WORLD-CLASS R&D

ALLOYSERAMET designs, produces and processes a unique array of materials, from high performance steels and titanium or aluminium superalloys to high speed steels, in which it is the world leader. ERAMET Alloys is comprised of two companies, Aubert & Duval and Erasteel.

The Group makes forged and closed die-forged parts, long or flat products obtained by forging, rolling and drawing, and metal powders by gas atomization. ERAMET Alloys serves high-tech markets such as aerospace as well as the energy, transport, tooling and medical sectors. It is also the global benchmark for powder

metallurgy.

NICKELERAMET mines the major nickel deposits in New Caledonia. It is the world’s second-biggest ferronickel producer and one of only three high-purity nickel producers worldwide. ERAMET Nickel is comprised of four companies: SLN, which operates the New Caledonian mines, the Sandouville refinery, Eurotungstene, and PT Weda Bay Nickel, which is dedicated to the hydrometallurgical projects currently being examined in Indonesia.

An integrated producer, ERAMET Nickel converts ore locally into ferronickel and nickel matte in its Doniambo plant in New Caledonia. Ferronickel is sold to stainless steel makers, while nickel matte is processed into nickel metal and high-purity salts in its Sandouville, France plant.

MANGANESE

#2 producer of high grade manganese ore for steelmaking

ERAMET is the only manganese producer with bases in the three main consumption zones: Europe, United States and Asia. It is also one of the few global manganese leaders with presence across the entire value chain, from mining through to processing. ERAMET Manganese’s activity is centred on COMILOG and SETRAG for the mining, beneficiation and transport of ore in Gabon, ERACHEM for chemicals and ERAMET Norway, ERAMET Marietta, COMILOG Dunkerque and the Guilin unit for alloys.

ERAMET is opening two major industrial facilities for the future: C2M in Gabon for manganese alloys and metal, and Grande Côte in Senegal (TiZir Ltd) for ilmenite and zirconium. The Group is also looking into the value of a strategic deposit containing niobium, tantalum and rare earths in Maboumine, Gabon.

An integrated producer, ERAMET Nickel converts ore locally into ferronickel and nickel matte in its Doniambo plant in New Caledonia. Ferronickel is sold to stainless steel makers, while nickel matte is processed into nickel metal and high-purity salts in its Sandouville, France plant.

MANGANESE

ERAMET is the only manganese producer with bases in the three main consumption zones: Europe, United States and Asia. It is also one of the few global manganese leaders with presence across the entire value chain, from mining through to processing. ERAMET Manganese’s activity is centred on COMILOG and SETRAG for the mining, beneficiation and transport of ore in Gabon, ERACHEM for chemicals and ERAMET Norway, ERAMET Marietta, COMILOG Dunkerque and the Guilin unit for alloys.

ERAMET is opening two major industrial facilities for the future: C2M in Gabon for manganese alloys and metal, and Grande Côte in Senegal (TiZir Ltd) for ilmenite and zirconium. The Group is also looking into the value of a strategic deposit containing niobium, tantalum and rare earths in Maboumine, Gabon.
