Visits from people whosupport you and yourfamily during theCoronavirus outbreakDuring the Coronavirus outbreak,some essential visits from peoplelike health and care visitors, socialworkers and housing staff still needto happen.Sometimes they will need to wear personal protectiveequipment called ‘PPE’. This is gloves, an apron, a face maskand sometimes eye protection. It’s part of the measures toslow the spread of the Coronavirus.

PPEProfessionals who visit your homeduring this time will not normallywear PPE.
They need to wear PPE if:
� Someone in the household has aspecific health condition whichmeans they are being ‘shielded’for an initial 12 weeks
� Someone in the household hassymptoms of the Coronavirus
� They need to be closer than 2metres to someone to carry outtheir job. For example, weighinga baby
What can you do to help?
� Make sure you check the identityof the visitor
� Tell the visitor if anyone in thehouse has a new continuouscough or a high temperature
� Keep everyone more than 2metres away from the visitor
� Wash your hands often
