and are not accountable to you. If they don't have any conscience to recognize the obligation they have to you when they take up that position then you start planning to do something about it, right? G_d, too. G_d will do the same.

Getting back, now, the concentration of our Ramadan Session, yesterday, was on the original nature and on the original man, Adam. For this second part of the session our concentration, the topic, will be on the sanctuary as the main idea.

Kabah: The sanctuary is the whole area called haram

And the sanctuary for Muslims who can tell me what it is? The Kabah, that is the sanctuary. Look up the word sanctuary then understand the meaning of that precinct and you will see sanctuary falls under that term or that definition. The sanctuary now is that whole area that is called the Haram. It is not the area where you have to

change your clothes. If you are on an airplane or traveling, you have to stop and put on ihram. You have to be ready, clean and you have to put on your ihram, if you are not already in ihram. G_d says let there be no confronting each other with bad spirits whether it is anger or something else; no fighting each other; no arguing with each other in that area. You are supposed to restrain yourself and not be guilty of any of that kind of behavior. And there should be no killing of anything in

that area. You cannot even hunt during the time of Hajj. You cannot hunt an animal, not in that area.

That is why you sleep and scorpions are in the desert of Saudi Arabia. But you have to sleep at night and trust Allah that no scorpions will bite you when you are sleeping outside on the ground and exposed. Right? The feet are exposed, the hands, face, your whole body is exposed, really. And there is no problem for a scorpion or whatever to get into that ihram. And I have never heard anybody say or news has come to us while we were completing the rites of the Hajj that anyone was bitten by a scorpion; or somebody was harmed by some animal, or insect, or something. I have never heard it. It might have happened but I never heard it. And I know my devotion was so complete to fulfill the rites of Hajj and pleasing my Lord that I had no thought of anything harming me. I rested peacefully with no fear, no thought of anything harming me. And you know that's in the Bible that the believers who really believe in G_d and devote themselves to service for God, that they would be able to lie down with the animals, even scorpions, and not be harmed. Now that doesn't mean you have to go out and test it. You don't test what G_d says. Don't test G d's word. G d is the Tester. Let him have that business all by Himself. Don't you go testing His word, or we will find you in the morgue.

The sanctuary. I remember reading the Bible once and in this passage it said that the people were told by their religious leader to make their homes their sanctuaries. And the meaning that I gathered or that I got from the passage--I can't recall all the language right now. But the meaning I got from the language gave me a picture that the world for them had become so troublesome, so difficult to live their life, the life of their choice, their religious life, that they had to practice their life of loreligion in secrecy. And the high priest or the leaders could not serve them anymore because it was too dangerous. So they were told by their leader to make their homes their sanctuary.

The mosque is a sanctuary

Do you know the mosque is a sanctuary? Yes, and that is why the area, the most precious part of the Haram is the Masjidul Haram. It is called masjid. It is a masjid. So in any masjid, you should not have to come in there with a spirit to attack your brothers and sisters; not with spirit, not with words, and certainly not with your hands. You should come in there with a spirit just like you do in the

10-14-2006b p.3 of 17

Page 30: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

Hajj; a spirit to be in harmony with the spirit of the Muslims that Allah wants for us as Muslim and brothers and sisters of one another.

And do not allow your personal feelings or experiences that you had, or encounters that you had with each other cause you to lose that spirit of peace and harmony with your brothers and sisters when you come to the masjid. And I have seen some of us--we don't know--coming in there for trouble, walking in wanting to hurt somebody.

The sanctuary. It is a big sin to violate the sanctity of the sanctuary. It is a major sin. In fact, in Saudi Arabia they will actually cut your head off. They will kill you for starting trouble in the sanctuary. And they have permission to do it right there in the sanctuary. That is the only time they can do it. When somebody is an aggressor and has violated the sanctity of the sanctuary with weapons or something, then you are justified to kill them right there in the sanctuary.

Don't forget that we are continuing what we gave yesterday. Yesterday we talked about the original life. Today we are talking about the precinct, the place, the environment.

Eden is believed to be Adnan

In Arab tradition, culture, legend, an ancestor by the name of Adnan, they, in Saudi Arabia, especially those scholars and knowledgeable ones of their history and the history of Al Islam, say that Adnan was an ancestor and the word Eden is Adnan. The word that we know as the Garden of Eden, E.d.e.n, Eden, is Adnan. I tend to give some respect to that, what they say. I know one thing. If you read the Bible the Bible gives you pictures of land and connects it with nations and it gives you a picture of the beginning of the garden of paradise on earth.

Adnan in the history of the Arabs was an ancestor of theirs and like I say, those who have researched some or many of them believe the word Eden, in English, in the Bible is Adnan, their ancestor.

The Black Stone: The original man in his original nature.

And I will tell you something else that I know. Scholars in Islam, especially Pakistanis, I have had some discussion or exchanged words with them and they say that the Kabah is where Abraham and his son built the

house directed by G_d. That is what we should

remember, too. Abraham and his son built the house, but Abraham did not know how or where to start. And he called on G_d to show him where he should place the house. So it was with G_d's guidance, too, not just Abraham and his son building it. No, it was G_d's guidance to Abraham (and his son working with him) that brought the house to be built and completed there. And even the place, the sight for the house, Abraham asked G_d to show him where he should place it.

And we know how the story goes, that a falling star hit the earth. We say falling star, but actually it means a fragment from the heavens, like a small meteorite, hit the earth and when it hit the earth he took that as G_d's answer to him that this is where you should build the house. And the story goes like this. The object, when it cooled off, it was a black stone. So the Hajrul Aswad, the stone that's black, the description is reversed like in Spanish. In Spanish you do not say, 'beautiful baby,'

you say, 'baby beautiful'; and it is like that for most of those languages in that family such as the Italian language. For the Arabs it is the same and for some other language it is the same. The description comes after, not before. The term 'Hajru.1 Aswad' means, "Stone Black", but we say in English, Black Stone. It sounds funny if you say stone black. That means you can't speak English. We take it that you are a foreigner and you just got here and you cannot speak English.

The stone that the builders rejected became the corner

So the stone marked the spot. How are we to connect this? You think that is just a stone falling? That's primitive stuff to believe that. No, the stone is in scripture and it was in scripture before. Yes, the stone that the builders rejected became the corner. That is not in the Qur'an. That is in the language of the people of the Book long before the Qur'an. The stone that the builders rejected became the corner. Isn't that something, brother? We used to think it was us, right? More than the builders rejected us! The people that didn't even have any jobs rejected us.

The Black Stone is a symbol of original man in his original nature

No, the view here that we should be having before our eyes is the great works of the nations on this planet earth. They are the builders. Those who established

10-14-2006b p.4 of 17

Page 31: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

nations, and established cities, industry and all of the things that make a great people a government, or society, they are the ones who rejected what that black stone is a sign of. And yesterday we made it clear what we were talking about. The black stone is a sign, is a symbol of original man in his original nature. His original nature is not to show off his light. They went to heaven showing off their light and G_d had to show them they did not know everything. He said, "If you know tell Me the names. Tell Me your own names." Isn't that what He said in the Qur'an? He said, "If you know tell me your own names". And they admitted that they had no knowledge except what they got from G_d.

Then G_d addressed the man that He was making or forming in the earth. He said, "Adam, tell them their names." And when Adam told them their names they all submitted except Iblis, the proud egg; proud and defiant ego. "Abaa wastakbara.." He resisted, refused to do what G_d asked him to do and was puffed up in pride. Isn't that nature in some of us? You want it to be relevant? Then don't look where you cannot see it and do not know what is happening. Look at yourself and each

other where it's happening all of the time. There is some arrogant spirit all the time defying the will of G_d down here.

When a picture is given of the beginning it is to show you what is happening to you, now

He said, "Abaa wastakbara," and became one of the disbelievers, one of the rejecters of faith. That was Iblis. So Iblis is really the first to reject faith. Now this is before man was established in the earth, right? He resisted and refused to obey G d and was puffed up in pride. He became bigoted and became one of rejecters of faith. So satan is the beginning of rejecting faith in G_d. This is before the whisper to the man in the garden. So he was a disbeliever and he wanted to make the man a disbeliever. Our first father, Adam, be wanted to make him a disbeliever. Now stop thinking in the past. When a picture is given to you of the beginning it is to show you what is happening to you, now.

In Judaism there is no satan or Jesus Christ

Iblis is the satan because after he did that then he brought upon himself the curse and he was given the name shaytan, or satan, in the Bible. Then, he was given the name, adversary, the one going against the plan of G_d. But understand, only in Christianity and Islam is he

the adversary of G_d. In Judaism he is not existing at all. No, in Judaism there is no devil. There is no concept of satan or shaytan in Judaism. But, hold on. I want to let you know that I have some dear brothers in faith who are Jews; dear brothers and sisters in faith that are Jews. I just want to check that before we continue.

Also in Judaism there is no Jesus Christ. Do you hear that? There is not Jesus Christ in Judaism and no Satan. I am not going to leave it like that. A small number of them who are high up in knowledge and sciences, they will not acknowledge any Jesus Christ because they believe they are the only begotten sons of God; and notonly that. They will not acknowledge Satan because they believe that they have the right to punish and send to hell anybody who defies their order. So they do not look outside for satan. Satan is the boss in hell, isn't he? That is what I thought that the Christians say. Well, we had better get away from that territory right away. We'd better leave that scene, quickly, and get back to where we were.

Do you know what the Bible says that Jesus said? Jesus, speaking to Jews who were giving him trouble: "I beheld your father fall from heaven like lightning. He aboded not in truth. He was a liar and a murderer from the beginning. When he speaks a lie it's his own lie. Nobody gave it to him. And the works of your father you will do." Now I just gave the Bible that they put in mouth of Prophet Jesus, upon him be peace, the Christ Jesus.

For Christianity to survive there has to be real major changes

I just gave it to you and it is still in the Bible like that. Don't you know that is a big problem for the peace and .

harmony of religion on this planet earth with them making such accusations? I say, "them". Allah did not put that in their Bible. With them making such an accusation like that against a whole people, it makes it very hard for us to come to a table of dialogue and work for peace, harmony and cooperation among us, among the religions. Let me tell you something. One priest, this has been maybe a year ago, he recently got in the news and if he got in the news that tells us a lot. He was in the news for saying that if Christianity is to survive there has to be some real, major changes made. That is what a Christian priest said and I agree.

Never are all of any people bad. There are bad ones among them. That's life. There are always bad ones among every people. Every people, there are bad ones among them. And it so happens that some of these bad people manage to get insight into matters that give them knowledge that they can use over the heads of people to control them and become their masters, if G_d doesn't save the people. And those who are very notorious and pointed to in scripture, like with Jesus' words, as beings the satan themselves, they were able to do that. But it did not just start with the Bible.

Idol worshipers, pagans were not uneducated

In the religion of the Greeks before they converted to Christianity or other religions, they were what we would call pagan or idol worshipers. We should get away from the idea, the thinking, that just because people worshipped idols, or had idols that means they were barbaric or savage, ignorant, uneducated, not scientific. No, we have to get away from that. That's not true. People have had the sciences and education, all of that, in the mediaeval age, in ancient times going way back, farther than we can record. Their language was different and how they presented it was different but they had science. This material universe yields up knowledge and science to whoever engages it. And that has existed since man has been on this planet earth with his intelligence and his curiosities.

Revelation gave man his purpose in Qd's creation

No, they had great civilization. They had great science. They had cultural beauty and everything; ancient nations. But their language was different and they had not been enlightened as to the purpose for their creation, human creation, on this planet earth, or in this universe. That is what they were missing. That only came by revelation from God. Then, man was able to understand his purpose and place in G_d's creation and how he is to perform as a creation of God, or servant of G_d. That came later. But it does not mean that they did not have advanced cultures and advanced civilization. They did. And they even had advanced knowledge of human excellence.

Human society had to find and understand the nature in its purity that G_d made

That is why in the Qur'an Allah recognized that. That's why in the Qur'an, Allah, Most High, He says this

religion is the religion of origin; the origin upon which

patterned the faith, the religion. "Deeni haneefa fitratil laahil latee fataran naasa `alayha, the origin upon which human society was formed or originated". Human society was originated upon an original pattern. That original pattern is a pattern made by God; the origin. So society could not even advance because it didnot have revelation from G_d. But in order for society to advance it had to be able to find, or see and understand the nature in its purity that Gci made; or, if they did not believe in a Creator, that they discovered. Then they could pattern their society upon that original pattern so that the original pattern lives and finds expression in their culture or in their life and knowledge. That is what Allah is telling us, not me. He is telling us with His words in the Qur'an.

So Allah is saying, "Nations before My revelation formed, developed, and made progress. But, they did not do it without discovering and recognizing the original design in creation for the human life to be established and prosper". So it says the religion of Qur'an is that religion. "been al-fitratul latee, the religion of origin" which, fataran naasi `alayha, the human society was patterned upon". That means all societies, all nations. In some degree even the primitive society is responding to the original pattern that G d made. There is no other way for them to respond except to respond to that original pattern. Man cannot create himself or create himself over and reject the original creation. He has to work with what he has, his original creation. And the more he respects the beauty and excellence of that original creation the more he will prosper.

The sanctuary: There is a sign there of the original life

We are on the concept, "sanctuary", and we first brought our attention to the sanctuary for the Hajjis; and there is a sign there of the original life G_d gave us when He made the universe or the creation. And we have the house there. The house is called Kabah and our Qibla is detennined by the location of the Kabah. The house itself has a precious stone called the black stone and the black stone was put into the corner with the hands of the Prophet, himself.

