Dr. Swaroop is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopaedics. Her clinical and research focus is on the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular pediatric orthopaedic conditions as well as complex congenital/acquired hip and foot pathologies. She received her MD from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2002. She then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California. Since 2008, she has been on the faculty of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In addition to playing an active role in the education of residents and medical students, Dr. Swaroop has delivered numerous presentations and educational seminars at orthopaedic conferences around the country. She is active in research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters. She has been an AAOS Board Review course faculty member since 2011 and became a course director in 2013.

Anish R. Kadakia, MD

Dr. Kadakia is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, associate professor, and director of the foot and ankle fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kadakia completed his orthopaedic residency at Northwestern University and went on to complete a foot and ankle fellowship at the Foot and Ankle Institute at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Kadakia specializes in foot and ankle trauma, reconstruction, arthritis, and revisions. Dr. Kadakia has multiple publications in both orthopedic journals and book chapters and was Editor in Chief of the Journal of Orthopedic Surgery and Research. He has been heavily involved in education at both the resident and attending level, both nationally and internationally.
