Helping Learning was originally set up to support students with their revision and study when they were not in school.

Using a pc and internet access, students are able to select a teacher and see and talk to them about their work wherever they are and whenever they wish.

Helping Learning provides a switchboard on the internet through which teachers and students can communicate in real time.We have now developed a ‘closed user group’ solution for Schools and Local Authorities.

Our ‘closed user group’ solution could be adapted to satisfy

your particular requirements.

When you have viewed this

presentation call us and explain what

you would like to be able to do.

Your chosen ‘closed user group’ could, for example, be

A group of students in a school

A whole school

A federation or group of schools

A Local Authority service

Helping Learning offers a new

dimension to the idea of ‘Extended

School’.

Schools and colleges could

arrange evening, weekend and

holiday support for their students .

Helping Learning could enhance the activities of Easter

and Summer Schools.

Schools and Colleges could use Helping Learning to provide additional support for their students at crucial times in the school year.

Emergency School Closures need not present a problem - students and teachers could use Helping Learning from their homes!

Schools and Colleges could use Helping Learning to provide study support, lessons or school information for parents and others as part of their Community Provision.

Cross phase curriculum support could be offered – eg for KS2 Languages.

Once a School or College has

registered with Helping Learning they are able to

utilise the service in a variety of

ways.

G&T and SEN students could benefit from individual or small group work through Helping Learning.

National Strategies such as ‘One to One Tuition’ could be delivered remotely.

Helping Learning can help reduce

costs by enabling support to be

provided over the internet.

Schools could share

teacher/tutors or even generate

income by providing the

remote support for other schools.

Imagine a school being able to use Helping Learning to support - Emotionally vulnerable children

School refusers

Excluded students

Every school will know students

who at some time or another will

need to be withdrawn from

class .

Then there are children who find

regular school attendance

difficult to cope with

Local Authorities could use their

registration with Helping Learning to

support young people in a host of different

ways.

Reduced travel costs and maximised use of

teacher-time must make Helping

Learning worthy of further consideration.
