Computer Science EngineeringComputer Science is the soul and psyche of many engineering branches. This field is instrumental in bringing the world to where it is today. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year of 2008 in this institution. It o�ers B.Tech, M.Tech in CSE.

The Department offers integrated theoretical and application skills in-depth to produce employable graduates. The department aimed to provide the value-added services to the society. The focus is on holistic learning to help the students to make significant contributions at all levels and to meet the expectations of stakeholders. The Department provides students with the knowledge and skills essential to become a multi-skilled IT professional capable of contributing to a high level working areas spanning technology development.

Also, We are encouraging the graduates to have a wide range of career paths such as programmer, network application developer, project leader, process and client manager, and IT educator. Electronics and Communication EngineeringThe Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was started in the year of 2008 which offers 4 year B.Tech course in Electronics & Communication Engineering, and 2 year M.Tech in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems. The intake for Under Graduate Program (B. Tech) is 180 and the Post Graduation program (M.Tech) VLSI Design and Embedded Systems have on 24 each. The department conducts regular seminars, guest lectures and workshops on advancement in technology.

The Department is headed by Dr. Velmani Ramasamy having vast teaching experience and ably supported by highly qualified faculty from various educational institutions with an unparallel level of expertise in their field. The Department constitutes 06 Ph.D., holders including 03 Professors, 03 Associate Professors, and 35 Assistant Professors.

The students are expanding their career through an effective career guidance and support, in order to been recruited by globally reputed companies or become as an entrepreneur.

Electrical and Electronics EngineeringElectrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) deals with the innovation, design, development and industrial applications of electrical and electronic systems, components and devices. The faculty members are expertized in electrical power generation, transmission and distribution, control systems, power systems, electronics and robotics.

The Department offering B.Tech programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and M.Tech programme in Power Electronics and Electric Drives (PE&ED) with an intake of 60 and 24 since 2008 and 2012. The department has well equipped laboratories with standard quality equipments .The department is catering to the needs of the industry by training students to make valuable contribution. The Department is endeavoring to produce highly trained and capable engineers, who can take up the challenges of the real world. The Department focuses on uncompromising academic standards in imparting both theoretical and practical instructions with a view to prepare professional engineers.

The Department is headed by Dr Mohammed Abdul Kareem, having 08 years of experience in Teaching. There are 2 Professors, 3 Associate Professors and 10 Assistant Professors in the department for UG, all faculty members are ratified by JNTUH. The department has 4 Lab Assistants to assist and maintain the labs.

All the faculty members are encouraged to participate in Faculty Development Programme, Conferences, Workshops, Publication of Research Papers and active involvement in R & D activity.

The Department develops creative thinking on concepts of Electrical Engineering to students and faculty members by providing infrastructure, innovative devices and digital library.

Mechanical EngineeringThe department was started in the academic year 2010 with an intake of 24 and intake was increased to 120 in the year of 2013. The department offers PG Course in Thermal Engineering. Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the pioneering departments of SITS having good number of faculty members with rich amount of experience in Teaching and Research and developments. Department of Mechanical engineering committed to deliver Quality of education for all-round development of students to meet the changing requirements of Industry & society. Department of Mechanical always emphasis on practical and pragmatic way of student centric education and much given importance to Outcome Based Education (OBE).

The engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis. Mechanical engineers use these core principles along with tools like computer-aided engineering and product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices and more.

Mechanical Engineers are required in all manufacturing facilities. The working criteria of a mechanical engineer changes according to the type and domain of the company they are working with and the area of specialization. In a broader sense it can be said that mechanical engineer works on design and control of a system that goes into the process of manufacturing machinery and product. He/she tests new systems for feasibility and efficiency and carries out quality management and improvement process.

There is tremendous scope for mechanical engineers in automobile engineering, cement industry, steel, power sector, hydraulics, manufacturing plants, drilling and mining industry, petroleum, aeronautical, biotechnology and many more. Nowadays they are also increasingly needed in the environmental and biomedical fields.

