Hello! My name is Charles. I live in London. I´m 54. Until last year I was a production manager in the textile industry. I had worked for the same company since I left school. I had a good job, a four bedroomed house and a company car.
When my company had to close because of economic difficulties, I became redundant. Now, I´m interested in learning a new skill, but nobody wants to hire me. I can see their point of view. I´ll have to retire in ten years, but I´m tired of sitting around the house. I´d really enjoy doing a job again... It´s not the money. I just need to feel useful.
