Teaching Background and Philosophy

Hi! My name is Amanda Sgroi and I am a first grade teacher at Palm Valley Academy. I graduated from the University of South Florida and received my masters in Education from the University of Florida. I have taught for over ten years.

It is my mission to encourage a love of learning to all students. I believe in establishing a safeand creative classroom for student learning. This in turn inspires a positive growth mindset where each child can develop into life-long learners.
