Graphing Data

A frequency table is an organized

count of items or values. In its

simplest form a frequency table shows

how frequently each particular value

occurs in a data set.

Histograms A histogram shows the ranges into which

data points fall, but it does not show individual data points. As a result, both the mean and standard deviation can be estimated but cannot be calculated exactly.
