A Visit To The Zoo

Last summer, Sonny went for a vacation in Malaysia. He flew to Malaysia using Air New Zealand.

His first place to visit was the zoo. It is called Zoo Negara.

As soon as he got his ticket, he rushed in the zoo to begin his journey. As he was walking, he was taken aback with the beautiful scenery around the zoo.

The first animal he saw was snakes. Snakes are reptiles. They lay eggs and are cold-blooded animals. He was shocked to see snakes in Malaysia as there are no snakes in New Zealand. He took loads of pictures of snakes he found to show his friends back home.

Then, he came across two tigers who were playing. Tigers are mammals. Mammals are hot-blooded animals and they give birth to their young. They have stripes on their body. He tried taking pictures with them but they started to attack him. He ran away.

As he ran away from the tigers, he came to the orang utans cage. Orang utans are mammals. They are in the same family as monkeys. Female orang utans give birth to their young. Sonny took some pictures of them as they look similar to humans.

As he finished seeing all the animals in the zoo, Sonny continued his journey to visit other interesting places in Malaysia.
