Effects On The Health Of Someone Who Plays Games A Excessive

• Strain on the eyes cause you to feel tired.• Over aggression toward the game causes blood pressure to rise.• Taking the game too seriously can make you angry at others and make you react differently than normal.• Gain of weight due to not exercising because of playing games long periods of time.

Comparing People Who Play Games Many Hours A Day To Those Who Don’t.

People Who Play Alot• Seem to be more self

centered and care more about what is happening in the game world rather than real life.

• Seem to not care as much about what people think of them or how to look to others.

• Also tend to be more over weight because of lack of exercise and personal grooming seems to also be worse .

People Who Play Less• Seem to be more concerned

with there life and there future and education.

• Also are not as aggressive toward some things and more considerate.

• More talkative with people they don’t know more willing to open up.

Effects On School

• Playing for long hours makes your eyes strained and makes it hard to motivate yourself to do homework or choirs.• Doesn’t seem to directly affect grades some that play for several hours seem to actually have better grades.• People who play a lot seem to have less extra curricular activities than those who don’t.• Sleeping in class seems to happen with those who play a lot.

Effects On Social Life

People who play games a lot do seem to be more withdrawn and not like to go to places with large groups of people they don’t know they also seem to know less people well the people who don’t. People who play games a lot seem to like to be more alone or in small groups with people they know well.

Does Playing Games A lot Make People More Aggressive?

Well yes and no because yes it makes stress and frustrates people who play a lot but most seem to use the game to relieve the stress and anger but it does cause for some long periods of time with heavy stress not so good for your health.

Does Playing Games A lot Cause Loss of Sleep?Yes all of them say that they play games so much they get caught up in them and loose track of time and spend the entire night playing games after many days of doing this it catches up to you.

Does Playing Long Periods of Time Harm Your Vision?

I actually asked a doctor this and he said that it hasn’t been shown in any tests that it does but its possible it could. The people I asked who played games said that it doesn't seem to bother them but its sometimes hard to focus there eyes at different distances.

Conclusion

So the question is are video games addictive? I answer yes because some people do get caught up in games so much that they stop worrying about there life and play games some have lost jobs and there family even because of there addiction to video games and its actually more people than you might think that get caught up in game playing.
