In reply to your letter dated November 3, 1983 concerning expenditures for assays on the aboveOmentloned claims, further Information Is required to support your submission. Please provide the following, In duplicate:

1) certificate of analysis showing sample number and results of the assays

2) a plan, showing sample location and sample numbers. The plan should be at a scale not exceeding 1 Inch to 500 feet and not less than l Inch to 100 feet. All claim lines, claim numbers, lot and concession, lakes, roads, rivers and other Important topographic features must be shown on the plan. In addition, the scale and north direction must be shown

Dear Sir:

I am advised by the Mining Recorder's Office that assessment work cannot be recorded against the above-noted claims for the cost of surveys in the absence of proof of expenditures.

In all, Amede Lafontaine and the writer arranged for 92 assays to be done and as you are aware the cost of a gold assay is usually in the flO.OO range. While there was very little cash outlay to the claim holders the assays were in fact performed as part of arrange ments with a mining company to perform them on our behalf.

I am enclosing an affidavit as to the assaying which I trust can be accepted as proof of 92 assays at an average cost of. flO.OO perassay for a total of 60 days of assessment work, to be apportioned equally between the four claims.

Tour favourable consideration of this expenditure will be appreciated. ~

AFFIDAVIT

I, J. STEUART ROBERTSON, of the City of Trenton, in the County of

Hastings, Solicitor, make oath and say as follows:

1. Amede Lafontaine and J. Stewart Robertson are the recorded

holders of four unpatented mining claims, numbers TB604074

to 77 inclusive.

2. As part of an arrangement with a mining company, the said

Amede Lafontaine and X or J. Stewart Robertson arranged for

gold assays to be performed on their joint behalf on several

rock samples at various times as follows:

(a) On February 10, 1983 Pan-Continental Mining (Canada)

Ltd. performed 13 atomic absorption gold assays at

Be ardmore, Ont ar io.

(b) Later in February of 1983 Bill White Laboratories at

Swastika, Ontario, performed 3 fire assays for gold

content.

(c) On March 11, 1983 Lakefield Laboratories of Peterborough

performed 2 fire assays for gold content.

(d) On March 27, 1983 Bill White Laboratories at Swastika,

Ontario performed 31 further fire assays for gold content

(e) On April 5th, 1983 Bill White Laboratories at Swastika,

Ontario performed 5 further fire assays for gold content.

(f) On April 5th, 1983 Danny McCrae performed 20 atomic

absorption assays at the Pan-Continental assay office.

(g) On July lith, 1983 the Ontario Geological Survey of the

Ministry of Natural Resources performed 9 fire assays.

3. A11&3 Assays so performed were performed on samples taken from

claims TB604074 to 77 inclusive through arrangements made by

either Amede Lafontaine or J. Stewart Robertson in the hopes

of securing an option agreement in regard to said claims.

4. I am making this affidavit in the hopes of substantiating the

cost of the aforesaid assay work. In my experience the cost

of an average gold assay is about $10.00 and 83 assays would

represent a cost of approximately 1830.00 or 55.3 assessment

days.