A beginner in Mechanical Engineering can opt for various job openings such as: Maintenance Engineer, Safety Engineer, Quality Assurance, CNC Programmer, Jr. Engineer, Design Engineer, CAD/CAM Trainer, Production Supervisor/Engineer, R&D Trainee etc.

Department of Mechanical Engineering frequently conducts Technical workshops, seminars, guest lectures, Industrial visits, Internship programmes to enhance student’s knowledge in order to meet Industry demands.

Civil EngineeringCivil Engineering is the mother of all Engineering courses and is considered as back bone of nation’s development. The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year of 2009 with an intake of 60 and upgraded to the intake of 120 in the year of 2013. The Department has been elevated to its next pedestal by offering Post Graduation in Structural Engineering with an annual intake of 36. The strength of the Department is it's faculties. The Department constitutes of 5 Ph.D. holders. The Civil Department have excellent infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories including project laboratory and R&D laboratory housed with natural lighting and ventilation and are well-maintained by technically qualified personal.

Our faculty and staff members are devoted to educate our students such that they are best equipped to serve the nation as professionals, scholars, academic leaders and entrepreneurs. The department offers concept oriented teaching-learning process coupled with practical knowledge through industry-institute interaction. Industry personnel are hired as adjunct faculties to share their practical experience and knowledge. To enhance the technical and employability skills of our students, the department encourages the students to undertake internship, in-plant training. Apart from regular curriculum, the department conducts Workshops/Guest Lectures/Industrial Visits for the students to augment their proficiency.

The department has a well established mentoring system which provides individual attention to the students in the academic and other activities. The Department also encourages its students to engage in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities to nurture their team spirit and develop organizational skills. The faculty members of the department are promoted to attend/conduct training programmes/FDPs to keep them updated.

Master of Business AdministrationIn order to meet the wide ranging, challenging and growing demands for professional Managers, in the recent times, from both the developing and the developed Nations, The Master of Business Administration Department was established in the year of 2008 and affiliated to JNTUH and OU. Under JNTUH and OU affiliations, the department offers 120 and 240 intake on each. The Department constitutes of 4 Ph.D holders and maintain 15:1 student faculty ratio.

The Department strives to develop long term relationships with industries and market the Students Talents effectively; the students are thus provided high level leads and career pathways that enable them to gain access to a broad range of high potential MBA Career Opportunities.

Even though the Department is very young; it has made a name for itself, among the top few colleges, at the university level, through its performance in the examinations and in placement.

The College of Pharmacy has highly qualified and experienced full time academic faculty. Faculty is geared up to use all modern tools for excellent Teaching & Learning process. LCDs, Digital Library, Models, PPTs, Wiksate, NPTEL Videos etc. are being extensively used by faculty to update themselves and the students. Most of the faculties in the School are involved in the research with help of the intellectual groups headed by the eminent professor of the respective area.

The College of Pharmacy is fully equipped with state of the art laboratories such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Microbiology. The College of Pharmacy is also equipped with Central Instrumentation room and Pilot Plant. These labs provide enough support to the students to complete their mini and major projects during their academic sessions. In addition the College of Pharmacyalso have Drug Information center and pharmacy care clinic unit.

Training and Placement CellThe placement cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for students passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The placement cell operated round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The number of students placed through the campus interviews is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct interviews.

Placement cell encompass in administering the database of students filtering them as per the requirements of the company, communicating the students as well as corporate is made easy and very perfect in time.

He has 15 years of teaching experience in various reputed educational institutions since 2002. His research interest includes VLSI Testing, VLSI Signal Processing and Digital Signal Processing. he is a receiver of “IATSE Teaching and Research Excellence Award” in the year 2018. To his credit, holds more than 25 publications in National and International Journals, magazines and in conference proceedings, filed 1 patents.

He possesses 10 years of experience in teaching as well as in research. His research interest includes Low Power VLSI Design, VLSI Signal Processing, Device Modeling and Wireless Sensor Network.