Some chiefs of Mecca decided that they were going to restore the house. The house was in bad repair and Arab history says there was a great flood in that area. I don't know where it came from, but they say there was a great

10-14-2006b p.6 of 17

flood in that area and it damaged the Kabah. I know where the flood is here but I don't know about there. I know we are flooded out.

Aquarius symbolic of a moral flood

It started with the time way back there in the 1950's or early 1960's when the song got to be real popular called "The Age of Aquarius." It went, "This is the age of Aquarius." Great flooding was beginning and it continued, it built up and drowned out as many as it could in the 1960's. And it continued in the 1970's, the 1980's and by the 1990's there was no more water, just fire. It went from one extreme to another and started burning us up with sexual lust and insane passions. The orchestrator is the ratan, himself. This is not a mystery. In the Qur'an it says, "An naarul haqq, the hell fire is real." It is plain language. It is no superstition. It is not mystery. It is reality!

The house is called al Bait and it is also called Kabah; and because of the location of the house that place where it is in Mecca, that location is Qibla. Qibla means orientation for direction. Qiblah means you look to, you turn there to that place for direction. So if it is on a map and you look at the United States and whatever is between the United States and Arabia and then you look at the border from where we enter Arabia to that location, then that location is the direction.

Seraatal mustaqeemis a concept for the thinker, philosopher, scientist

You know sight, vision, is broad because the lens captures a broad space. But, light travels in a straight line. And since light travels in a straight line vision also travels in a straight line. When I look at an object whether it is your face or that camera, I don't have to make my sight go straight. Automatically it goes straight. It goes straight to the mark, no curves. "Seraatal mustaqeem". That brings me to say seraatal mustaqeem is not just moral, spiritual, being upright as a decent person. Seraatal mustaqeem is a concept also for the thinker, for the philosopher, for the scientist. If you are going to use G_d's light and use your eyes and your sight, your vision, then respect what G_d has created. "My light travel, in a straight line why do you make it crooked? I have created your vision and it goes in a straight line. Now why do you make it crooked?"

And they're always talking about signs. There are signs everywhere. The people were told about the signs of

G d in creation and how the ignorant masses or the large numbers of people have no awareness of it at all. They go along absent-minded, heedlessly paying no attention to the signs of G_d. But that few who have patterned their societies, their productions and their creation or whatever, upon the original science that they found in the creation of God, they can be challenged upon the basis of their own establishment, their own logic, theirown thinking, their own works. You say, "Why have you followed logic to this point and then stop using it when G_d speaks to you? Now your logic is working, showing consistency, not confusion and contradictions. But as soon as G_d comes in the picture now your logic goes crazy. Your logic is gone. Now you are saying that light travels crooked. No, it's not crooked. It's straight". So they give us a crooked knowledge to take us away from our G_d, the true G_d, Creator of everything.

Kabah means vital connections

The house itself, the bait, al-bait, is called Kabah. It is important to understand when you say house that is not enough. When you say home that is not enough. But when you say Kabah, now, that is where the knowledge is for identifying that house and knowing what that house means in our lives. It is given in the term"Kabah". Kabah means, "vital connections that are necessary and important". Without these connections you do not have the house. Vital, most important connections, that's what Kabah means. So theconnection for our home life begins with Adam having a mate, or begins with Brother Sharif having a wife, Sister Salimah. Don't look for them, I'm forming them as 1 go. And like the movies when they show you theacknowledgment, they say, "Any connection with a person is just a coincidence."

Isn't that the history of the Genesis and isn't that the history of the beginning of mankind in Islam, too, that G_d made a male and then He made of the male a female? So if He made of the male a female He made them both of the same essence. He made a male first and then He made a female. Now, don't think anymore of a flesh man and a flesh woman. That's okay in kindergarten for Muslims. That's okay to have that idea. But you who are students, you are now listening to a student and we want to have knowledge, not just stories. So it starts with a mate; a husband and a wife, a male and a female coming together. That is the only way we can extend and populate the earth with people. We cannot extend our life or populate the earth with people

unless we mate with one another. Males and female have to mate.

I said do not think of flesh right now. Think of community. From the beginning on this earth we are talking about community. Science, the secular world will give us history and theory of how man formed on the earth and progressed. Religion is not giving us a picture of flesh population. It is giving us a picture of community development and how the establishment of community life was designed into our very creation by G_d. And that it is natural heritage, inheritance, of everyone of us, to have and support community life.

Man, animals have knowledge in their genes

The bird comes here and knows when it is time to have baby birds, knows to start getting the straws and whatever, to make a home for the babies; and it knows how to make its home. No man taught the bird to make its home round and make it of this particular straw or soft dry stuff. The bird knows that by virtue of its own creation. Its own life knows that. Its life as it came into existence knows that. So it will know what to do when time comes and it does it.

It is the same for humans. You don't have to teach a baby to crawl. It is going to crawl. We give them help but you don't have to teach it to walk. It is going to walk because it sees you walking. You are not an English teacher but the baby learns to speak your language just by listening to you. So these are great developments. This is nothing to push aside like it's nothing. No, that's the beginning of life. And it is clocked into our very composition as flesh, as people and it expresses itself automatically inside when the time comes. When the situation presents itself the light responds to the situation and it does what G d has designed for it to do.

Family life evolves naturally but is now threatened

And don't you know if we just depended on nothing but that original life right now, if African American people depended on nothing but that original life we'd be better off than we are right now; because at least we would learn to walk. We would come here ready to crawl, to walk and we would come here ready and know how to love one another and be family. G_d clocked all that into our creation, into our nature. Into our very flesh He put that. But the world deceives us and then we lose the original life. We lose the interest to be nice and loving to

each other, to have a spirit to be family not causing

problems for each other, but working together in unity, as a unit. And your education, your schooling, the academic world tells you that family is the first unit of society. And that is what we have lost, family. Not just African Americans now or blacks, this big problem has taken over all people and all religions. Yes, all the religious people are suffering from the corruption of the family

So man comes here without education, without science and industry. Man comes here knowing how to establish his life just like the birds know how to establish theirs; just like the bees know how to establish theirs; just like the other creatures know how to establish theirs that are not human. Man comes here with the ability to establish his own social pattern and it begins with family for community life. Family is a small community. That is what family is, a small community.

If you stay in touch with your relatives then family becomes a big community. Tribes become so big they are almost like a nation--just one tribe. In fact, when you read the history of the people of the Book their tribes became nations.

Scripture is not addressing flesh creation, but how community life is born

I have to say again, because I think many of you missed the most important thing I am saying, from the beginning the scripture is not addressing flesh creation. It is addressing our community life, how community life is born. So when it says male and female where is the male? The male is the brain. Why is he the brain? Because the male has to go out and hunt. The male has to go out and risk his life in the wild environment for the beginning of family life. He has to risk his life out there. He has to discover things that he needs at home for his wife. And he relates to her to know what he should be looking for out there in the field or in the wilderness. She lets him know, "Honey, we're going to need something to sit on. This ground is cold and hard, baby.

We need something to sleep on and we don't know when the wind and rain is going to come on us. We need a wall built up and we need a cover for our heads."

The wife is the one who gives the requisition

So she is the one who gives the requisition. She makes the request and gives the bill. "Go out and get it, baby".

10-14-2006b p.8 of 17

And if he is a natural man in the original pattern made by our Creator he goes out there and gets it. He doesn't tell her, "I don't have job." That original woman will say to him, "And you have no wife! Don't you know my original nature calls for a man? What is this speaking to me? You arc worst off than a baby." We have to make it relevant don't we? Don't leave it up in the sky. Bring it down here where the real deal is.

The new wife

So he goes out and he brings her these things and pretty soon the family gets big. You have somebody next door, down the road belonging to the family needing the same thing. And this development grows and after a whilethey call it a town. They call it community. "This is our community, our town." When a town is established, when the community life is established where those private people have a public that they are responsible for, that public whether we call it town, city, village or whatever, that's wife. That's the new wife. That is the most important wife. And the men who put their heads together and I'm sure sometimes women get into the work, too, whoever was responsible for building that community life up is the husband; that's scripture, the husbandman; in the Bible, the husbandman. And I think they have a profession called husbandry, taking care of animals and plants. An animal can't survive or exist without some plants. You better have some plants if you have animals, unless they are carnivorous and eat no plants. But then you still have to have plants. There is no way to not have plants. So, the language is there to support what I am bringing home to you. That is what I'm showing you.

So, occasionally, you see me go to the language of the world, right? That's to show you that to prove that this is the right picture that I'm presenting to you, I go and find evidence of this being in the history of man's life and growth on this planet earth. It is still in his language. If I was speaking to the leaders in the Vatican I could have said everything I said to you in about 10 minutes. Don't think we are the only ones who know things. Among all people there are those who know something about what I'm bringing to you right now; maybe not in the exact language that I'm giving to you. But they have been given the concepts, the ideas. They have the concepts but it is us who have to be given this for the first time and educated in this knowledge, because they are not going to share it. They think it is supposed to be kept secret and they are wrong.

Muslim leaders fail because they're deceived into using the strategies of the Christians and Jews

Muhammed came and G.11 sent him into world to show them that they were wrong and in time the followers of Muhammed with the knowledge, the sciences, they got the seeds. Why is it our religious leaders of Islam cannot perform as the original followers of Muhammed performed under his leadership? Why can't they do that anymore? It is because they have been deceived. They have been deceived by their minds to take up the strategies of the Christians and the Jews; compete with them; rejecting them; condemning them; but being influenced without them even knowing it, to use their strategies.

The daalleen did not stray intentionally

That wasn't Jesus Christ. That is why the Christians and the followers of Jesus Christ are ones who strayed. They missed what they should have been all about. They are the daalleen in the Qur'an. They are not the only daalleen: now. But that word is more descriptive of the Christian world, not Christian leadership necessarily. It is more descriptive of the Christian world than it is of any other people or religion. The dalleen means you did not do it intentionally. You strayed because of ignorance or lack of, or missing the right direction. After all, Muhammed, the Prophet, was of the daalleen. It says, "We found you straying and we guided you"; Muhammed, himself.

We are going well and I'm comfortable. Now, this is from Qur'an but Allah says do not rush with the Qur'an. I know you've read it. If you are reading in the month of Ramadan, you've read it, already. "Do not rush with the Qur'an!" So, I don't like to rush with this discussion I give you. I'm not preaching to make you shout. I'm not talking to make you go out of your mind. I'm talking to have you think and to think you need to not go so fast. So I'm not rushing you. I could, but you need time for it to soak in. What is the best rain according to the Qur'an? It's that rain that comes steadily, but slowly and in light quantities. That's that best rain in the Qur'an.

The sanctuary. I already mentioned that the people of Book were told to make their homes their sanctuary because the world was too difficult for the life they wanted to live and establish. They would be seen practicing and somebody would be planning to destroy

their life. So you practice at home in privacy then they are not aware of what you have as your life. When you come out in the public they just see you going about their streets and getting into the place they made for you, shopping at their businesses or whatever. They don't know at home you have an entirely different world. Don't you know it's almost like that now for us?

Everybody says, "We are going to have our 4Eid in the park." With all this talk about terrorists you are taking a great risk. So stop being weak. Get your head together with each other. Put your heads together. Sell some bean pies like the Nation of Islam has, or something. Have a cake bake or whatever. Sell something like Ragged Ann Cookies. Go out there on the street and sell some Ragged Ann Cookies and be sure you have a month or so before Tid day so you will have enough money to rent a facility if you don't have one. Rent a facility and have the people protected by walls from this corrupt, crazy world where they can enjoy the `Eid inside. That is where bums go at night, to the park and other places. They don't have a home until the police come by, catch them and tell them that they have to move on. Isn't that something? A man who does not have a home the police will run him out of the park; won't even let the man sleep on the ground. I guess you have to do that to keep civilization moving.

Adam is an individual and community type

The concept is always community. So Adam is a single person and Adam is also a type. He is a picture or type of the community life in his one picture, because the original life Gid made us to have is established in Adam. His soul, his spirit, his intelligence, if he is trulyAdam, then all of that is working as his Creator designed it to work. The way he relates to his wife, the way he relates to his responsibility as a husband or the head of the family all that is in accord with G_d's plan for human life if he is truly Adam. But you know the satan seduced Adam and caused Adam and his wife in the language of the Qur'an to come out of the original clothing or original dress that G_d put them in.

It is not the kind of clothing that come immediately to mind. G_d makes it clear to us what kind of clothing it is. It is the clothing of righteousness; righteousness for the soul, righteous for the spirit, righteousness for the mind, righteousness for your purposes, etc.; a complete, righteous life. So the satan seduced our first parents to come out of the original life of righteousness that Gd.

put us in naturally and Muhammed is proof of that. He lived among idol worshipers, among pagans who were doing shameless things in the public. Some of you I think you know of the history. You could be traveling on the road and you could see a person urinating and even doing worst than that, i.e., having sex right in the view of the public. That was the condition of those people back then. Not all of them, but many of them were like that. It was called the time of Jahiliyyah, the time of ignorance. That is what Muhammed was born in.

Jesus and Mohammed are seen together in their purpose

Jesus Christ as a sign points to Muhammed. One as a sign points to the original life that we need in order to prosper on this earth, the plan for life from God, from Creator, that is in us when we are born. Jesus is a sign pointing to that, pointing to the Kabah because that is a symbol, a sign of what I'm talking about. The Kabah is nothing but a symbol or a sign of what we are talking about, the original life and the original life pattern.

