TRAINING & PLACEMENT CELL :

A dedicated T&P Cell , having team size of 8 staff members, works under the PCET's Central Training & Placement Cell.

TRAININGTraining of the students in the Technical Domain as well as for Campus Placement is done for improving number of placements. A special Soft Skills Department is grooming the students for their overall development including language skills, communications skills, interview skills, etiquettes and mannerism, group discussions, spoken english, etc.Mock Interviews (Technical and HR both) are conducted for all the pre-final year students. Practice GDs – Students are periodically given opportunities for practice group discussions. Customised Training is Organisad for the improvements.

PLACEMENTMore than 250 companies are provided during the last year for the campus placement.

INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL : A special cell for collaborating academics with industries is working under the guidance of industry experts. A team of 12 staff members works for the Industry Institute Interaction function. Around 140 MoUs are done by this team with the industries from all the sectors. Here joint activities are performed among industry and NMIET. Few of the companies are mentioned below -

Activities like Campus Placement, Technical Guest Sessions , Internship, Vacation Training, Joint Research Work, CSR activities, Sharing of Resources, Training of industry Personnel by Professors, Final Year Projects, etc are included in Industry Institute Interaction.

CAREER COUNSELING CELL :

Career Counseling Cell is available for the students. Students can directly approach for the counseling. Periodic sessions of counselor are arranged to all the classes as per time table. Literature and books are made available in the central library for career related topics.
