STRIDE provides you with the tools
and inspirations you need, to work on those challenges
that you knew for a long time you wanted to work on,
but didn’t really know how to start.

The STRIDE CoLead program is an 8-month incubator for social innovation
which empowers you to develop critical collaborative leadership skills and
become a force for good.
Designed as a transformative learning journey, CoLead offers a way to
experiment and explore taking action through embarking on a (ad)venturing
process. You co-create your own learning vehicle be it a startup, a campaign or
whatever else you come up with.
All of this is offered in a uniquely adaptive frame of learning & doing that we
call STRIDE "unschooling". This learning methodology is based on:
unDiploma for Collaborative Leadership and Social Innovation
CoLead
STRIDE is the unSchool that enables holistic, integrated and highly customised
learning processes to make real change possible.
STRIDE - CHANGE Y(OUR) TOMORROW
collaborative leadership,
real-life implementation (learning by doing),
active discovery,
learner defined content (you define what you wish to learn
- with our support).

There is an increasing number of people asking themselves what they are
actually doing and engaging with and how to lead their life, fueled by an urge
for finding purpose and meaning. Through experiencing, intensive self-reflection,
as well as deep personal research, you find out what your passions are and what you
want to dedicate your career and life towards. You become skilled in the art of asking
questions to interact differently with your surroundings and solve relevant problems.
You develop a personal practice to reconnect to yourself and the world. Through
this, you can act from a place of inner strength and take leadership when required.
Humanity is facing severe and urgent challenges, from inequality to global warming
and migration. Now more than ever, we need highly committed people to take action
and contribute to make tomorrow’s world better than today’s. Be a changemaker
by learning to develop personal, organisational and societal theories of change.
Co-create resilient high-performance teams and develop a deep understanding
of collaboration. Learn true relation-building on a professional and personal level
instead of just networking. Dig deeper into matters of concern by attending topical
STRIDE Labs so that you can develop skills and expertise where they are most
needed.
The notion of “work” is changing rapidly: digitalization, AI and the rise of robotics
are contributing to a future in which different skills will be needed for still-to-emerge
jobs. Build and develop your own toolbox of methods, skills and expertise in order
to thrive in ever changing environments. Learn how to lead and facilitate processes
to “navigate the unknown” and how to foster environments of collaborative leadership.
Learn to spot trends and how to navigate the vast amount of opportunities based on
your personal interests and growing capabilities.

STRIDE for me is like a small quiet island
in the middle of our noisy times, where we create time
and space to search and train with
processes and skills as an informal way for collaboration.
I’m starting to sense how this approach will help
us analyse the big problems of our time
in a more comprehensible way and shape new sustainable
solutions together.

You learn best when it makes you buzz. Joy and feeling alive is an often
undervalued part of (y)our learning experience. Real learning means facing
uncertainty and not-knowing; it takes you over the edges of your comfort zone,
and this can sometimes be demanding. We ensure that you'll stay connected
and that you develop a deepening trust into the wisdom and direction that
the search for joy and aliveness can bring.
How you learn
P E R S O N A L I Z E D L E A R N I N G
L E A R N I N G T O G E T H E RYou co-found a real team-venture. In this process, you constantly have to step
out of your comfort zone, experience and experiment with the new skills you
learn. Together with reflecting, discussing and understanding theories, you
build your essential collaborative leadership skills and engage in a process
of world-making.
We understand learning as a personal process which happens partially in
a collective environment proceeding from "know-what" to "know-how".
Together with your coaches, you set up and continuously work on an individual
learning contract. You set your own learning goals, how you will get there
and how you will know you got there. You receive personal support to achieve
the goals relevant to you.
L E A R N I N G W I T H J O Y
Learning through a process-oriented design, you maximise individual learning within an inspiring group of peers.
7|
In this unschool way of doing things,
you really create your own journey.
You don’t know how it is going to look like,
but you create it on the way.
You get out of the program with what
you need for the next step.

L E A R N I N G L A B SSTRIDE Labs support you to develop profound, cutting-edge knowledge and
competences for personal and societal transformation you cannot google.
Labs are chosen according to personal needs and interests in order to develop
skills and expertise where they are most needed (see also STRIDE DEEP and
CORE options, p.19).
Learning formats
We have fixed weekly co-working days in order to ensure working on STRIDE
individual and team tasks. On these days the provided coachings for individuals
or teams take place as well as the morning body-mind practice. Furthermore,
STRIDE and Impact Hub network have many additional events that you can
participate in to increase your network, skills and knowledge.
“Build-ups” are curated intensive workshops, which fuel the transformative
learning. The monthly sessions last usually 2 days and take place from Friday
to Saturday. There are 3 offsite sessions of 3-9 days taking place in Berlin and
the Swiss mountains. They include for example creative experiments, crisp
input, coaching, peer-learning, mobile classrooms, project development,
individual reflection, body-mind practices.
Decide how much space and time STRIDE should take in your life and enhance your learning experience as you wish.
