I am very happy to announce that our department has extended

an artistic initiative to develop the 2nd Volume of Technical

Newsletter “ELKTRONICA”.

First I would like to congratulate final year students Mr. R. Kiran

and Mr. C. Vishnu for getting placed in CODA GLOBAL.

Success is undergoing a string of failures without the loss of

enthusiasm. This is a powerful mantra that I rest my faith in.

There is no real substitute for hard work and perspiration.

Rome wasn’t built in a day but it definitely turned out to be an

unbeatable empire for decades to come. Wrestle your inner

demons wisely but do not give in. Do not let failures claim your

determination, fight and reinvent yourself to climb a rung above

on the ladder.

Most importantly, be patient and kind to yourself and to the

nearest of kith and kin. We are very proud to have associated

ourselves with promising students of our college, who I am sure,

one day turn out to be great leaders and scientists. Be strong

and cold as the ice, burn the midnight oil. Be impatient and let

curiosity burn, be patient during the downfall. But have the

courage to rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

May you all find success in this intellectual endeavor.

FET using Thread - Structure

Recent Innovation in Electronics

Engineers make transistors and electronic devices entirely from

thread. Transistors and integrated circuits made from threads are

combined with thread-based sensors to create fully flexible

devices.

A team of engineers has developed a transistor made from linen

thread, enabling them to create electronic devices made entirely of

thin threads that could be woven into fabric, worn on the skin, or

even (theoretically) implanted surgically for diagnostic monitoring.

The fully flexible electronic devices could enable a wide range of

applications that conform to different shapes and allow free

movement without compromising function.

News from HR

Chatbot is helping HR identify unhappy employees before they quit.

- Economic times

The idea of Amber took shape when Delhi based Tamaya Jain

was pursuing CSE from Shiv Nadar University, Delhi.

Unhappy with the employee satisfaction factor in the world

and the fact that employees often lack the courage to share

their problems at work with their superior. Jain Created a

AMBER Chatbot to whom employees can pour out their

troubles confidentially. It was very successful.

Interview Puzzles

Puzzle 1:

Three ants are sitting at the three corners of an equilateral triangle. Each ant starts

randomly picks a direction and starts to move along the edge of the triangle. What is

the probability that none of the ants collide?

Puzzle 2:

You have 100 doors in a row that are all initially closed. You make 100 passes by the

doors starting with the first door every time. The first time through you visit every

door and toggle the door (if the door is closed, you open it, if it is open, you close it).

The second time you only visit every 2nd door (#2, #4, #6). The third time, every 3rd

door (door #3, #6, #9) etc., until you only visit the 100th door. What state are the

doors in after the last pass? Which are open which are closed?
