In this report I will tell you about a lion. I will tell you what a lion looks like, where it lives and what it eats. I will also tell you some interesting facts about a lion.

This is what a lion looks like. They are very large wildcats. Lions weigh 500 pounds. The lion’s fur is light brown. Male lions have manes around their necks and the female lions don’t have manes.

This is where a lion lives. They rest under shady trees in areas called savannahs in the continents of Africa and Asia.

This is what a lion eats. They eat zebras, wildebeasts, buffalos, gazelles, deer, and a lot of other large mammals.

Here are some interesting facts about a lion. They can live ten to fourteen years in the wild. Also, groups of female lions go and hunt for food. Lions can jump forward up to 40 feet and rest 18-20 hours each day. Lions are wildcats that live together in groups.
