“When I was a pet sitter and dog walker,

my favorite part of the job was giving

owners peace of mind while they were

gone. I know as a pet parent that it’s

stressful leaving your pet behind. I was glad

to relieve some of that stress. Now working

on the administrative side of pet sitting/

dog walking, I can still give pet owners the

peace of mind knowing that their pets are

scheduled to receive the best care by mem-

bers of the A Whole Lotta Love team with-

out having to go outside in the heat myself.

I am thankful for that!”

Pet in the Spotlight

Judie is a twelve year old torti-colored feline who has been a member of the AWLL family since July of 2010. Judie originally showed up at Diane Reynolds and Jo Rice's door weighing in at only seven pounds and infested with fleas.

But she quickly made herself at home.

Diane and Jo report that Judie loves to sit in her hammock on their screened-in porch. She yawns at the door when she wants to come inside. But that is not the only trick she knows. Judie sits at her bowl when she wants her food. And her favorite food is Fancy

Feast.

Although, after all that Fancy Feast, Ju-

die still tries to maintain her girlish fig-

ure by sitting on the home scale to get her kitty weigh-in. For all her special

reasons we are so glad to give Judie a well-deserved place in our pet spotlight

this month!

National Guide Dog Month

September marks the time to honor and raise awareness for the hard working and dedicated Guide Dogs who are helping people every day of the year. According to Wikipedia, the costs of training a guide dog can be as much as $40,000 and take up to two years. National Guide Dog Month has been established to help raise funds for Guide Dog Schools accredited by the International Guide Dog Federa-tion (IGDF). Donations can be made at Petco stores nationwide. 100% of the

proceeds go to IGDF schools.
