Acoustic Plaster and Acoustic Spray Seamless Ceilings
A new interpretation on sound control
-
Great looking solutions which provide high sound absorption.
A solution to enable designers to explore favourable features such as open-plan layout, without having to install unattractive suspended ceilings to control noise. We offer Acospray - a finish sprayed directly to the substrate; or Acoplaster - an ultra smooth finish applied to mineral fibre which is in turn fixed to the substrate.
• Primarily recycled natural cellulose fibres.• Well within the EU standards of 5% Borates, making it safe for both contractors and customers.
• Class A acoustic performance possible across the range
• Seamlessfinish
• Mainly recycled materials
• A solution for all budgets from coarse to smooth
• Fits curved surfaces
• Meetsfirerequirements
• Lightweight construction
• All colours possible
• Can be patch repaired
You can expect to be assisted by a member of the Institute of Acoustics, With extensive technical knowledge.
Samples available on request. Drop us an email at [email protected] or call +44(0)161 237 9139 for help.
Easily cleaned with a soft brushed vacuum cleaner and damaged areas can be patch repaired. Comes with 5 year warranty.

The finest finish for a one process system
Acospray DC2
DC2 is the least textured of the spray-only finishes. Typically used to create a homogenous texture to ceilings and add an extra ambience while also providing excellent acoustic control.

Budget acoustic spray can be applied in one coat.
Acospray DC5
DC5 is the coarsest of the spray applied finishes. Large areas can be covered very quickly and the material can be applied to many substrates, and to cover services.

Example proceedure - Acospray
• Examine surfaces to verify that the they will not be adversely affected by the spray application.
• Examine surfaces to ensure that there are no areas such as untreated wood, oxidised metal or other condition which could result in migratory staining/damage of the Acospray.
• Non water resistant plasterboard is to be thoroughly sealed with primer prior to application.
• Add fixtures such as any threaded rods to the substrate where lighting and other fixtures will be applied
• Apply Primer and allow to dry (where applicable)
• Attach profiles to perimeters and any breaks in the Acospray
• Mask the perimeter of the room and cover any surfaces which may be affected by the spray. Wipe clean floors can be cleaned after installation
• Apply Acospray• Trim edges• Remove edges

Installationdifferences
DC1 differs from the other Acospray systems in using a mineral fibre board with a 5mm layer of spray applied material. The spraying is done in two stages with a fine finishing layer with is trowelled flat.
The smoothest of the finishes
Acoplaster DC1
Acoplaster DC1 seamless acoustical plaster provides a smooth finish with Class A sound absorption. The first layer is a specialist mineral fibre of 30mm which is then coated with the plaster finish.
Key Features
• High sound absorption• High recycled content• Can be patch repaired• Colour matching• Hides wires and tubes• Light weight