Jesus Christ is the sign, Muhammed is the guide

So Muhammed, now, is not a sign pointing to that. Muhammed is the teacher leading us to that. One is a sign. Christ Jesus is the sign, Muhammed, the guide, the leader guiding us to that. And he himself, like Jesus Christ, was already constituted in that as perfectly as Adam was constituted when G d first made him. Do you know what I'm saying? Praise be to Allah. So Muhammed, the Prophet, said there will come a time when the people, the world will see me and Jesus together, agreeing in their purpose not disagreeing.

Imam W. Deen Mohammed is a child of our woman

And I thank Allah, I thank God, the son of Elijah Muhammed has found it and seen it and understands it clearly and knows that the knowledge has come into our hands now. What comes into my hands comes into your hands. You can't say that if it comes into another people's hand. Can you say that? If this had come into a people other than you can you say that, "Well, it came into their hands and now it's in our hands." No. I am a product of your woman. See how we can talk now? I am a child of your woman. Your mother and my mother are the same. It came into my hands and it is in your hands.

So in concluding this part, we have Dhur Prayer later and after Dhur Prayer we will resume the session righthere. In the Qur'an, angels are mentioned by the name of Hann and Marut and the people of the Book before the time of Jesus Christ, peace be upon the servants of God and after I would say, too; but mainly before the time of Jesus. During the time of the great, glorious days for Jewish people in the time of Solomon, the wise, the great king, on him be peace, it is said in the Qur'an that they were taught certain magic by the two angels, Harut and Marut.

And with this magic, which means mysterious science; really there is no word that actually is magic. The translator was trying to convey the idea to the readers in English. I don't have a problem with that. That is why we need to discuss these things. We need commentary. So, any way, Allah revealed to Muhammed that the angels showed them how to affect the relationship of husband and wife with the knowledge. But Allah revealed to Muhammed that they never shared that knowledge with those special leaders before telling them that this is a trial and do not become disbelievers. And that such knowledge is dangerous in hands of fools. They were warned, weren't they? That is what Allah says in the Qur'an. They were warned before they were given the knowledge.

Kabah points to family

Going back to word Kabah; Kabah is a sign, or symbol that wants us to gravitate, see with our vision, let our sights gravitate to the origin of family, community life. And understand that this symbol or sign called Kabah or the first house built for mankind is a house that can only be erected and can only stand if certain connections are respected; if certain relationships are held sacred, respected and supported.

Marriage relationship should not be based on sex

The relationship of man to wife or husband to wife is not sexual, but the sex is a necessary element, that's all. That relationship should never be based upon sex. Even the lower animals do not base their sexual relationship upon sexual pleasure. They have that pleasure and realize that now the product of that action, or that intercourse, the product of it is now in the female and she changes her behavior and gets serious about being a mother even before the baby comes. This is for animals. And when the baby comes already she is devoted to the life of that

baby. So the purpose of mating is to extend life, to keep life existing and to care for life so that after the present ones are gone the life continues in the best form. So this is devotion to community life, isn't it?

The sexual act should be devotion to community life

Your sexual act should be devotion to community life. This is naturally in men before the world of commercialism spoils them. This is natural in men and natural in women. They see a wife as a future. The natural man in his original nature he sees the wife as the future. The wife sees the husband as the future. They look to family, to having babies and having more company than just one or two people. They look to a growing future of family and organization of people loving and working with one another and supporting each other's family life and extending the productivity and the excellence of the life. That's what they see and that's what community should be.

Sex: a beautiful flower with pollen

And when we take sex for nothing but sex we are less than animals. If that is what your wife is to you, your sex thing, you are less than an animal, my brother. 1 never had it in my spirit to see sex as just sex and a dirty thing. 1 always had it in my spirit. Do you know what sex was to me? A beautiful flower with pollen. It looks nice and smells nice and it mixes with the pollen from another, the opposite life, and it reproduces; and when it reproduces, you get fruit. Here, the plant has been transformed. It is no more just a plant bearing leaves and flowers. Now it is a plant bearing fruit, i.e., the Fruit of Islam. Look at yourself, Brother Fruit. Is your production sweet smelling? Is your production tasty and giving us energy to do our work to keep moving and doing things? You call yourself the Fruit of Islam. You'd better think about that. You have to do more than sell bean pies. I'm serious. I love you, my brother. You have to do more than sell bean pies and wear bow tics.

"Corruption has spread over the land and sea"

I think I'll write me a song, "Bean pies and bow ties, until the sunrise". Now don't think I'm making fun of my brother. I am not. The Qur'an is addressing something that is the main cause for the corruption of society and the world. We have people who have gotten science from the revelation of Q__cl and they are using that science to corrupt the relationship of man and wife

because G_d put it in the nature already to balance upon

10-14-2006b p.11 of 17

two balls. All of us are going down the street upon two balls, the ankles. The wise a long time ago looked into the design of the human body and they extracted the knowledge; and then they said the main life is spiritual and to establish yourself you need to be spiritually awakened.

Jesus' picture holds spiritual science

Now in the church you hear this and you think it means feeling. It is much more than feeling. This is science. The higher ups they know the science from Jesus Christ as a human figure. So they got light and science. That's what has been communicated to them out of the physical picture of Jesus Christ, great spiritual sciences. And we have gotten it from Muhammed, directly from revelation that he has given us. It is in the context of the Qur'an, great spiritual sciences. Now, these great spiritual sciences for managing human life, protecting and preserving human life in the original excellence and beauty that G_d wants for us and progressing it, these sciences are still in the Qur'an. They are there, but the secular world took from the Bible, from other religions; but mainly from the Bible and the Qur'an. The Qur'an was the last big boost for the scientific world that we are in right now.

Freud is really a fraud

The Qur'an was the last big boost for that world coming from God, the revelation coming from G_d. They took it and they established psychoanalysis. Freud is really a fraud. The father of psychoanalysis, called Sigmund Freud, he is a dog. Sigmund, "Sic them, man;" and he's a phony, Sigman Fraud. Oh, I tell you they gave him the name. It's clear as day. They never thought a fool, a donkey, would peep their hold cards, but it did. That is what they call us. They think we all are donkeys.

Prometheus stole the heavenly fire

Yes, Sigmund Freud took psychoanalysis and from psychoanalysis, finally, clinical psychiatry. All of this has developed in time. And where did they get it? From G d. Did this happen for the first time in Western civilization? No, the Greeks said that Prometheus, a rebel among the elite, stole the fire from heaven and this world wants us to think the Greeks, "They were philosophers, but they were not religious. They didn't believe in God". That is a lie! They had a strong religion. They had a great religion and they focused on Adam in his original pattern. That's what they focused on. And that is

how they were able to form a great republic and guide their descendants from Europe to science and philosophy and all the other great benefits they've had.

But they went to sleep and lost all of that and it was the Qur'an and Muhammed that reawakened their minds and showed them how they were even to perceive or understand their ancient knowledge; and it caused them to have a revival and that is what we are seeing right now. We are in their world now. They had a great revival and we are in their world. That would not have been possible for them if it was not for the coming of the Qur'an and the life of Prophet Muhammed as the leader of mankind.

Prometheus stole the heavenly fire

So Prometheus stole the heavenly fire. That means he disagreed with those who were agreeing to keep it in accord with the best nature that G_d made and he used it as a tool, an instrument for taking over the life of human beings. He wanted to become their master, their god. Isn't that what the scripture says will happen to the world? Now this is not Greet philosophy. Now I'm going into the Bible. The scripture, Bible, says, "Rejoice not whole Palestine, for out of the serpent's root shall come a flying cockatrice." And also it says that, "That old serpent became a flying serpent." Yes, and it also says that Lucifer, the satan, the devil, that fell from heaven, he aspired to rise up on the air. I'm putting it together and. I can put it together, quick. Now that G_d has shown me these things I don't need to go all over the Bible for it. So I bring the things that are connected and I bring them to you right away.

Satan will rise up upon the air

It says he will rise up upon the air. What is the air? Is the air this air? No, although he did that, too. Well, he didn't do it but his scientists in the West under his influence, under his spell, they were able to be scientific and got an airplane up there and they are flying in the air and everything. In fact, they are moving about in space that has no air, in airless space. They just shoot straight through airless space and land on the moon.

Controlling you from a space station in your soul

Getting back to the real thing, it says he will rise upon the air, become a prince of the air; not this air, your spirit, human spirit. He will rise upon human spirit. After he remakes your spirit, reforms your spirit, then he

10-14-2006b p.12 of 17

knows how to ride that spirit that he made. He will ride upon that spirit and ascend above your head and be working on you from afar, controlling you from a space station in your soul. But he's not through.

The control is completely out of the original hands of the original man

The Bible says that his aim is to go up high enough so he will reache the throne, the very seat of G_d and sit on it performing as though he is God! Yeah, well that's what has happened. He has taken over the abstract life. That's the most precious life. Our most precious life is not our flesh, bones, and all this physical stuff. Our most precious life is our conscience and how our intelligence develops inside of it. That is the most precious life. And if he can take over our psyche, our intelligence activity

in our soul, our psyche; if he can take over that and manage it without our knowing that he has infiltrated or that he has invaded our own life, he has taken over our control. He has us thinking we are controlling our life and the control is completely out of the original hands of the original man. This is the reality we have to deal with. This is the reality we have to face.

When we read in the Qur'an let us get the light and help that Gd has revealed for dealing with this thing and defeating it in our life in our families and in our communities. We have the light and the power to defeat it in our life, in our family and in our community life. We have it as plain as day. We can defeat it!

Imam W. Deen Mohammed has faith in us

I said yesterday I believe in you. I have faith in you. I wouldn't be working this hard day and night for this work, for this cause, if I didn't believe in you. I believe in you so you believe in me! You don't have to have a scholar from Azhar University, or a degree from Mecca, Medina, or from anywhere. You don't have to have any of that. You can have nothing. You can come here stammering and if you listen to me long enough, buddy we will become great workers for this cause and we will accomplish it! Oh yeah, we will accomplish it in our lifetime and we will have a great society here in the

United States. We are going to do it. We are doing it! We are making progress and we're going to complete it.

So we know the schemes of satan and Allah says, "Fight the schemes of satan for his schemes are weak", meaning it depends only on human weakness. He

doesn't come to a strong religious person with that. No, he has to corrupt the weak and put so much corruption in the environment of the strong to take over the environment, to take over the community. So he doesn't come to strength. He goes around strength. He doesn't want that. He is looking for weaknesses. He comes to

weaknesses and he knows that if he can get the weak that are in the majority...Understand this. Allah says that most of the Christians they are disbelievers. Yes and you look at them in the life, you know that. You came up among them, not just in this time of climatic corruption, but even before. You know that most of the Christians they couldn't be trusted. You would not trust most of them. You trust a few of them. You know the few that you can trust. You had a church, a congregation, and you knew a lot of them in there were not right. You knew that. I heard somebody say, "Yeah, I wasn't right in there myself!" Well, I hope you're right in this! And I believe you are. [ believe you. I trust you. You're right here.

Eschatological time for events

So what I want to say is this is the time that all of those things that were predicted come together and they reach their fulfillment, their biggest possible presence on this earth. That time has come already. It can't go any further. No, they're done. Everything that was prophesied has happened. Corruption that will spread over land and sea and reach everybody, that has happened. People will be made to babble and not speak intelligently, that has happened. Everything that you see in scripture pointing to the end of time, what they call eschatology, eschatological time for events that develop because of man's growing life on this planet earth, yes, we have reached it. We're living in that day.

These are the last days

These are the last days. We are living in the last days, the fulfillment of great prophecy and we have survived. Isn't that wonderful? We have survived the end of time! We have survived the conclusion for satan's great, great finale. Yes, we have lived to see his great finale and are still intact. Oh, it's a wonderful time for us.

No matter what is happening out there, it said, "A great and dreadful day", right? Great for the righteous and dreadful for the wicked! So don't say, "Oh yeah, but things are still bad. I can't pay my phone bill and I can't do this or that." All of that is a little, petty stuff. Hold on

10-14-2006Ramadan Session

Homewood, Ill.

Session # 4

Imam Warith Deem Mohammed

As Salaam Alaikum to you, again, and Ramadan Mubarak. In the Qur'an Allah Most High, says, as revelation through Muhammed to all mankind, especially to the believers of the following of Prophet Muhammed, "Kaana arshuhu alaal maa-e, "The throne was established before on the water."

So with that revelation in Qur'an I understand that though people turn bad and their intentions become bad intentions instead of good, the bad people get into the picture and get into control. It does not always mean because it is condemned and because they have taken advantage of a natural situation that, that natural situation is bad. It's only there to let us know that a terrible thing has happened, but not necessarily that the situation was bad. It was good in its time, but because of designs by the shaytan and his followers of the wicked people, the situation became bad and Allah replaced it with another. He replaced it with another in accordance with His plan or in accordance with the development of human life as it progresses.

As human life progresses and the development progresses then what was used in the past is not best for the new situation where people's life has advanced from needing the kind of help or support it was getting before and had advanced where it is mandating or requiring a more advanced or a more progressed situation.

Church life is trouble for African-Americans

Some people because of habit and because of sometimes corruption, lack of faith, they continue with something that they know cheats human life or holds back human life from reaching the development that Allah, the Creator wants for it. And they just continue out of habit, sometimes continue out of greed and sometimes just in ignorance they continue to exploit human life for selfish

gain. And I hate to put down our people and I hate to put down the church, but on the whole church life is bad for African-Americans. I do not like to say it, but I am forced to say it. Church life is bad for our people. On the whole it just keeps them in the water.

