Good Times Day Camp has been family owned and operated since 1979.

Good Times Day Camp is currently enrolling children ages 4 through 12 in its 17th annual summer day camp.

This year there will be 9 weeks of FUN from June 14th to August 13th.

Mission StatementTo provide a fantastic experiencefor each camper in a safe, fun-filled atmosphere where children create memories as well as build importantskills that will last a lifetime.

Camp DirectorTo ensure the camp’s goal is achieved, Peggy Clatch, the camp director/owner is involved with every aspect of the camp program. Peggy hasher professional degree, extensive early childhood education, and a lifetime of experience and dedication to caring for children. Shedemonstrates her devotion to the campers on a daily basis throughher camp spirit, program guidance, staff involvement, enthusiasticinstruction, and parent communications. Staff & RatiosGood Times prides itself in the safe, fun-filledenvironment which it provides for its campers. Camperto counselor ratios are kept low in an effort to maintainsafety. Also, we only employ counselors with collegelevel experience who demonstrate a high degree of responsibility, outstanding enthusiasm for the campers,and a special talent beneficial to the camp program. Allthe counselors undergo a training/orientation processthat includes first aid and CPR and are taught firstto respect the individual needs of each camper. Manyof our counselors return year after year and build lasting friendships with each other, the campers, andthe campers’ families.

Splash Into SwimmingOn Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, the campers have timefor swimming with their friends. Good Times Camp usesVernon Hills Aquatic Center, Wheeling Aquatic Center,Elk Grove Village’s Rainbow Falls and Mundelein’s BarefootBay. All campers will have the opportunity to utilize variouswater slides, diving boards, sea serpents, sand play areas, andsplash toys. Each pool also has specific areas designated for lessexperienced swimmers. Safety is alwaysour first concern! Besides the hiredlifeguards watching the pool, Good TimesCamp stations all of our counselors instrategic positions around and within theentire pool.

When it comes to Sports — Good Times Campers Have Lots to Choose From!Whenever Good Times is not splashing in the pool or offon an exciting field trip, there are games being played!

Sports are an integral part of each camper’s summerexperience. All of our sports activities stress participationand fun in favor of competition.

Good Times has lots of age and ability appropriatesports equipment to ensure all campers’ safety andsuccess in their efforts. Soft-core bats, cushionedsoccer balls, and undersized footballs are just a fewof the examples of the age and ability appropriate equipment that is standard for our campers.
