National Safai Karamcharis Finance &

Development Corporation (NKSDFC)

National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation(NSKFDC), a wholly owned Govt. of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (M/o SJ&E) was set up on 24th January 1997 as a Company “Not for Profit” under Section 25 of the Companies

Act, 1956. NSKFDC is in operation since October, 1997, as an Apex Corporation for the all-round socio-economic upliftment of the Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers and their dependants throughout India, through various loan and non-loan based schemes. FFSC and NSKFDC has signed MoU for skilling the dependents of manual scavengers and safai karmacharis on 4th May 2017 for the year 2017-18.



National Schedule Castes Finance &

Development Corporation (NSFDC)

NSFDC is an institution under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India for financing, facilitating and mobilizing funds for the economic

empowerment of persons belonging to the Scheduled Castes families living below Double the Poverty Line. NSFDC finances income generation schemes for the target group through the State Channelising Agencies (SCAs) nominated by respective State/UT Governments

Urban Clap

UrbanClap is a services marketplace which

helps customers hire reliable and trusted

service professionals for various needs

ranging from electrician, carpenters,

appliance repair, technician, painters and

plumbers etc. FFSC is aiming to skill

individuals and recognise the skills of the

workforce across the country. UrbanClap is

looking for skilled workforce across different

trades across the top cities of India.

UrbanClap is now working in 8 cities Delhi

NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai,

Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.

FFSC has signed an MoU with UrbanClap to

provide a micro-entrepreneurial opportunity

to professionals.

Skill India- Exhibition & Rojgar Mela at Deoghar, Jharkhand Skill exhibition and Rojgar Mela was

organised in Deogarh on 2nd April 2017.

Minister of Labour and Employment

Bandaru Dattatreya visited the skill

exhibition event in Deogarh. More than 7000

candidates and 55 companies participated in

the event, jobs offered to 1500+ candidates.

Shri Arvind Raj Kamal, District Collector,

inaugurated the 2 day Rojgar Mela being

organized in Deoghar on 4th and 5th April

2017. More than 55 companies participated

at this event. 20 Sector Skill Councils

demonstrated and counselling was done to

help these candidates to earn a better

livelihood through skills.

FFSC at Skill India celebration of 100 years of Champaran Satyagraha movement in Motihari,Bihar Skill India celebrated 100 years of Champaran Satyagrah Movement, in Motihari, Bihar from 13th to 19th April 2017. 14th -16th April RPL of 115 candidates was conducted. Every day Skill Competition was conducted from 14th to 19th April. The three best perfomrmers were awared with tool kits of FFSC.

Training Partner’s Meet FFSC has organised a Training Partner’s Meet of on 25th May 2017 to discuss the current challenges in skill development training. The

ways to improve the quality training and few success stories were discussed in the meeting. The Training Partner’s discussed their experiences, concerns and new initiatives in the meeting.

New Governing Council Member KERALA ARTISANS' DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (KADCO) has become one of the new Governing Council Member of FFSC. KERALA ARTISANS' DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (KADCO), was formed in 1981 with the aim of providing a pivotal role in the socio-economic betterment of

artisans in the State. KADCO provides assistance to the indigent artisans of Kerala, engaged in their various trades by protecting their rightful interests and benefits through numerous well conceived and though out schemes. These are carried out in the form of financial packages, promotions, seminars, self employment opportunities, among other novel schemes.

8th Governing Council Meeting On 14th June 2017, the 8th Governing Council Meeting was held at Godrej Interio Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd Mumbai, India. The Mobile Skill Van of Caple Industrial

Solution was inaugurated by Mr. Anil Mathur, Chairman and Mr. Anil Goel, Co-Chairman of FFSC. Certificates were also distributed to 8 RPL candidates of Capel Industrial Solution.