And G_d says, "That His throne was upon the water." But then He changed it and He says, "Wasea kurseyuhus samaawaate wal arda. "His throne extends over the heavens and the earth." So this is revealing to us growth for the administration or for the rule of human society on this planet earth. It is progressing. In the time when it depended on fishing in the waters of human sensitivities - - in the Bible G_d showed Jesus Christ beginning his mission and he went out and called fishermen to come in and support his mission. They were fishing from boats in the water and he told them to follow me and I will teach you how to become fishermen of men.

Fishing: In human emotions means the intelligence is limited to reflex

Again here we see Muhammed's life and mission and Christ Jesus' life and mission paralleling here. They are very similar. They are running together in that they have the same purpose and the same plan so to speak. So Jesus said, "I will make you fishermen of men". So He was taking them to the land. And what he was saying in that one little statement is that people who depend on the human feelings and sensitivities, working the human feelings and sensitivities, the people that they convert to their leadership or to their way are not men. They are like fish.

A fish is characteristic as a symbol or his life is used as a symbol or as a parable, so to speak, is characteristic of the quick response; what you call reflex activity. When we are describing people as fish that is what we are saying; that they are on that level where their mind, their intelligence is reflex. You touch me and I say, "Who is that? Hey, what's going on?" That's reflex. Fish, when you notice them in a fish bowl, or if you have seen them swim in a pond or something, they are under reflex. They go in one direction until something gets their attention then they quickly respond to it. They either go to it or they go away from it. Fish are known for reflex activity, reflex responses. And people who are given a religion, or a religious message or preaching that wants to arouse their feelings and emotions, over a period of generations the people themselves will become fish, reflex. And if you speak to them the brain muscles for

rational insight are not there when you speak to them. They are non-responsive when you speak to them or give their minds something that requires them to use reason. So that kind of state in the human intelligence is described as thunder and lightning. The light of intelligence is on for a short while, like when the lightning flashes it is not on for too long. But sometimes the flash is so bright at night you can see what is happening around you. Allah says it flashes and goes away and they are in the dark again. They have to stop, again. They cannot proceed.

Our people have been worked on so much by preachers in the church that worked nothing but your feelings, your emotions for so much over a period of generations they tend not to want to think. Isn't that pitiful? We tend not to want to think. We just want to react and I think our preachers know better now. The majority of our preaches they know that they are holding our people back, but they are so used to it and that is their profession, that is their good thing and they do not want to give it up. And the word of G_d among many of them, the Imam Wallace D. Mohammed, is against it. So most of them they do not want to see me. They do not want to talk to me or anything, but they respect me and I believe privately they love me because they know I love them. would not want them to change if I did not love them. If you do not love a person you do not want to see them change to the better state. You don't care. But they know I love them.

In the end of time one of the signs is that the beast, the great deceiver, will be in his lake, on the water but his lake will be turned into a lake of fire and he is in it. Now the lake of fire could be a fire of the passions that destroy people that is, uncontrolled, unintelligent passions that destroy people. But the lake of fire could also be the fire of passions against what has been happening to those in that condition. In other words, it could be a fire that the beast did not ignite. It could be a fire that G_d planned that would one day come and consume the beast and that is what happens, eventually.

All of this is science on the nature of human life in community or in society and the challenges that life has to face or meet even from the deceivers; and how that life is going to survive because of G_d's plan for it; how it is going to survive all these interruptions, all of these bad conditions. It is going to survive and the thing that worked for the deceivers will be turned against the deceivers themselves.

So they work our feelings and our sensitivities and our passions but there will come a time when those passions rebel against those who deceive the human life. Then the passions that they have fired up - - now they have made us a people of great passion, strong passion, a passionate people, when those passions turn against the deceivers, oh boy, they will have a fire on their hands. That is the prediction of scripture. Many things are not given as prediction but they are predictions. They are given as pictures, descriptions but those descriptions are also predictions telling us what the future is and what is going to happen in the end. So really we're living in that time right now.

Look at how the youngsters are. The church can't get them. They won't follow anybody. I'm talking about the rebellious youngsters. They form their own associations, their own organizations. Some of them are criminal, some are not, but all of them do not want to hear a thing from us. They do not want to hear a thing from the establishment. They don't trust any establishment and they are very passionate. They are full of energy. They are ready to hurt something.

Some of them are waking up and turning around saying, "This is not positive. What we are doing is negative." They are independent of us and forming their own leadership and one day we're going to see some great men, leaders, come from them. I believe it is already happening. Great leaders are going to come from this abused and misdirected young generation that we have. And when they turn all that energy in the right direction they are going to be great for their society, for their people and they are going to be too much for the schemes of Satan.

Lake means water turned red

So I see that beast really burning in his own fire. I can see that he is actually burning in his own fire. And if you study the word "lake", they use it for a reason in scripture. If you look up the word lake it does not mean clear water. It means water turned red. Now you know that is not the color of lakes. Lakes have clear water. The water is not colored but the tenn says a deep red dyed substance has been put in the water. The liquid contains a deep red dye substance. So that is why the word lake is used in the Bible for the beast, that he will be consumed in a lake of fire; one of the curses upon the people.

Allah's Throne is universal not subjective

The topic is, "The throne was upon the water". The throne had to come from being subjective to being universal rather than subjective. And Allah reveals that His throne that He wants us to establish as Muslims is universal not subjective. That is why He revealed now that His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, or the skies and the earth, universal.

Lake water turned to blood, red

One of the curses that were on the Egyptians who were oppressing the chosen people that Allah, our Lord, the Creator, had chosen for His purpose were in bondage to Pharaoh. So many curses or plagues came, right? Some of you who read the Bible, you know this. One of them was that the water was turned to blood, red.

Turning water red also means social teaching

Now that is what I am trying to do right now. I am trying to reach our people and turn the holy water red. The holy water used by the religious leaders in our community I want to turn it red. I want to change it from being spiritual teachings to being social teachings.

Government: Works with religion in the ungodly world to control the masses

That Pharaoh who is in the Bible as a wicked oppressor, every Pharaoh was not like that. I studied ancient Egyptian history. Some of their leaders were very good. Some of the Pharaohs were very good for their people. All of them were not like that. It was just one in that period of time. The Pharaoh of that time, of Moses, the persecution, or enslavement of Moses' people, he depended on very mysterious, symbolic religion to hold the masses of the people. He had a priesthood that worked directly with him in government to control the people.

Do you know government and religion work together in the ungodly world to control the masses of the people? That's how it was in that time. I am not saying all churches. I'm not saying all leaders. I am not saying all government people. No, but it is enough support among the church leaders or religious leaders and enough support in the government to keep that thing going. So they have an alliance, a pact. They work together to keep the masses ignorant, babyish.

Education: is the greatest tool for advancing the society

We cannot get where we want to go and get our people where they should go if we just pretend that we do not see these things. No, we have to inform the people. Education is the greatest tool for advancing the society.

Education is lost often when developers control it

But do not think that education is always in academia, or in public school systems, or in the schools established for the people. No, it is lost many times. The main help for the intellect, or for the mind of people is lost many times because the world decides education. Do you know the big developers, the big investors in industry, they control government and education? And we only see opposition to them when a bright intellect appears somewhere in the country, or a group of them. Usually,

it is a group, because a bright intellect is not going to be happy by himself. He is going to have to find some companions to work with him. So it turns out to be a small group of people who get together and they challenge what is going on. They point at the problem and they expose it or they seek to get it changed. And if they can't get it changed then they expose it; and then we see change for the better in the academic world or in the political, governmental world. We see change for the better. But it isn't going to happen without an interruption. Somebody who is right has to be attentive to what is good for the human public and what is bad for the human public.

So we have reached point in our growth as a people on this planet earth, as communities of people on this planet earth, where the old must be replaced with the new. This old way of controlling the masses and managing the public has to be done away with. And I know some of you are guardians and they have given you a small job in the establishment. And you always think that you know more than your leader. You think that they have given you something higher than what G_d has given your leader. Well, that is your privilege. But I'm telling you, you can go back and tell your bosses, the day is out. It is a new day. Oh yes, it's a new day!

We cannot continue to treat grownups in our public and in our residences, our neighborhoods, their brains and their intelligence like they are no more than babies. We

10 -14 -2006 p.3 of 9

have to respect the adult mind, because Allah will interrupt your thing. Yes, He will. He will interrupt it.

So the change is now from appealing to the emotional side of life to appealing to the rational side of life, the land. That is what Jesus did. When he said come from the waters, follow me I will teach you how to become fishermen of men, that is what he was saying. That was the leadership. Tell me how many was he was talking to? How many did he bring from fishing? Twelve. So that is the leadership. How many are in the president's cabinet? Twelve. That is the leadership. So he was calling the leadership of that time.

Fishing the water of human sensitivities and sensibilities

Now they were fishing from the waters, right? They were fishing in the waters of human life, not that water you go out there and look for to go and eat in Chicago; not that lake, not that water. The water of human life, human composition, your sensitivities and sensibilities are both in the water.

Sensibilities: Means the ability to sense

Sensitivities means feelings and sensibilities means the ability to sense in your nature. But if they play upon the waters all of the time and do not address you as land or as a land creature, you will lose your land, the ability to respond. You lose the rational ability to respond, as 1 said earlier, and you are just tuned up to respond emotionally.

The individual life of one person is the key

So the individual life of one person that is the key. The life design and pattern for one person is the same in nature for every other person. Do you know when you go to a dentist he doesn't say, "What is your race? Do you have any other races in you before I start this procedure, drawing blood? Do you have any other races in you? I do not want to make a mistake if you have some Spanish blood in you." No, the human being has human blood, right? Pure, real, true science is universal. It is the same everywhere. So a doctor can treat anybody and he does not have to ask, "Wait a minute. Let me go get my manual on Negroes." You're all the same. Your science is all the same. The science of your hair, your skin, your blood, your teeth, your bones, all of your sciences are the same. That's the G d Who made you.

He made all of us the same so that we can be doctored on without a whole lot of unnecessary problems. But when it comes to teaching this religion, oh boy, we want a Negro religion. "Give us a black religion. Where is that black religion? I don't want that one". Well let us take out that which does not hold up when tested by truth and science and G_d's creation. Let's take that out of it so it will be all of our religion. Let's take the white lord out Christianity. Isn't that what Allah says to the Prophet? He says, "Say to them, let us come to terms that respect us equally. That we raise not from among ourselves lords other than God'."

Racial images of G_d regress the human psyche

Do you think our Qur'an is not addressing racism there? That is what it is addressing. Now you all have a white looking man who belongs to a specific blood line for a race or a group of people and you have given us that type and telling all of us that is our G_d, our lord. The Qur'an addresses that in many ways and when it says, "Let us come to common terms that respect us equally," it is addressing a Lord that you make and it serves your psyche to make your psyche super. But give the same lord to a black man in Africa and it will regress him.

The Church has to change

Again, the church has to change. Our African-American church it has to change. They have to change and we have a lot of help on our side from Christianity now. When I shared with you yesterday that, that priest said, "There has to be some fundamental, major changes in Christianity if Christianity is to survive", I can't tell the church that. I cannot tell the black church that. I can't tell the Baptist Convention that. I can't tell the Holiness people that. They are not ready for that. But why can't I tell my students and people who say they follow my leadership, why can I not tell you?

Stand up in your own souls

When 1 tell some of you, you become dead. You die right in your seat. Your thoughts are not moving. The blood has slowed up. This is us. We can change. You can get that old stuff that they ingrained in you, you can get it out. Stand up to it. You have to be able to stand up in your own souls, do you know that? That is what it means that Christ stood upon the water. He was an original man. He could stand up in his own soul. But the

10 -14 -2006 p.4 of 9

average one of us if the soul gets disturbed we are drowned by the water.

You have to stand up in your own soul

You have to stand up in your own soul. You have to stand upon truth in your spiritual life and as well as in every other form of life. Stand up upon truth whether it is your own feelings or not. And you have to change your feelings and fight your feelings. You have to have a battle with yourself. Isn't that the teachings of the Prophet that the greatest jihad is the jihad with your own self?

I love boxing. A boxer has to train for a fight. He has to get himself into condition for the fight. This is a jihad. You have to train your soul, your psyche, your feelings, your sensitivities. You have to train your waters to support truth in the face of challenges from the world. Coming together as Muslims should answer G_d's call. It has to be a training program to put us in the condition necessary to be successful against the challenges. Once we get our own life together and we feel confident that "I am organized. I am self composed for the job at hand, internally;" then we're ready to join those who are similarly constituted, internally, to get the big job done.

You may say, "Oh, Brother Imam, you have a job on your hands." Why? Because you are in that state of mind that I was in when I was a young minister preaching my lungs out, damaging my nerves and heart, thinking I had to get everybody to accept. We only need a few. I think it was Margaret Mead who said, "Only a few are needed to come together, well organized and they can change the world. She said, "The world has been changed by a few well qualified that come together. The world has been changed by that few." And she said, "Not only has the world been changed by a few but that's the only way it ever happened." That's what she said. So you never should expect that a multitude of people are going to respond to the call of God, or the call of our Prophet, peace be upon him, or the call of our Imam. You don't ever expect the multitude to come to that. They are going to sit and listen and they're going back and eat Kentucky Fried Chicken, or Popeye's or something, Burger King and hamburgers. They're going back to that and they will watch the football game or the soap operas and they're going to be the same old people they were before they heard Imam W. Deen Mohammed in the Ramadan Session.

