Introduction The province of Corrientes is one of the 23 provinces

that make up the Republic of Argentina, located in the Northeast Region of Argentina. Its capital is the city of Corrientes.

It was founded in 1588 by the Spanish conquistadors as San Juan de la Vera of the Seven Streams.

The name is because the capital city was in front of two rivers converge: the River Paraguay and River Parana

Description Agriculture is highly developed and is one of the

pillars of its economy. It also develops the forest industry in central and northeast of the province, being themost forested province in the country.

Corrientes Capital Is characterized by the beautiful view of the Parana

River and its waterfront. Also, its carnivals are distinguished as one of the best.

The beaches are lively and a large percentage of fishing activity.

Paso de la Patria Is a tourist town that is 30 kilometers from the capital.

Can be found fishing days and tournaments between April and October because it borders the river Parana

The “Fiesta Nacional del Dorado" takes place in the days of August in Paso de la Patria.

Goya Fishing in Goya, Corrientes, is hosting thousands of

tourists who seek the surubí, it abounds in this area.

Los Esteros del Iberá, Corrientes This natural paradise is home to alligators, marsh
