Around 1.16 million passenger window glass panes will be required to fulfill the current order book – over 100x the number of panes used on The Shard.
Around 650 miles of emergency floorpath lighting will be required to fulfill the aircraft order book – equivalent to the entire length of the UK.
The UK exported £400m worth of aircraft seats in 2014.
The UK designs and manufactures wings for all Airbus aircraft platforms; as well as for the new Bombardier C Series.
