a mother's lullaby (poem)
DESCRIPTION
I can't remember when I wrote this... I believe it was when I was in grade 8 or 9.It could be taken as a lullaby sung to a child or baby by their mother.TRANSCRIPT
Hush, little darling,Don't say a word.I shall not forget you,Do not be hurt.
Hush little darling,Don't be afraid.I will keep you safe,Throughout your days.
Hold on tight,For I won't let go,My little darling.
You shall not feel,Unsafe and cold.I will be there,So dry your tears.Be not afraid,Of what shall not come.
Hush little darling,Please, not a word.No one shall find you,In these darkened woods.
