THE EGO-SOUL DYNAMICSOF LIFE AND LEADERSHIP
BASED ON THE BOOK
To explore Maslow’s idea of a larger jurisdiction for
psychology by creating a theory of
human well-being that unites science, psychology and
spirituality. A theory integrates body,
mind and soul.

THE PROBLEM OF PERCEPTION
4-DIMENSIONAL AWARENESS
ALBERT EINSTEIN
The non mathematician is seized by a mysterious shuddering when he hears of
four-dimensional things, by a feeling that is not unlike the occult.
But there is no more commonplace statement than the world in which we live is
a four-dimensional continuum.
UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN THE EGO AND SOUL REALITIES
We think we live in a three-dimensional material world, whereas we actually live in a four-dimensional energetic
world.
If we can understand the difference between two-dimensional awareness
and three-dimensional awareness then
we can get a sense of the difference between three-dimensional
awareness and four-dimensional awareness

2FORMS OF AWARENESS
In one world, everything is
particle-like—the material
dimension; a world we can observe
with our physical senses.
This world is explained by
Newtonian mechanics.
The energy dimension is the
reality of the soul
The material dimension is the reality of the ego
In the other world , everything is wave-like— the energy
dimension; a world we cannot observe with our physical senses.
This world is explained by
quantum mechanics.
We appear to live in two worlds
In world of the soul we operate with 4-D awareness and in the world of the ego
we operate with 3-D awareness.
Our physical senses can only perceive a small band of frequencies of vibration.
Our 3-D reality is a form of illusion because it is based on incomplete
information

PERCEPTION As long as we identify with our physical
body, we will be unaware of what is happening
in our 4-D energetic reality.
Examples of 4-D
Awareness
Synchronicity Feelings
Soul speak Inspiration
the ability to perceive things or events in the
future.
Clairvoyance
the ability to read the feelings of others.
Clairsentience
the ability to hear voices of non-sentient
beings.
Clairaudience
the ability to receive knowing insights.
Claircognizance
These abilities represent cracks in
our ego’s 3-D awareness through
which we experience 4-D awareness.
EXERCISEWe are going to split
into groups and share with each other our
experiences of synchronicity, soul speak, inspiration,
clairvoyance, clairaudience,

Oneness and Connectedness(no separation or isolation)
Because the soul has no awareness of time or space to give the illusion of separation, the
soul experiences a sense of oneness and connectedness.

