Octopus
This sea creature has eight legs.

The cuttlefish sprays ink when it is attacked.
Starfish
A starfish can regenerate a lost arm.
Fire worm
Fire worms eat dead fish.
Anemone
The anemone captures its prey with its deadly stinging tentacles.
Jellyfish
Lately the Maltese sea waters have been invaded by jellyfish.
Seaweed
Extracts from seaweeds are used in toothpaste, ice-cream and many other foods.
Sea Sponge
Sea sponges are usually used to wash newborn babies.
Coral
Coral is used to make precious jewelry.
Sea Urchin
The sea urchin uses it's spines to move around.
Spiny Lobster
The spiny lobster does not have two big claws on the front.
Limpets
Limpets are found on rocks by the sea shore. They eat only at night.
Pen Shell
Pen shells grow in sandy areas at the bottom of the sea.
Amberjack
Amberjacks can grow up to the size of a man.
Grouper
The grouper is a carnivorous fish (it eats other fish).
Dolphin
Dolphins can stay up to 15 minutes under water, but they cannot breath under the water.
