Ahrend 700 tables add an extra dimension to the much-quoted principle ‘less is more’. We have pared the shape down to its essentials, thus making it timeless. At the same time the variety of worktop shapes and designs means that much more can be achieved. The table tops - either rectangular, square or triangular with concave and convex sides, seem to fl oat above the frame. This is one of the features that is just as characteristic of the Ahrend 700 as the triangular legs. These are exactly the offi ce tables, work tables and conference tables, that we had in mind. Stripped of all the unnecessary elements, pleasing to the eye, and a real pleasure to work at.

In the offi ce of today and of the future individual and team workplaces merge into each other: fl exibility sets the standard. That is why we have designed the Ahrend 700 tables for stand-alone or combined use, stationary or mobile, with fi xed or variable height. Freedom that creates space; the space to divide up and make the best possible use of each room.

We are always trying to attain the unattainable, both in the buildings and the furniture we design. Of course this is a goal that can never be reached, but the effort in itself remains an inspiring starting point. This applies to us as much as to everyone else. If you strive for the ultimate, you will nearly always achieve better than the mediocre.

So not only in offi ces and boardrooms, but also in schools and universities, libraries and conference centers. And last but not least in living-rooms and studies. Personal.Elegance must always be combined with practicality. Height-adjustable, manually or electrically 25”-34”or 29” to 37” with casters. A stylish companion for cabinets, pedestals, fi ling units and trolleys from the Ahrend line. Durable furniture that, by exceeding the norm, represents the de facto standard in its fi eld.

The omission of all unnecessary detail is an excellent point of departure, but is still noguarantee of a successful design. In the case of our Ahrend 700, these include the clean, transparent lines, the triangular cross-section of the tubing used for the base, the ‘fl oating’ worktop and the casters used on the mobile versions.
