RAAF C-17 GLOBEMASTER FLYPAST at 1.00pm

(time is subject to RAAF operational requirements)

This year we have the pleasure of seeing a flypast by the RAAF C-17 Globemaster. The C-17 is based at RAAF Base Amberley and is used for transport operations. It allows Australia to rapidly deploy troops, supplies, combat vehicles, heavy equipment and helicopters anywhere in the world. With a wing span of 51.75m and weight of 128 tonnes empty, the C-17 is an impressive aircraft.
