THE INTRODUCTION Curtis had Cathy at “Hello!” when he opened the door when she arrived at a mutual friend’s BBQ. THE

PROPOSAL Curtis lured Cathy to the Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, where he proposed in the middle of a suite dec-

orated with roses and candles. THE WEDDING The color scheme started with baby pinks for the ceremony, then hot pink for the

cocktail hour, to shades of red for the reception. The evening included unique elements such as a photo booth, a bubble wrap dance and
