TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH

► Lunch at Ubud Inn followed by free time to explore Ubud.

► Attend an exclusive Royal Palace tour and dinner at the Peliatan

► WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH

► Visit to Tirta Empul holy spring temple, considered a sacred site to

purify the soul and mind by the Balinese people.

► Indulge in a delicious lunch above panoramic views of the Mt. Batur

volcano.

► A fun introductory workshop with teachers of traditional Balinese

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH

► Early morning herbal walk to learn how Bali’s native plants are used

in traditional medicine, food and body care products.

► Private tour and coffee with Agung Rai, the founder and visionary

behind the world-renowned ARMA Museum.

► Lunch at ARMA, then afternoon free time.

► Visit to a local Women’s Center where you’ll join a gentle yoga class

and hear about the founder’s dream to create a space where

Balinese women can support each other and learn new skills.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST

► Head to Amed, lunch and sightseeing along the way.

► Settle into hotel.

► Free time.

► Dinner on own and evening free.

Amed refers to a long stretch of shoreline

on B a l i ’ s n or t h e a s t c oa s t , m a d e u p of

small fishing villages divided by large

hills and river valleys. The area only

received an official road a little over 15 years ago,

and while it is known to visitors as a great spot for

diving, the area’s local residents make a living mainly

from fishing and salt -making. Amed is one of the

poorer areas in Bali due to limited land suitable for

g r o w i n g r i c e a n d l e s s t o u r i s m t h a n o t h e r a r e a s ,

however you’ll still find ornate ceremonies and lively

c e l e b r a t i o n s u p a n d d o w n t h e c o a s t y e a r - r o u n d .

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD

► Head to East Bali Immersion, an eco-camp on a cashew plantation

focused on immersing visitors into life in East Bali.

presentation.

► Head to Lovina, settle into hotel.

► Delicious fish dinner on the beach and evening bonfire and music.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH

► Free time or visit to Bali Mandara, a free boarding school for

high-achieving students from underprivileged families.

► Lunch in Lovina.

► Visit Narayan Seva, an orphanage that organizes exceptional

educational and recreational programs for the children.

► Dinner at Narayan Seva, then evening free.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND

► Wake up early for a stunning sunrise boat ride and snorkeling.

► Free time.

► After lunch, learn about eco-bricks at Peduli Alam, a non-profit

focused on waste management and recycling in Amed.

► Witness the practice of a local healer at his home in the jungle.

► Dinner on own and evening free.

LOCATION 3 : LOVINA

Lovina Beach is a quiet coastal area in the

northwest of Bali. Lovina is about 5km

west of the bustling city of Singaraja,

which actually was the former capital

of Bali. Lovina is known for its calm beaches and

the many spectacular waterfalls you’ll encounter

as you head inland into the hills. The word “Lovina”

has a philosophical meaning, as it is a combination

o f t h e w o r d " L o v e " f r o m E n g l i s h a n d " I n a , " a

B a l i n e s e w o r d m e a n i n g " m o t h e r . ” T h i s c a n b e

interpreted more literally to mean “motherly love,” or

m or e m e t a ph or i c a l l y t o m e a n “ l ov e m o t h e r e a r t h . ”

which has planted artificial coral reef structures to help restore

the once devastated coral reefs of Pemuteran Bay.

► Explore a local turtle hatchery where they are working toward

increasing the number of sea turtles in Bali’s seas.

► Visit a traditional healer who specializes in channeling spirits.

► Dinner on your own and evening free

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH

► Head to Pemuteran.

► Settle into hotel, lunch on your own.

► Free time or hike in the mangroves of West Bali National Park.

► Come together for an authentic Balinese dinner at a local family’s

home.

► Head out on a special night trip to Melanting Temple, Bali’s

temple for prosperity.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH

► Day trip to Menjangan Island to snorkel over the amazing coral

reefs (lunch on the island).

► Dinner on own and evening free.

LOCATION 4 : PEMUTERAN
