5th Grade Students Celebrate the Royal Wedding of Kate & William

STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT CURRENT EVENTS!

On Friday, April 29, 2011, 5th grade students celebrated the royal wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton with a traditional English Tea Party. W i t h t h e r o y a l w e d d i n g i n t h e background on the smart board, students enjoyed all of the trappings of an English tea party. The menu included t e a , b r e a d , b u t t e r , c a k e s , t i n y sandwiches, appetizers, cakes, cookies and shortbread. Many of the tea party foods were prepared by the students themselves. District administration, including, Dr. Feeley, Superintendent, stopped by to enjoy the festivities. It was a wonderful time for all!
