Watercolour tips

• Begin by creating light washes • Build up colours light to dark• Use water to blend colours

together• Use a dry brush as a mop if you

add too much water • For fine detail, ensure your

surface is dry first and use a small brush

• Add detail with watercolour pencils if you prefer
