Well hello there!We warmly welcome you to the Bacon Theatre this autumn for another full programme of events for the whole family.

This season brings fantastic live music from all areas including Ben Waters, Johnny Coppin and Money for Nothing, plus a stunning performance from the finest purveyors of rhythm & blues, The Blues Band. NT Live and RSC Live screenings continue with a variety of breathtaking broadcasts. Other stage highlights include a festive choral treat from EveryVoice Choir, Vienna Festival Ballet’s beautiful rendition of Sleeping Beauty, and the Little Blue Monster Company’s full of fun show, Lost and Found. Also, don’t miss out on our festive film with a special guest appearance from Father Christmas himself!

Award-winning Pianists, Cheltenham native Philip Miles and Lydia Aoki perform one of the most celebrated of Rachmaninov’s works, on two pianos. The programme also includes piano works by J.S.Bach, Scarlatti and Liszt, it promises to be a spectacular evening showcasing some of the highlights of classical piano repertoire.

Performed by Dean Close School Scholars, this famously rollicking romp through London is a tale of deception, love and lust between beggars, thieves, strumpets and handsome highwayman Macheath as they drink, cheat, lie and sing their way through the low life streets. The famous Beggar’s Opera, neither an opera nor a musical, but a play with songs, has been a huge hit show since 1728, when it took the London theatres by storm. This production promises no less.