Sperm some don't reach the egg

But look at the marvelous sign that G_d gives us in the creation of the human flesh. Science says that when there is an interchange between man and woman to produce life there are thousands, millions of life germs and all of them have what G_d designed to become a human being. But most of them do not ever go and hit the mark. They don't hit the mark. They miss the mark and they are just wasted. They are lost. Only one, two or a very few in multiple births hit the mark, or reach the mark. And they say they are swimmers, too. That's what science says. They're swimmers. They're fish. Now, I know they're not fish. But as little germs they move in the liquid like fish. And GA has put in their very makeup an urge and a spirit to go where they have to go. They don't have brains yet. They don't have eyes yet.

But they know where they're supposed to go by virtue of how they were made by God. They know where they have to go. They go there with all of them trying to get there. But most of them they don't have the spirit. They are in the oceanic liquid but they don't have the spirit, so they don't reach it. So, that's life.

Billions of energized influences shooting from Qur'an

Let us look at it. That's a sign from G_d which reveals that there are signs in the heavens, signs in the earth and signs in you. That is what Allah says in the Qur'an this Blessed Book, Holy generous Book. Let us apply that then to our reading of what is happening right now with this work that we're doing. Billions of energized influences are shooting from the Qur'an and when I recite it, it's shooting from me and it is going out there to reach your hearts and your minds. How many do you expect to be developed and become reality? Only a very few!

So let me tell you all who are in the water and you didn't reach the mark, stay in limbo long enough and we're going to create something that is going to wake all of you up. Yes, I think we have something that is going to give you all a resurrection! Praise be to Allah. This language is something. Boy, that salmi, I'm telling you, he got into the language and I know he is having a lot of fun. He has so much fun he is making me laugh. Resurrection!

So that's where we're concentrating now for the completion of this day's program, or presentation. We are concentrating on the challenge to us to develop out

10 -14 -2006 p.5 of 9

Page 46: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

of a few who can do the job for the many. So that's what we want. And you don't have to be in my immediate presence or my staff or in my circle of workers. No, Allah says where ever you are work in your place. Allah says, "I am a Worker. You don't see where I'm working. You don't see Me. But look at the great work that I did and am doing all the time. I'm a Worker".

So you don't have to depend on coming under an organization to do work. Allah knew that some organizations wouldn't want you. Some organizations would be afraid of you. Some organizations would be so selfish they don't want to share authority and work with you. So Allah says, "Work you in your places". Now you know we're supposed to belong to the masjid. That is number one. We are supposed to belong to the body of believers and they are carrying out their duty as a collective body to conform to what Allah has revealed for Muslim life; shahada, prayer, charity, everything. Don't abandon that. You contribute to that but you don't have to be in a place where they pass around the bucket to contribute to that. Sometimes the place where you were going to have prayer and whatever it has become

so unattractive to you that it is just depressing for you to go there. So then you have to do what Imam W. Deen Mohammed does a lot.

Charity best done in privacy

You have to see a poor person in the streets and they ask you for some coffee, money or some help, you have to make zakat. Do your sadaqa, your zakat right there. Let's get away from that old, narrow-minded religion. Allah doesn't want us like that. The Qur'an doesn't guide us to be like that. You don't have to give zakat to somebody in a mosque, in a place. You can give zakat to any human being. Allah loves you to have compassion on human life; empathize with the suffering masses, the people. Allah says spend in secrecy and in the open and the spending that you do without anybody to acknowledge it from your community is a greater charity than the charity you do and get your name recognized. Understand that.

Let us be like Mr. Fard. The man was great. Yes, he came in dyed garments as he said looking like the cavey. He said he came in wearing the cavey clothes, in disguise. Then he said, "Nevertheless, I will come back". He told his followers that. He preached among the people, a lot of you don't know this, for three years. Most of them in Detroit, then he went to Chicago and

then to Milwaukee. He went to these three places, Mr. Fard, himself, with the Honorable Elijah Muhammed accompanying him. And there are believers still living who know this among us. There are believers right here in this spot with me who know that. They heard Mr. Fard, himself, preach it. Sister Vanadock from Detroit was 101 or 102 years old when she passed. And where ever she heard I was speaking she would try her best to be there in the audience. She heard Mr. Fard. She knew him just like my father did. She was a close friend of my father and mother, too. And there are others who know of that time, too. There are only a very few living now, but there are still a few living now who actually got their names back in that time.

He said, "We are going to get everyone of them", speaking of our people. He wasn't going after just Muslims. And he knew all of them wouldn't become Muslims. But he said, "We have 17 million keys and we're going after each and every one of them". My father said he said, "Brothers we are determined to get all of them, each and every one of them." Now, this man wasn't even African American and he said that and left it with the Honorable Elijah Muhammed and leaders that he established back at that time in Detroit, firstly, then Chicago and, lastly, Milwaukee.

Sin if Muslims separate from black people

We have experiences that make it make it sinful for us to separate ourselves from the rest of our people. We have experienced a life together as a people and I'm telling you it is a major sin. Some of us don't know it, but it's a major sin, but you're not punished for what you don't know. It's a major sin for any of us to see ourselves separate from of our people. We can't accept that. No, because what I am individually is because of what we have experienced together, past and present.

I feel like I do and I want what I want and I'm bothered by what I'm bothered with because I belong to my people, not Egyptian, not Pakistani, not Arabs; because I belong to my people. That is why I feel and respond and that is why my spirit is burdened the way it is burdened, because I belong to my people and my genes have a memory for being persecuted, rejected, tortured, killed in my ancestors before me. We all have this. We all share this in common.

Black psyche shared slave experienced bonded us

This is not a Mexican thing. This is not a Polish thing. This is not a Japanese thing. This is a black thing! This is an African American thing! We have one life and that life is the life of our people. And we have a prominent psyche that is strong because of our shared experiences over the many generations. I can't ignore that. We have feelings. Do you know we have group identity? That's what I'm dwelling on. We have group identity and the group identity is more important that the individual identity.

We're in the collective life more than the private life

What makes up my identity for the greater part is our group life, our collective life as a people. So I look at my creation now, how it has formed and conformed and rebelled. When I look at it I don't see Wallace the welder. I don't see Wallace the guy who was doing the walk at the dance. I don't see him. He's small in my life. But I see Wallace who has a spirit to establish his life with his people so that his life fulfills a hunger in his soul for establishment as a people. The collective body, that's where I am. And that's where practically all of us are. Whether we know it or not we are in the collective life more than we are in the private life. So we're building the leadership that we need to be successful with our plans or with our life on this earth that we are trying to bring where to Allah wants it.

World's design always weaker that the design of God

Allah created life upon a plan and we're left free thinkers, free spirits to accept to stay with G_d, or to follow the influences in the world. We have that freedom. But in time that which is stronger is going to overcome that that is weaker and no matter what the world designs for our creation their design is always weaker than the design of G_d. And in time the spirit in the people will manifest, even in the individual. But when it manifests in the individual it's not that individual's spirit, but the individual has taken into his heart, his life, and his mind the collective spirit, the spirit of the people; and in time it will overcome and it will do away with the false creation and bring the creation back to G_d.

A spirit to return to Allah

So when Allah says, "And to G_d you return, and to Allah you must return", you don't think that means dying in the graveyard? Let's get away from these lesser of importance ideas and pictures we have in our minds. "Oh yeah, he returned to Allah". Who returned to Allah? "I saw him put in the ground and they put dirt over him". What are you talking about, "he returned to Allah?" His earth returned to the earth. That's what we did. He was made of earth and we put him back in the earth. But, what about his spirit? What about his soul? He left it with us and it's our obligation to return it to G_d. And the only way we can return it to G_d is to return it to the plan, the community plan that G d wanted that life to be in. Whew!!! Now, it has meaning!!!

Yes, I want to return to Allah. All of us have a spirit to return to Allah and that spirit will never be satisfied until we have an ummatul Islameeyah following this Qur'an and following the life of Muhammed as it is being opened up to us now!!! Praise be to Allah. Allahu akbar! That's where we're going! We were created to go there. We've got to go there!

We for sure were created to serve the Most High G_d

1 remember our teacher, Jamil Diabb, he was putting together a little performance, like a play for the students to put on an engagement in Chicago, under the Honorable Elijah Mohammed, of course, and under the Temple of Islam at that time. And one part of the play was, in fact, it was the finale, climaxing of that play. And Imam Darnell was in that play. He was a good actor. He was. In fact, he was Bilal. He had a lot of starring roles back then; not in the play. There was no Bilal in this play. But I'm saying as a muadhdhin he was and still is our Bilal. And it kind of went like this, Imam Darnell Karim ...{imam W. Deen Mohammed begins to sing in Arabic)... "We. for sure were created to serve the Most High G_d".

Thank you very much. As-Salaam Alaikum. Ramadan Mubarak.

10-15-2006Ramadan Session

Homewood, Ill.

Session # 5

Imam W. Deen Mohammed

As-Salaamu Alaikum. Ramadan Mubarak. Bismillahir Ramanir Raheem. Was salaatu was salaamu alai rasuulihil kareem, Muharnmed, salallaahu alaihu was sallam mabaad.

We kind of anticipated that some would have to go back home to get ready Monday for their businesses or their jobs, or families, take care of their families. So some did leave but we still have more than I expected here, today. Praise be to Allah. I miss some of the students who are very good students. They possibly could be here but kind of doubt it, because they usually make their presence known to me; and they're from the East Coast, the New England states area. We have a few very excellent students from the college campuses in that area. lnsha Allah, they will be able to get a transcription and won't miss what we're getting. I know they want it and need it and will benefit, greatly, from it.

The focus for this closing session on this Sunday in the Month of October is taken from the words of G d in the Qur'an, the balanced community, "IimmatuI wustaa," in Arabic. We begin addressing this topic by going back to the beginning of time as we are to perceive it through the guidance of G_d, revelation, that is; through His servants, messengers and prophets and especially through the last Prophet Muhammed, alaihe salaam, the peace be upon them and the prayers and the peace be upon him.

The snake is talking like a man to Adam

When we recall what we have heard or read in the Bible or scripture of the beginning of time for human beings on this earth we recall man right after he was made or created and put on the earth or in the garden and then in the earth, he was approached by the deceiver, shaytan, the satan, the devil in the form of a hisser that does not

talk. It is silent. It only hisses.

Adam's nature made him aware of G_d

The snake is quite different from other animals. The other animals are talking and communicating with one another but the snake is silent and he hisses. So this snake is communicating, strangely. He is talking like a man to Adam. And he is working as we said yesterday to give Adam a perception of things, a perception of reality; even a perception of what G_d intended for Adam that Adam knew, obviously. If he didn't know it the satan, the shaytan would not have been trying to give him another perception. He already had a perception and his nature was aware of how he should respect Qd, the Creator of everything. His nature had him know that.

Satan wants to change Adam's perception of life

Now the satan is trying to persuade him to buy his perception that satan wants for Adam, or for mankind. When we say Adam we mean for all people, for mankind. Obviously, Adam's obedience in his nature had him in check. He just couldn't behave any kind of way and he was not open to being easily changed or converted from the way that he thought and behaved.

So the subtle one--subtle means difficult to see and difficult to figure out, difficult to detect, etc.; very subtle, very wise. And we should connect this scene in the Bible or in scripture with the saying of Muhammed the Prophet, upon him be the prayers and the peace. He said that G_d invited the archangel Jibril, Gabriel in

English, to witness His creation that He was planning for human beings, for mankind, the universe, the whole creation, earth included, everything. He said to Jibril, "Behold My creation. Jibril saw it and said, "What a wonderful, marvelous creation. How can anyone go astray in such a wonderful creation?" I know you have heard this many times. And within an instance Gel changed the scene and the creation appeared as satan was going to present it. And when Jibril, the archangel, saw that he said, "My Lord."He said my Lord the first time, too. In the first instance he said "My Lord " and I'm bringing it to your attention to let you know that even the most important of all the angels recognized Allah, the Creator, as his Lord. He said, "My Lord, how can anyone go straight in such a creation?" Now these are the two extremes. The satan brought it from an

extreme. He made it so attractive, so fascinating but his decorating creation made it very difficult for human beings to keep their good moral nature and good intelligence in such a creation. So that is why the archangel says, "My Lord how can anyone go straight in such a creation?"

Muhammed addressed religious issues that deviated

So this helps us understand what was given before. You see the Prophet comes to address major issues in religion that came before and had gotten off track, to correct the perception. Did you know from Genesis to Revelations, from Al Fatiha to An Nas, that these are great books, these perfect Books if you understand what I'm saying... "Oh, the Bible is not perfect." And a lot of what you got out of the Qur'an is not perfect, either. Your perception is not right. But if you have the right perception you

will see the correct language and reading in the Bible is perfect. Not all of it, but you will find the perfect language in the Bible if your heart is right and you have the intelligence and the support of G d. Oh yeah, you can find it in the Bible.

Muhammed found it in the Bible. "Oh, he didn't read the Bible." That is what you think. He did not follow the Bible. He did not know the Bible. The Bible was accessible. If it was not accessible why did he say to Ali his cousin who had a Bible--now this is in established hadith--he said, "Ali what's wrong with the Qur'an that I brought?" I think he only wanted to caution his cousin Ali, may G_d be pleased with Ali, radhi Allahu anhu. That's the traditional saying, meaning may Allah be pleased with him. That is all. The Prophet knew Ali was not going to convert to the Bible, Christianity or Judaism. But he just wanted to caution him. All of us need to be cautioned when we pick up the Bible because it is very, very subtle and powerful as a deception, as well as pure guidance.