WHAT IS AN EGO?
Because the ego identifies with the body it believes
it can die.
Your ego is a field of conscious awareness that
identifies with your physical body.
THE REALITY OF THE EGO
Because it thinks it can die,the ego believes it has
needs.Because it thinks it has needs,
it develops fears about not being able to get its needs
met.
The principal needs of the ego are: SAFET
YSECURIT
YSURVIVA
L
The ego is not who you are; it is who you think you are.
The ego represents your sense of identity in 3-D material
reality.
in the physical, social and cultural framework of your material existence.
Your Ego is the mask you wear to get your needs met
A MAN WITHOUT A MASKIS INDEED VERY RARE.One even doubts the possibility of such a man. Everyone in some measure wears a mask.
R. D. Laing, The Divided Self
The Ego is your False SelfTHE EGO MASK
WHAT . IS. A . SOUL.Your soul is an individuated aspect of
the universal energy field from which everything in our physical world
derives its being.
You don’t have a soul; your are a soul.
The soul instantaneously creates whatever it needs through its thoughts.
the soul knows it cannot die.
Because the soul identifies with your four-dimensional energy field and not with the body,
Because the soul has no needs, it has no fears. Therefore the soul has no needs.
TRUE SELF= At the level of the True
Self, we all share the same values.
UNIQUE SELF+ At the level of the Unique
Self, we all have different skills,
gifts, and talents.
The soul has 2 aspects:
SOUL SELF
Each person’s inner nature is in part unique to himself and in part
species-wide.“ ”Abraham Maslow
THE SOUL’S PURPOSE IN
INCARNATINGThe Soul is attempting to
recreate its four-dimensional energetic
reality in three-dimensional material awareness.
It does this through:Self-expression
ConnectionContribution
fears of the ego fulfilling its purpose and desires are the …
The only thing standing in the way of the soul
As the embryo and then the fetus grows and develops, the soul’s experience of 3-D material awareness increases.
The soul’s journey into 3-D awareness begins when the soul incarnates into a human body —when it takes possession of the energy field of an embryo created through the process of conception.
INCARNATION OF THE SOUL
The Soul's Journey
At this point, the pain (energetic instability) associated with the experience of separation, causes the soul to protect itself by creating a psychic buffer we call the ego.
Around the age of two, when the soul’s 3-D awareness has developed to the point that it realizes there are other people in the world, it experiences the feeling of separation. It is no longer living in a world of oneness.
CREATION OF EGO
FEELING OF SEPARATION
the ego-mind develops in 3 stages:
It learns how to survive with the aid of the body mind (0-2 years)
(the development of the reptilian mind/brain)
SURVIVAL
It learns how to stay safe with the aid of the emotional mind (3-7 years) (the development of the limbic mind/brain)
SAFETY
It learns how to keep secure with the aid of the rational mind (8-24 years)
(the development of the neocortex mind/brain)
SECURITY
Only after the ego-mind has learned how to maintain its energetic stability in its physical, societal and cultural framework of existence does the soul-mind venture into 3-D awareness again.
3-D AWARENESS
The ego-mind must let go of its fears before the soul-mind can
be reactivated.
RE-ACTIVATION OF THE
SOUL-MIND
This process is described by the Seven Stages of Psychological Development. Each stage of development requires an
expansion in conscious awareness.
Stage 3 Contribution
Serving the needs of others, future generations and society
three stages of soul activationFully expressing your character, your gifts and talents
Stage 1Self-expression
Connecting with others in unconditional loving relationships
Stage 2Connection

because that is how we are able to meet our
survival, safety and security needs.

THE BIRTH OF THE EGO
The ego begins to form soon after the limbic mind/brain becomes dominant around the age of two and continues
developing until our early 20s.
THE BIRTH OF THE EGO
The soul mind creates the ego mind when it becomes overwhelmed by the pain of
being present in 3-D material awareness. This pain is caused by the energy of
fear and separation.

03
The ego is the unknowing
guardian of the soul’s incarnation
intention.
The ego is comprised of the emotional mind
(limbic mind/brain) and the rational mind
(the neo-cortex mind/brain).
The will to survive, keep safe and feel secure is how the ego interprets the
soul’s will to be present in
3-D material awareness.

with regard to leadership and leadership development.
BECOMING ONE WITH YOUR SOULTRUSTING YOUR SOUL
BEFRIENDING YOUR SOULCONNECTING WITH YOUR SOUL
FOUR STAGES OF SOUL ACTIVATION
Set aside specific time in a specific space.
1. Assume a relaxed posture2. Progressive relaxation3. One-pointed awareness4. Let go of your thoughts
5. Feel the peace
MEDITATION
Can be done at any moment
1. Calm down by observing your breathing
2. Remember who you are3. Engage your self witness
MINDFULNESS
CONNECTING WITH YOUR SOUL
Other strategies for connecting with your soul from a place of mindfulness
My mind chose to give this situation all the meaning
it has for me.
Why did I chose to give it this meaning? What is the fear? What needs do I have that
are not being met?
1. EVERY EVENT IS NEUTRAL
The situation is either perfect because:
It feels good (or) It feels painful and the pain is telling me what
I need to work on. OR
It is perfect because I trust my soul to guide my life.
2. EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS PERFECT
BEFRIENDING YOUR SOUL
A friend is someone who you can rely on to help you and give you advice when you are in need.
When you care for a friend, they will care for you.
When you care for your soul, your soul will care for you.
TRUSTING YOUR SOUL
1) Practice non-attachment
to outcomes
“I HAVE NO NEEDS”
2) Practice soul-speak
Allow your soul to express its thoughts
BECOMING ONE WITH YOUR SOUL
1
Change how you identify yourself
2Learn to
differentiate between ego thoughts and soul thoughts
4Observe your feelings
3Listen and
