FIELD TRIPS FOR SPRING 2010

Ovetta Vermillion was “volunteered” to be the field tripchairman; nevertheless, Ed Vermillion and Bill Lyon willcontinue to solicit group leaders for individual field trips as theneed arises. Please come to meetings to help us organizethese trips and to receive last-minute information on gettingthere. Please volunteer to lead field trips. (Please notethat field trip chairman is not synonymous with field tripleader!)

The insurance for our field trips now appears to be set upthrough the Federation. This means, in general, that manytimes guests will not be allowed on field trips unless they aremembers of clubs in the Federation. This is especially trueof quarries and other commercial sites where legal waiversmust be signed in order to collect.

Take a Look at our Rock Club’s Website:http://www.freewebs.com/agmfc/index.htmSend any comments to Dennis Swing,

[email protected] save them for our next meeting.