So getting back to the scene of the beginning of mankind in Adam, the satan knew that he had to give the human beings a new perception from himself if he was going to gain what he wanted to gain and that is complete authority in the life of human society. That is what he wants. That is what he aspires for. I didn't continue it, but perception is the major theme in scripture from Genesis to Revelation, from Al Fatiha to An Nas, the last chapter of Qur'an.

Perception: Certain vision. Every eye shall see him

So quickly reflecting on the great issue of perception in the Bible it says, "And every eye shall see him". And the Bible talks about light and darkness, the world receiving light and then coming under darkness. And it ends with the whole world becoming light. That's how Revelations ends, with the whole world becoming light; everything. From everywhere there was light. It started on the throne but it went out and filled the whole earth and the whole earth was filled with light. So light is for eyes. The whole book is for perception. It is to grow the right perception in human beings especially in leaders so that the world of man would be established in the best way.

Perception, isn't that what you go to school for, to improve your perception of things? Isn't that why you went to college to improve your perception of things? Yes. Education improves our perception, betters our perception and when our perception is better the life is better. You just feel so much better. So I'm sure the garden was not a dark place. I think it was a very bright, well lit place, lit with the best of lights.

Perception. "Every eye shall see him". Why should it be said "every eye shall see him"? Isn't it enough to have our leaders see? No, G_d has put it in the very nature of every human being to want to see clearly, to want to understand. So you are burdened when you have a whole lot of knowledge and you do not understand it. That's a big burden. You are burdened when you hear a whole lot of preaching and you understand but a very little. That leaves you burdened. That's a big burden. Allah didn't create you to carry that burden forever. He created you

to grow in intelligence, to grow in perception so the burden would be light.

The balanced community

The balanced community. Now, I have to make some notes as I go, too. The satan had a plan, didn't he? Now, when you read in the Qur'an where it says, "And they plan and Allah plans and Allah is the best of planners", don't just hear that and say that's right and you are thinking in a little focus, a little small unimportant situation. No. When you read that be aware of the greatest deceiver shaytan himself, the satan and that he is the one who started everybody else to planning in a way to make trouble. And Allah is the best of planners. It means Allah is going to overcome satan's plan and when

Page 55: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

He overcomes satan's plan the rest of them are done away with automatically.Mr. Fard, I sure liked his courage and great wit. He said, "Can the devil fool a Muslim? Answer: No not nowadays." That day just arrived. Those days he was foreseeing, they have arrived.

Most of what we perceive has been influenced by the shaytan, himself

Here is the big problem. Our perception of the universe has been changed. What we perceive is mostly influenced by the shaytan, himself, even the way we read scripture. For after all this was a man that G_d, Himself, created and that G_d, Himself, communicated to and the shaytan is talking to him to change his perception. So he is even influencing him so that when he hears the word of G_d, satan says, "Oh no, He didn't mean it that way. You should know how G_d meant that so you can be

free to do great things and rise up even with the G_ds". Now we know all of them are false except one.

Again, I like Mr. Fard's wit. He told the Honorable Elijah Mohammed, "G_d means power and force." Now we know that is not correct. Gd is much more than power and force but that is what he wanted the Honorable Elijah Mohammed to see. Then he told or led the Honorable Elijah Mohammed to believe that the black man is the G_d. I guess that is what he was doing. He was checking that black man by giving him a definition for the G_d in the new language of W.D. Fard in the Nation of Islam hinting, "The G_d I'm giving you is not the most high, not the perfect, pure and just one. The G_d I'm giving you is power and force.' Yes, that is what I'm doing and that is my nature. Ever since I was a boy that was my nature, not to preach so much but to teach.

Qur'an Bible designed to help man on all levels

Along with his strategy, his world grows. The more he progresses his plan and strategies the more his world develops and grows. Now, the Bible says this. To save a lot of time I'm not going to go and quote everything. You will get it later, en sha Allah. To save a lot of time I'm just going straight to the point. But I'm telling you the Bible and Qur'an both Books have it. If it is a major issue it is in both Books.

Bible is a Book of knowledge to achieve world dominance

So the Bible is designed to serve mankind on all levels just as the Qur'an is designed to serve mankind on all levels. The people who are uneducated, the Qur'an and Bible is designed to serve them. You read them they serve you. You do not have to be educated. But the more your intelligence is developed and informed correctly the more you get out of these Book. That's natural. So what I'm giving you now you should write it, my students, please. The Bible is a Book of knowledge for educating the brightest minds and the most ambitious souls in the knowledge of how to achieve a dominance in the world, or on this earth. That is what it is all about. I'm sure most of you know what a dominance is.

Satan is a mindset

A dominance means you are in position to control everything. Everything is under your authority. Now who wants that? Satan, shaytan, he is the number one villain, the number one criminal. He wants that more than anybody, more than anything. He wants that more than anything. And don't think of him as a person. He is no person. He is a mindset. And he can becommunicated to any person and that person who accepts that communication and starts to live by it and under it, that person becomes shaytan. So now that this has been done you can't look in the Genesis or in the garden, only, for satan, shaytan. No, you have to look in the whole world, because that is what he aspired to do, get the whole world. And you have to look at the highest places. That means you have to also look, firstly, in religion, because that is where he started. He started to change the way G_d wanted us to sec and perceive religion. Now would you believe people who perceive themselves to be angels-beings, humans that perceived themselves to be angels- held high this thing; that they worked to keep it hidden so they could get the benefits because they have knowledge of what is going on, so they could get the benefit of the existence of this thing and its rule over the life of people for themselves and they are not really shaytan?

Man fell from his noble position to material interest

Now remember who was leading the angels before G_d interrupted it. It was Iblis, a jinn, who had transformed himself an angel and was leading the angels in heaven. I'm giving you Qur'an, the word of G_d. And he caused

10-15-2006 p.3 of 16

Page 56: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

a disruption in the heavens and the man that G d was making in heaven had to be rejected and sent down to earth. Now don't think of the sky up there and coming down here. No, think of high principles, high and decent aspirations, pure intentions, etc. Think of that excellence of the soul and now there has come an interruption, a disruption in that heaven that I just explained to you; a disruption in the heavens that made man fall from his noble position to material interest. That's coming down to earth, to material interest. And the satan seduced him and brought him to fall. And the satan was also in the garden. He was there as the leader of the angels and Grd cast him down, rejected him. All of them, plus the man and his mate who was affected, had to be cast down. And they were cast down. Let's go back to perception.

The problem is in your five senses and in your deeds

When the satan confused their perception and had them buy his perception of reality that is what started everything. That is what brought them all to fall. And the word from our prophet, communicated to our Prophet by the Lord, Creator of the heavens and earth, is Qubad. "Get you down into the earth, qubad." Qubad means "all together", but it suggests, "like a fist". So where is the problem? In your five senses and in your deeds, because this hand has five fingers and this is what I act with. And it starts with high deeds, not welding like I used to do. It starts with writing. The hand that writes is over the welder in the establishment of the world that is what I

am talking about. The welder is small. He is way down here.

So it starts with writing. That is where the problem starts, i.e., your five senses and your hand that writes; and, as Allah says in the Qur'an, "They write it and say this is from G_d." Okay you want a dominance? "Get down into the material earth and it is going eventually bury you, you greedy satan!" So to get man to go wrong the satan in the beginning of the Genesis invites him to look at the material world and see how great lie can become if he thinks freely and not be hindered in his thinking by his fear of G_d. "Look at the possibilities that you have man to explore this material world and become very powerful, very productive and live forever. I'm giving you a wisdom and your rule will be everlasting. It will not be for just one season. I'm going to give you an idea for a rule that will survive all seasons." That was his suggestion to Adam. That means to us, to people back then and now and for all times.

Okay, I think that is enough for that scene. You see we're going from scene to scene. Now, we are on the dominance. I didn't forget the topic now. The topic is where we're going, ummatul wustaa, the balanced community.

In the Bible this language for educating the special and ambitious intellect on how to establish a dominance is given in many places in scripture but I'm going to share this one with you. In the Bible the difficulty that a certain element among the Jews were having...Mind you how I put that, a certain element among the Jews. Never think that Jews are a bad people. Jews are a good people but they have been misguided themselves by an element among them.. They have become loyal to an element that they do not know is the devil, himself, shaytan, himself.

I was happy to learn here recently that the world Jewry, world Jews, do not accept Zionism. They don't accept it and they condemn Israel taking the position that G_d gave them that land. Now this is world Jewry. It is on the web. You can find it on the web. You students who arc serious about following my methab, or my school, you should get on the web and find it and see what they are saying. They say that there is no support for the establishment of Israel in the Torah and they say that there is no support for Zionism in the Torah. That's the majority of the Jews.

Qur'an: Never condemned all Jews and Christians

And the Qur'an never condemned all Jews. The Qur'an says most of them. The Qur'an does not condemn all Christians. Allah in the Qur'an says most of them and we know that to be real right now...But Allah says that there is a party among them who believes in G_d and believe in promoting fair dealings among the people. And He says let there be of you a party, a group, doing the same, the exact same thing that Allah with His word credits the Jews and Christians for having a special group among them who are committed and loyal to obedience to G_d and establishing the right way for man on this planet earth; Jews and Christians. Then He tells us, "You be a people, the same, believing in G_d and promoting fair dealings among the people." "Islahan baynan nas". That's the Qur'anie words in Arabic.

"Your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite"

10-15-2006 p.4 of 16

Page 57: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

We haven't changed the scene. The scene is still on dominance, achieving that dominance. So this reference in the Bible that I want to share with you that I saw, G_d blessed me to see, is about the crooked plan, that the bad elements among the Jews wanted to advance, gave this to the world, because it is in the Bible. The Bible is not for Jews. The Bible is for all people who want to follow it. It is given to the world. And it is so clever. Most of us will never get it. Only G d's mercy will help us get it. These are the Jews now talking to the Jews to make the Jews aware of their heritage in the best and the most powerful way. It says of the Jews, "Your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite".

Now, I want to caution you. When you research what I give you I am sure that there is no source to give you all that I give you. You can't find anything out there that will give you all that I give you. G_d has blessed me special insight. I'm not exaggerating and I want no attention for myself.

Amorites is really a play on Abraham

Hittites were a people who were mighty. They were very powerful, materially. And obviously if they were very powerful, materially, they had great sciences, great wisdom. But what we should know most importantly about them is that they were all about achieving a dominance, defeating all other nations. The Hittites, they became very mighty, very powerful. And the Amorites is a play on, really, on Abraham. The Amorites were people who were compassionate, loving, caring about the individual person in society; and trying to bring their people of their area to be a family people caring about each other, loving each other.

The Amorites. You can hear a hint of the word "Amor" which in Spanish and Italian also means love. So the strategy is to have the leaders be Hittite-like and the community be Amorite-like. Can't you see that today presently? You have a Hittite and the people Amorites, love. Americans are supposed to be a people of love. But the rule may be Hittite. This is reality.

Asr prayer is the middle prayer

The balanced community. Do not forget what the topic is "The balanced community, ummatul wustaa." And there is a prayer that is called by that term also; the midday prayer and the same word is given for it, "Salatul Wustaa." That is the `Asr Prayer. Some think it is the

noon prayer but it is the `Asr Prayer because `Asr means

difficult. When you are going downhill that is the most dangerous part of the mission to go up the mountain and now come down. Going up is not as dangerous as coming back down because your tendency is to forget and you will end up tumbling, falling down and be killed. You still have to be very cautious especially if it is a steep mountain. And `Asr refers to an incline that is steep, very difficult. And that's the trials of this world. When you are facing the trials of this world it is very difficult.

You are trying to make your life comfortable, right? That is going down to where ease will be found after the incline. It is so dangerous and difficult the temptation is to maybe make some maneuvers that would not be too nice. You might say, "Brother Shabazz, you go down ahead of me". And if you see him flip and fall you know to walk around the area. So the temptation is to do something crooked, too, sometimes. So you need to keep the balance that Allah wants for us.

Swastika a sign for Hittites of the axis of the universe

What does Allah say concerning those who have a desire for a dominance? He says, "Any who wants to corrupt or to have a dominance He denies it." I mean you might achieve it but it is not approved by G_d. That means eventually He is going to bring you to judgment and take it away from you. So we want that to be clear before we go further with this.

Now, the Hittites, their sign is like the swastika for Hitler and his followers. And what is that swastika? It is a cross. So that Hittites cross was like a letter "Z" and they wanted to achieve a dominance.

Axis is another cross

So you hear the president and those in the government now when they are addressing terrorism and problems with the Islamic terrorists or the Muslim terrorists you hear them speak of the axis of evil. It is not the first time that they used that language but now trouble for them in the world is bringing them back to use that language. What is an axis? Another cross. So what is this cross? I have commented on the cross before but now I'm giving you some more comments on the cross. The cross is a symbol of universality just as the Hittite sign was a sign of the axis of the universe, the earth number one. Their sign was that we identify with all that you can perceive

with your eyes and senses and we are going to conquer in your mind and dominate the world. That's the Hittites' aspiration and that is what they sought to achieve; and they did achieve a mighty government, a mighty people, a mighty nation, the sciences and all.

