We have been able to contact over90 organisations, societies and clubs involved in a wide range ofleisure activities, who all welcome people over 50 years to jointhem. I hope that the directory helps you to find a new group and thatyou can enjoy a healthier lifestyle and at the same time become moreinvolved in your local community. In addition to these clubs, theDistrict’s Leisure Development Team has started a new programmeof ‘taster activities’ from flower arranging to glass painting. Grantscan be used to purchaseequipment, produce informationor publicity leaflets, to extendservices offered etc.
