Recognising the problem

average: 9,24% (4-20%) assuming, that no answer from 65%

~20% (9,7-32,0%) But the result is intuitive – even gminas said

that they had not had this problem recognized Poor families pay for energy bills and resign

from other expenditures

these are 2.6 mln people - in gminas which answered for the survey

Taking into account the size of the sample (35%) – the problem concerns 7,4 mln people in Poland

Conclusions

We need: to define the borders – official definition of the

energy poverty to diagnose the problem – describing and

elimination the reasons of ignorance in that topic, motivation of gminas to cataloguing the problem

to implement activities for the stable improvement of the people suffer from energy poverty

to improve the awareness/information and educational campaigns for gminas and energy users