Rabb is the one who evolves mankind

So because a nation is advanced in sciences that does not mean it has to be right. That small element is what all of us are suffering from and that is what all of us have to make struggle, jihad, against But you can't go directly at them. As I said, it is an ideology and whoever is behind the ideology comes under that mindset and becomes one of the devils. It is plainly given in Suratin Nas Chapter 114 of the Holy Qur'an, "Bismillaahir Rahmanir Raheem. Qul authu be rab bin nas," Say I seek refuge with the Lord mankind." Lord of mankind means the One responsible for the advancement over a long history of the human being in society. He is the One responsible for that; the Lord of Mankind Who evolved you and brought you to your best developments until you achieved the growth and the better conditions that you have now. G_d is responsible for that. That is what Allah is saying when He says Lord. It is not the English word, lord. It's a Qur'anic word for Lord, "Rabb." Rabb comes from the word meaning to raise children; to take them from birth when they are delivered from the womb and then raise them. Now man has nothing to do with caring for us. Well, science does, but it can happen without man and science. There are a few cases where we need the help of the hospitals, clinic, science and etc., for the mother who is pregnant, Most mothers they know how to care for themselves while they are pregnant and the baby is delivered and no man or human got into that work.

So Allah created us in the wombs, or in bodies of our mothers He creates us. He created and still creates us in the wombs of our mothers, in the bodies of our mothers. But when the child comes out it has to be cared for because it can't manage for itself, it is totally dependent. Right? We take credit for raising the child saying, "I did my best." And sometimes your best is wonderful and people say, "You have such beautiful and wonderful children."

Well the same care and devotion that the mother has for her child that G d formed in her and delivers after nine months, normally, Allah has that for humanity, all people, for all of His dependents. And His dependents

So Allah, when He says He is Lord that is what He is saying that, "I am responsible for you advancing on this earth. Without my help you could not have done it". So He is Lord of all the worlds and the word for worlds

comes from a word meaning "To know." It does not suggest material things. It suggests a process for perception; a process for the intellect; a process for knowledge.

Don't we say the world of science and the worlds of science? That is what Allah wants us to come to understand; the common knowledge that we could not make the moon, the sun, the stars, galaxies out there, the common knowledge in where we should stop. But Allah wants us to come home to the bright light in that revelation to see that He is addressing the process of knowledge, science, education in the life history of all humanity; that without Him, without an idea or perception of a Cause behind this universe bringing it all to be and seeking to know what it is and finding its consistency, its unity in terms of the logic that holds all the universe, all matter together. If you had not arrived at that you would not have been able to develop your sciences and progress as you have progressed on this planet earth.

Tauheed: One G_d, Creation is one logic

So the arriving at the monotheistic idea of G_d is what made all that possible. And you don't find any people, any of the nations that didn't grow with the monotheistic idea ruling and dominating things now. It is only those who embraced that monotheistic idea that I explained to you, that you should understand as Tauheed in its complete meaning and picture from "Wahid" that means oneness.

The idea of oneness in Islam starts with one Cause or one factor bringing all of it about, G_d, the Creator plainly speaking. It starts with G d, the Creator then it goes to His creation and then we accept and witness that His creation is one, consistent logic holding the whole thing together. Then we progress from that premise to man's life and say yes, that man is one life and should be one family and one community. "Kaanan naasu ummatan waahedatan, all people were once one community" in the beginning with Adam if we perceive it. That means we were all subjected to our nature. We

it are all living; all the life in creation are the dependents ofGd, Allah, the Creator.

all had the same make up in our bodies and in our minds to start with. We were once one people. And they did not differ until knowledge came to them and then one boasted in his little knowledge that he was able to grab, see and understand and they started separating.

The black man, he didn't even see any knowledge. He was just affected by knowledge and he startedseparating. "Imam Mohammed, he brought us to the Qur'an and sunnah". "In other words, "His job is through as far as I am concerned. His leadership as far as I am concerned is finished. He brought us to the Qur'an and sunnah, but now, brother, I'm going my way."Well, that's the way life is. You have to accept it and keep striving, because if you take up too much time with that brother, he'll hold you back. Our time is too precious. We don't want to do nothing to him except say Salaam. We don't want to do anything to him except say, "Salaam" We don't have the time to say, "As- Salaam". "If you are confronted or happen to encounter the ignorant people say to them, "peace". You don't have time to say, "As Salaamu Alaikum". No, say, "Salaam" and keep going.

On the cross, now, it is a symbol or sign of universality. Universality in what? Universality in the pursuit of correct perception; universality for the mind, the intellect that wants to know and wants to search and wants to create and build universality for the sciences;universality for the thinker, the philosopher, for the scientist; universality for people who want to improve upon human society. You heard the expression, "Double cross?" That is what satan did to us. Allah made our nature to be in the right balance. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "Qul, amantu fastaqim. Say, '1 have believed and thereafter be upright'." So the balance that G_d created in our nature for us is upright and actually every human being evolves to stand up erect.

And all you have to do is raise your arms on a level with your shoulders and you form a cross. So the cross also is a sign of the uprightness, the balance that Allah created us for. And obviously the satan, shaytan, wanted to deprive man of that balance in his nature. It was lost when he refused Gi_d's plan for human beings because satan was cast down and told to do what? "Bite the dust. Crawl on your belly. That's where your problem is in your stomach. So what you're going after is going topull you down upon your stomach and you are going to

have to crawl on your stomach. Your stomach will be your legs".

Serpent's skin is his means of transportation

And another thing strange about that creature, called serpent, he has no legs and he moves so spookily around on the ground. He will spook you up. He just moves so easily and swiftly with no feet, no legs. His outer skin is also his means for transporting him. Yeah, I don't want to take up too much time with these things. I want to stay on the course. But, that is food for thought. He is silent and he moves in a very spooky way. And I don't care whether you are a tough man or not, women right away they accept that they are afraid of snakes. But some of these macho brothers they want to pretend they are not afraid of anything. But if you wake up at night or in the daytime, man, and you see one of those big snakes moving around, buddy, you are going to be frozen!

Cross: A sign of the original state that Allah made the soul to be in

The cross is a symbol of great advancement, the original state that Allah made the soul to be in, but it is also a symbol of great advancement in the world; that you have achieved balance. Now the ancients also designed the scale that you weigh things in to be a likeness or a symbol for the natural balance that should be in human beings. They designed the scale with a vertical rod like a little small pipe or board and then they suspended a chain or rope from it and two cups or two pieces to hold a weight. They still have those scales around and you can find them somewhere. In fact, I don't think there is any scale older than that. It is the oldest of scales. You know how much one weight is that you have that is maybe 1 lb, 5 lb, or a different pound weight. So you put the known pound weight piece on one side and then you put what the person is buying on the other side. So if they are buying navy beans then you put enough navy beans on the other side to balance that weight. Once you balance it then it is accurate. If it was a 1/4 pound or 2 pound piece on the other side when you balance it you have 1/4 or 2 pounds of whatever on the other side balanced. So that's the old scale.

Adam is not flesh, but soul

Jesus Christ, peace be on him, in the Bible, is a man after Adam. He is called the second Adam in Christian theology and the Bible establishes that. It says, "The

10-15-2006 p.7 of 16

genealogy Jesus Christ" and it goes on to connect persons in his past who where supposed to be related to him or he descended from. It goes all the way back naming different persons in the history and lastly it says, "And Adam who was created by G_d." So his family line or genealogy goes back to Adam. And they take it back to Adam to say that his father was Adam and Adam was not born of male or female. Adam was created by Gd.

Adam is soul

So therefore if you understand brothers, students, his father was not male because Adam is both male and female and Adam is not flesh, meat. Adam is soul. So he created his genealogy back to Adam and its says Adam was created by G_d, meaning that whatever happened in between has no real importance in Jesus' life. It was not those in between who produced Jesus. It was the right, correct, perfect soul that produced Jesus; the soul that Allah, Himself, created for all human beings.

Jesus is a symbol of the cross of balance

So here he is, himself, a symbol himself of the cross, isn't he? In his perfectly balanced soul or nature he is a cross, a universal symbol or sign that communicates great insight. Then they took him and put him on across, and they fixed him on a cross so that he had no mobility. They stopped him from having any mobility. The cross that Allah puts us on is mobile. It is flexible. It can come out of the balance to do its work while spiritually obeying the balance, though physically the movements arc out of balance. But they are coming from a spirituality that is still in the perfect balance. So his deeds are balanced. His works are just, honorable, because he is respecting the check on his nature that is internal. So he can perform all of these. All of these activities are formed from the core that is formed from the balance. So the actions are good, the deeds are good, the works are good. Everything is good that comes from him because he's coming from his correct balance in nature. So you don't have to have a physical picture; understand the spiritual picture.

Now I know where I'm going. Be patient like I am. Jesus is also a sign of this great knowledge, this great science for achieving a dominance. So they made him a sign; a sign holding their secrets for achieving a dominance and that is why we don't accept the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. "They neither killed him nor

crucified him, but it was made to appear that way. People perceived that but it didn't happen. That's how they perceived it but it didn't happen.

"And the government shall be upon his shoulders"

We are talking about the balance now. It is said of Jesus Christ because he had this upright nature just as G d gave it to the world in the first man Adam before he was deceived, he is the model figure, now; the sign to the world of how man is to achieve the perfect government or the perfect rule for mankind. And it says in these words, "And the government shall be upon his shoulders." Shoulders are balanced. "The government shall be upon his shoulders and he shall be called wonderful counselor". Yes, he will be able to counsel governments, not talking about people only, mainly governments. H will be able to counsel governments, give them the best advice; help them solve their problems that are in the way of their progress, etc. "And the government shall be upon his shoulder". So when we read in the Qur'an that G_d has given us a balanced community that is an answer to that promise in the Bible that the government shall be upon his shoulder; that is that wonderful community that Allah gives us in the Qur'an, ummatul wustaa.

There is a hadith that they say goes like this. Jesus Christ is coming back. And he is coming back with a mighty sword. He's going to swing it and its going to be so big that he is going to swing it and it's going to reach everybody on the planet earth. And it's going to slay the wicked and break the cross. Break the cross and Prophet Muhammed said, "Do not break the cross"? That is what he told his followers. And when they would fight in a war he cautioned them. "Don't destroy the sacred things of the Christians". And he said, according to the hadith, the report, "Do not break a cross".

Break the cross means break the code and get the secret

Now, how do we understand this hadith that certain religious groups in Islam make a big deal of? How are we to understand that the cross is going to be broken? He broke the code and got the secret. That is the way it is going to be broken. You break the code and bring out the secrets. You are not going to the church and break those sacred emblems and things they have in there. There is no Christ Jesus coming back with a sword long

enough to go all over the planet earth, slay the wicked and break crosses and stuff like that.

It was in my genetic life when I was a minister. Don't let me spook you up, now. I am a rational man. When I was a minister for the Honorable Elijah Mohammed in Philadelphia, he had just sent me there. I wanted some flyers put out and I had not heard this hadith about the cross being broken. But I knew, subconsciously, I guess, that the cross was a problem. So I decided myself. I could always write and draw. I designed a cross and gave to the brothers and said go and have leaflets put out like this. I designed a cross that was leaning like the cross in the story about that black man who had compassion on Jesus when they were taking him to the place where they were going to crucify him on the cross; and they were making him carry his own big heavy cross, big heavy thing. And this black man in the crowd got so touched and pained by the suffering of Jesus he ran and got under the cross. This is the story. And he helped Jesus carry the cross to the place where they were going to crucify him on it.

At the time I was not thinking of that because it has been since then that I saw a movie where this black man came and he supported the cross so Jesus would not have to have too much of a burden on him. So I had it like that. The cross was leaning like it had fallen over. And I had it broken. So the vertical piece was broken but still being held together by a little bit of the wood. But it was open at an angle like that. There were jagged edges showing it had been broken. I did that as a young minister and now in this life of mine over 70 years old G_d has shown me the real cross and the real meaning of breaking the across. Praise be to Allah.

"And the kingdom shall be upon his shoulders". Man wants to achieve the ideal government. And he wants that government to be compatible with human creation or human nature. So the side of a human as the balance is communicating or broadcasting that knowledge that this government is going to be compatible with the natural urges in the human life. And it shall be supported by the natural design by creation in the human life. That is what is going to support it. It is going to be balanced upon that.

When Allah says to us, "It is the religion of origin for human life", it is Adam's design, the natural man's nature and design. It is the religion of origin, the one upon which He patterned all human societies. Allhuman societies are patterned on this original pattern

G_d put in the life of the individual person. Now when we read our government's language, "We hold these truths to be self evident that all men arc created equal", all men have the same creation as created by God that's what it is saying. As created by G d we are all the same, equally equipped for what we have to do on this earth at birth. That's what it is saying. "We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal and endowed by..." Before, it didn't say "Creator". They added that later, very recently. It just said "endowed with certain inalienable rights, among these rights that you can't take away. No government has the power to take this away".

Liberty means the right to develop your mind

This comes with human creation. Government has not the right or the power to take it away; "And among these life, liberty". Life means the right to live, to have a life. Liberty means the right to develop your mind and have progress for your life. And the pursuit of happiness is to own property. This is how they interpret it. This is how they established for that language to be interpreted in the constitution of our United States. The judges and whoever are going to be acting as authority with the Constitution, they are to have that understanding.

Fatara means He originated

Well, the same thing is said to us, "Deen al fitratul latce fataran naasa alayhaa, the religion of the original nature or the religion of the original design or pattern the one upon which G_d formed all nations or all people; originated, not just formed. Fatara means originated. Fitraa means the original pattern_ Fatara means He originated, He formed for the first time societies upon that original pattern. That is the only way man has evolved. He has evolved upon the best of his nature. He has used his intelligence as it has been created or given to him in his original life by nature. And he has respected the best of that life, the excellence of his own life and developed worlds because of his respect for that design in his nature; the best design in his nature.

