Park Information and Suggestions

● Most rides are 3D/4D simulation rides and are indoors. Rain or shine they rarely shut down. Be aware in case you get motion sickness.

● Do Not eat or drink lots of sugar/candy/sodas and then go on roller coasters. It can make you sick. Be smart. You are allowed to bring in a bottle of water with you.

● The Jimmy Fallon show/ride requires tickets. They are free but you need to reserve them ahead of time and then come back for your showtime. Get tickets early.

● Watch the parades! Watch out for the parades - they sometimes close streets when you are trying to get somewhere. Even if you aren’t watching the parade, know what time it starts so you can navigate around the park.

● Get your picture made with a lifesize Transformer!!!!!! (Bumble Bee, Optimus Prime, & Megatron)

● Most rides do not allow you to bring bags or phones with you. There are free lockers throughout the park near each ride. They require a thumbprint and for you to remember your locker number. You CANNOT leave your things in a locker for the entire day. After a certain time period the lockers expire so you will have to get your belongings after each ride.

● Do the BIG rides or your FAVORITE rides first. (Harry Potter/Transformers/Jurassic Park/Hulk/Minions/Gringotts/Mummy) These tend to have the longest lines.

● Plan on having more time in the parks on Friday. Our performances are on Saturday so plan your day appropriately.

● We will enter one of the parks each day. Your entire group may park hop by getting on the Hogwarts Express. You have to have your “Park Hopper” ticket to get on but it connects the two parks. You MAY NOT exit the park into City Walk and walk to the other park entrance. If you park hop, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to travel between stations on the train. At certain times of the day, it gets busy.

● Not all of the rides are roller coasters.

● There is a Starbucks inside Universal Studios (Your Chaperone may need this!!)

● Drink LOTS and LOTS of water. You can quickly get dehydrated while in the park, especially since you are not used to the Florida weather.

● Wear sunscreen. Your skin will thank you!

● Purchase the refillable drink cups. There are freestyle machines throughout the park which you can get sodas and/or water. You can even get ICEES in them for the day. If you are planning on drinking 2-3 drinks throughout the day it will pay for itself. They can be reactivated for the second day.

● If you want to buy souvenirs….GREAT!!!! Think about the best time to purchase them. If you buy them early in the day you have to carry them all day - Yes, YOU have to carry them….not your Chaperone. Also, don’t wait until Saturday night when we are trying to leave. Once the Awards Ceremony is over there is no time left to shop.

Download the Universal app before you go. It is FREE! Use the app for: Wait times Show times Park map Ride/Show descriptions