Come back to that innocent pure life

So that is how man forms the world, forms societies and we have signs and symbols, or signs and wisdom in Jesus Christ and in the cross and crucifixion and we have clear language in Qur'an. So to have this beautiful

world that our souls hunger for and search for we have to be connected with the best of our creation or our design as humans that Allah, our Creator, gave us. We have to come back to that innocent, pure life that has no bad motives, no bad intentions.

The world went wrong when Adam went wrong

In the Bible it says the fathers have to be brought back and connected to the children and the children with the father, reconciled. If it doesn't happen the whole earth is going to be hit with a curse. This is what the Bible says. Now, I don't know how a preacher would comment on that to his congregation. He might think that the father is G_d. He might say the father is Jesus Christ, that we have to accept Jesus Christ, the son of G_d and G_d. He might say that, though he is the son not he father. But it is simple, as plain as day. The world went wrong when Adam went wrong. And Adam is a universal type representing the common life that G_d wants in all of us; that we take an interest in this creation, because He charged Adam with being a caretaker. There were no houses like we understand them. There were no buildings, streets and cities like we understand them. So what was he to be a caretaker of? What was he being held responsible for? The natural environment.

So he created man, firstly, to be responsible in the natural environment, responsible to Creator in the natural environment. G d said, "Whatever is in the sky I made to come down and yield its benefits to you. And whatever is in the earth I made it to yield its benefits to you, all people." So that is the Adam that we have to be reconciled with, if not all of us are going to be cursed down here on this earth. You have to come back and get the mind of the first man, get the heart of the first man, male and female. You have to come together in that posture and in that position as the caretaker, custodian, khalifa, responsible for the environment to your wife, responsible to your children, responsible to your community. You are supposed to be a developer. Allah put Adam in the earth to be a developer and that is how he became the one qualified to teach even the angels the language, even their own names.

And even in this day and time we're living in the developers are still more Adam than anybody else. That preacher is not Adam. The typical preacher is no Adam. After the honorable Elijah Mohammed said get some of this good earth and said take responsibility for your community and build things these preachers now are

trying to build homes and they arc doing a lot of good work. But they didn't do that before. So now they are becoming little Adams, little developers, and that's good. 1 like that and we like that.

Muhammed was taken up into the heavens

Well, we're about to close this out. So it says they have to be reconciled with their fathers. Muhammed was taken up into the heavens and on the ascent and night travel the first level that he witnessed as he was rising in the ascent of the human soul was the level upon which he greeted Adam. He said, "Peace be unto you my father Adam". And he was taken up to a second level. There were seven levels he was taken through. On the second level he saw there Jesus Christ and John the Baptist. I'm saying it in the language of the church. He saw Jesus,

Isaa and John, Yahya. He said to them, "Peace be unto to you my brother Jesus and my brother John". And then he was taken up to a third level and he witnessed Joseph, Yusuf, in Qur'an, and he greeted him likewise, "My brother".

But, on the first level he said, "My father, Adam; then on the second level he said, "My brother" to John and Jesus, Yahya and Isaa. And then He went to the third level and it was his brother, Joseph, Yusuf. He said. My brother, Joseph". And he went to the forth level and he greeted him, "My brother, Idris. Then He went to the fifth level and there he witnessed Aaron, the brother of Moses and he greeted him, "Peace be unto you my brother, Aaron". And on the sixth level there he witnessed Moses who was higher than Aaron, of course and he greeted Moses, "Peace be unto you my brother, Moses". And he finally arrived at the seventh level and there was Abraham, Ibrahim, and he said, "Peace be unto my father, Abraham, or lbraheem". From there he was taken on the travel.

So it was an ascent. That's vertical isn't it? He went straight up from where? He went straight from the Kabah, from the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca into the heavens. So the vertical mustaqeem is the path of uprightness. The development of the soul in virtues, purity and high principles, etc., that is the ascent. Then he travels. That's horizontal. Now you tell me that isn't a cross? If the ascent is vertical and the travel is

horizontal you have a cross. So see how the mysteries are addressed in so many ways to educate the blessed ones? Praise be to Allah.

10-15-2006 p.10 of 16

Page 63: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

So the horizontal is the important relationships that man has with man, families have with families, industry has with industry, communities have with communities. That's the horizontal. So he was taken to the place that was the symbol of the glorious time for the Jews, to Jerusalem where there was the kingdom of Solomon and the ruins are still there. When they go to the Wailing Wall they are weeping on what is left of that great kingdom. What are they weeping for? "We lost this, enemies conquered us"; not the Muslims. Before the Muslims it was the Romans. Really the Muslims did not want to conquer them. The Muslims never wanted to conquer them. The Muslims just wanted to have their rights like they wanted to have their rights.

Madinah established after the Ascent and night travel

Allah took him to the great peak for excellence in the life of those people symbolized as the government under Solomon, the wise, upon him be peace. And you know what happened. Later, almost right away, he decided to go to Madinah to answer the invitation of the people of Madinah. And with the experience and knowledge that Allah gave him in that ascent and that travel, night visit, he was prepared to go and establish the first Muslim world in Madinah. It was a world he was to establish. So he went to Madinah. We say government but it was a world. It was a new world. He went there to Madinah and he became the leader for the establishment of the ummah, the new world of Islam.

Jesus, Muhammed excellence from their original nature

So He had to first be in the excellence that Allah created for all of us when He created Adam. Muhammed was in that excellence. Jesus and Muhammed are to be seen together. He said there will come a time when the world will see them together, Jesus Christ and himself. He (Prophet Muhammed) said that, peace be on him. So we are to see them together most importantly in that Jesus Christ did not get his human excellence from the environment that he was born in and lived in. He got his human excellence from his own original nature, that man is not to be given credit for because it came directly from his original nature; kept for him, preserved for him and communicated to him by his Creator, G d, most high. Yes and the same is for Muhammed, although Muhammed had a mother and a father. Muhammed had a mother and a father but in actuality it had little

importance in his coming up, because his father died before he was born and his mother died when he was yet a child. That would be like in his first years of elementary school. So he did not have parents and is more like Adam, isn't he? He had no mother and no father to take over his life and care for him like Adam. Adam had neither father nor mother. And Christ Jesus did not have a father, which is perfectly understandable. Allah doesn't reveal things to man that he can't understand. You just have to grow in knowledge and experience so you will be able to digest what is not for children, but is for adults.

Jesus is a sign of where man is to take his life

So in the closing of this session we come back to the individual; Christ Jesus as a plural type for all people and as a sign. He is a type serving as a sign pointing to where man should take his live on this earth to establish it and have a great society. And Muhammed is actually the human guide guiding his followers to that. Allah says that He, "Evolves the kingdom or the throne, the rule over people". He causes the rule of a people to come to whomsoever He pleases. He revolves it, meaning it is not going to stay with any one people always. His covenant will not stay with any one people always and the rule over society that He approves of will not come

to any one people and stay with them always. No. It revolves. It goes from one to the other.

But if you understand this word in Arabic, it does not suggest revolving at all. But the natural order of creation and development that Allah inspires when it is lost to come back, it is like a revolving. But what is it revolving around, the earth or around the geography of the earth? Yes, it does that but it might back up that way. That way it might come eastward or westward to Africa and it might go back the other way through Asia or some people in Asia. So we can't see it that way. You can't see the revolving in that way. It revolves from the original man back to the original man. It starts with the original man and it goes from him to the philosopher, to the nation builder, to commercial order and that is what has the throne right now in America, the commercial order. They have the rule. So it revolves. But where did it come from? How did it get started? It started from the original man, from his original nature and his purpose on this earth to develop matter, to develop earth or land, etc. in accordance with G d's will that is imprinted on his very nature. GA's will is imprinted upon his very nature, upon his very biological flesh, etc., constitution.

Page 64: iwdmstudylibrary.weebly.comiwdmstudylibrary.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/9/...2006.docx  · Web viewLook at the word "Istaqeem," it gives the suggestion to the mind that this is standing

G_d has inscribed it inside him and it manages to one day come to his conscience and he begins to progress on this planet earth.

So that is how G_d evolves it. What is the word? The word is taken from the Arabic verb meaning to encounter, to meet. This world with shaytan's design on it separates us from our own originality and we take up different pursuits that G d intended for us because that is inscribed in us, too. It is called, "Subulnaa," Allah's paths that He designed for man's nature, enlightenment and productivity. They are all inscribed upon his nature. So man is going to pursue these sciences, etc. These are the paths of the Creator, the paths of G_d for him. And these paths sometimes cause us to separate and get lost from each other, lose the central purpose and we have to come back to it. And those who come back to it they come back to the fullness of life for mankind on this planet earth, community life. And when they are blessed to come back to the original nature, the original pattern in man's creation, then they light the whole world. These separate possessions cannot light the whole world. But if you come back to your universality which is your original nature you can light the whole world.

Son of man is sun of manSleep repairs and rejuvenates the life

So when that happens it is though the sun was absent in the life of the people and the sun comes and makes the whole land bright. And the sun is so compassionate. "Now why is he talking about the sun?" You're supposed to understand if you're my student. The sun is so compassionate that it goes away so that the people can have a good night's rest and as one says, "I repair. I go to repair." It means go to sleep and sleeping repairs the life, rejuvenates the life. It gets you ready for another sunrise. And the sun says, "Okay, I have given you time to get the benefit of the night Now, get up it is sajda. I'm coming. Now be up before I make my presence.' Isn't it wonderful? When you read in the scripture the son of man it should be spelled S-U-N. S- 0-N is for us in this common language. But in the real language, in the knowledge, it should be S-LT-N. And that is the way it was to begin with and they stopped writing it like that and starting writing S-0-N, son of man. Both are correct.

We descended from the first man. We are the sons of man but more importantly for scriptural understanding and enlightenment we are the S-U-N. of man. And it is a

natural light. It is part of the creation of man. It is in the creation of man. So he was created to be an illuminated body, to rise up out of his gross matter and illuminate the world of man as Allah says, "And He made the day for activity so man can get busy about his work." And Jesus Christ said, "I have to be about my father's work."

Universe created for Muhammed the type of all mankind

Well, that concludes our session. So, don't underestimate the human creation and don't underestimate what G_d has said of human creation. Don't play down your own creation. Hear what G_d said about your excellence, the power and excellence of creation. And if you can just stick with this one statement, Allah created this universe. The philosophers, the pious ones in Islam among the scholars say He created the universe for Muhammed. But Muhammed is this one, Wallace, also. Muhammed is the type that addresses Wallace and all of us. So Allah created it for Muhammed. Yes, He created it for the excellence that - we are to understand for the human model in Muhammed's life and in his demonstration of that excellence. But that's supposed to be in me, too.

It is inherent in me too. And if Muhammed is a model for me then he is a guide to guide me to my excellence, called Uswa Hasana, to my model of excellence. All of us don't achieve equally like all the Prophets are not equal in mission and achievement. They start with Adam and they go up to Abraham. And Muhammed comes and he combines, reconciles all of them together and then he comes and applies the light of the seven. He is the eighth and he comes with the light of the seven and applies it as G_d intended for it to be applied in the life of man on earth. And all of that is in me and all of that is in you.

Allah says there are seven tracts above and a like seven in you. And the wise Saudi Arabian ruler, he would say we have to come to fourteen, meaning you have to complete or fulfill the purpose for your creation in your small seven that you have down here on earth and you have to ascend in the enlightenment, in the knowledge, in the light the levels that are seven firm, seven strong tracts. And in the Bible it is called firmaments. Firm means strong, doesn't it? In the Qur'an, seven strong tracts. In the Bible you just get the picture of elevations. But in the Qur'an you get the picture that on every

elevation there is something, a world evolving, revolving, rotating.

Tawaf around the Kabah means orient yourself by the original nature

So that gives us the real picture of the true order of the heavens, the stars, moon, earth and all but it is addressing the soul of man; that you have to have a center for your movement. And while you are going in different directions vertical, horizontal, you have to hold to your core, your center, and do not get away from it. So you revolve around it. So everything has a center for keeping the life, for preserving the life. We should be holding to it and the Kabah is a symbol. We go there and we make tawaf going left to right; left to get back where we came from; the nature that G_d created, not the one in your conscious but the original nature; keep orienting yourself by the original nature going to the left.

Prayer of two persons, the one on the left side leads

And you know when there are only two persons praying which one leads the one on the left or the one on the right? The one on the left. That means if you do not know where you are going you better not lead using your own senses and thoughts; rely upon your original nature. because the third is your purpose. The one who stands in front of you is your purpose. And that Imam is supposed to know where we are going. I hope he does. Praise be to Allah.

Jumah is for education

And we cannot form Jumah with two. You have to have at least three. So the Jumah is for education. It is for enlightenment. The one who leads us is supposed to recite Qur'an and in the Qur'an there is all that we need to establish ourselves on this planet earth and be very successful, marvelously successful and that is what I see in our future.

So we are really not feeling too happy to say good bye to you! I like the expression, "All good byes are not gone". So, I'm going to leave you now and greet you, As Salaam Alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak.

I was prepared to stay here until `Asr time, but we're finished so I am leaving. I don't know if you are aware of that. However, I did say, "All good byes are not gone". So you all take care. Have a blessed Ramadan, a

blessed Eid. Allah is with us. Don't doubt that, ever! As

Salaamu Alaikum.
