Over a span of 19 years, Impression Communications, New Delhi, ( now known as “AB impression Pvt. Ltd.”) has distinguished itself in supporting the unique needs of organizations in the development sector. We travelled to Bangkok, Toronto, Mexico City and Washington DC (for constructing and managing the UNAIDS Joint Exhibition Booth at the International AIDS Conferences in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2012).

Printed and delivered advocacy material for there conference in Bahamas.

Printed and delivered the UNAIDS Annual Report OUTLOOK at the Geneva office and International AIDS Conference in Vienna, Austria.

CARAMASIA, Malaysia

For On location photography, design and development of their manual on human trafficking, we travelled to various sites at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and delivered the manual for launch at the International AIDS Conference in Barcelona, Spain.

For the Asia Pacific Knowledge Fair, Bangkok, Thailand, we designe and constructed the booth and managed the event for UNDP.

In March 2011, we also conducted a USD 200,000 worth Media Campaign for Plan India for their ‘Let Girls Be Born (LGBB)” Campaign to generate awareness on implementation of the PCPNDT Act and ensuring a gender balanced society in India . The assignment involved production and airing of 4 Radio Spots (30 sec), production and release of News Paper Ads, Social Messaging through SMS, Google Ads, designing and printing of Posters on PCPNDT Act. The campaign was designed and conducted by us in Delhi, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Mumbai.

1. Events Management and Booth Construction:We have a team of experts who can coordinate and manage any event, big or small, with much dedication and commitment. Some of the major booths constructed and events managed by us are as under:

• Design, construction and management of the UNAIDS Joint Exhibition Booth at the XIX International AIDS Conference, Washington DC, in July 2012.

• Design, construction and management of the UNAIDS Booth at the XVII International AIDS Conference in Mexico in August 2008.

• Between 17-19 January 2008, we managed the event for UNIFEM, India office on the ‘Sixth South Asia Regional Ministerial Conference- Commemorating Beijing”, conducted in Delhi.

• In October 2007, UNODC initiated a new program titled “UN GIFT” This “South Asia Regional Conference on Global Initiative to Fight Human Traffi cking” was held in Delhi between 10-11 October, 2007 and the event was managed by our company.

• Design, construction and management of the UNAIDS Booth at the XVI International AIDS Conference, Toronto in August 2006,

• Designed, constructed and managed the fi rst ever Asia Pacifi c Knowledge Fair organized by UNDP, Regional resource Centre, Bangkok in April 2005.

• In 2005, we were responsible for the management of Global Launch of the AIDS Epidemic Update Report by UNAIDS in New Delhi.

• In 2005, we managed the World AIDS Day event for UNAIDS India.

Managed the Zila Parishad Convention, December 14, 2005, New Delhi, in partnership with Parliamenary Forum on AIDS.

• Managed the North East Chief Ministers meeting on HIV/AIDS, November 18 & 19, 2005 in Guwahati, India.

• Design, construction and management of the UNAIDS Joint Exhibition Booth at the XV International AIDS Conference, Bangkok, in July 2004.

• Design, construction and management of the WHO 3 by 5 Booth at the XV International AIDS Conference, Bangkok, in July 2004.

• In November 2004, we managed a major fi ve day event- ‘National Students and Youth Parliament on HIV/AIDS’ 6-7 November, New Delhi, which was jointly conducted by UNAIDS, the Parliamentary Forum on HIV/AIDS in India and the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO). The Parliament was attended by more than 5000 student delegates from leading Colleges and Universities in India. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India and chaired by prominent ministers and members of the Indian Parliament, along with leading lights from the HIV/AIDS sector.

2. Advocacy Material:Production of various advocacy material for our esteemed clients has been a main focus area of our company. Our team of concept designers are well equipped to produce a wide range of advocacy material for an event and we supply these to countries abroad. These include designing and printing of brochures, posters, backdrops, T-shirts, caps, conference bags, CDs, folders, leaflets, flash drives, monograms, and Red Ribbons etc. Our professional designers are experts in developing design elements through use of software like Corel Draw, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator etc., as per the requirements of our esteemed clients.

With our professional tie up with worldwide courier service, we are equipped to deliver the products produced by our company, to any corner of the globe. To cite an example, we produced a report “Carpe Momento” for CARE International USA and distributed across more than 100 locations worldwide. We have supplied Small Metal Red Ribbons for the UN offices in Switzerland, Cape Verde, Tanzania and India.

3. Language Editing, Translation, Documentation, Designing, & Publication:With an understanding and insight of social development issues, we are experienced and equipped to produce documents and publications both regular and specifi c i.e., for events and conferences. We can edit, proofread, translate, conceptualize, design, print and deliver the publications at your doorsteps. 1999 onwards we have been handling major editing, content writing, designing and printing jobs for International NGOs, especially the United Nations. We are currently handling multifarious editing, translating, designing and publication jobs for UNAIDS (India and Geneva), CARE India, CARE International USA, World AIDS Campaign Netherlands, UNODC India, UN Women, IPAS, FHI, Futures Group International, Engender Health, International HIV/AIDS Alliance, PLAN India, IPPF SARO, UNDP India and others that range from annual reports, research reports, Best Practice series, books, journals, brochures and all kind of process documents.

4. Video Documentation, Audio Visual and Short Film Production:Video documentation of events and conferences is another specialized service that our company undertakes and conducts with much enthusiasm and commitment. All the sessions are aesthetically recorded and a complete documentation is provided to the client. At the same time, we can treat the documentations according to the pre approved script and can produce a 10-15 minutes short fi lm of the Conference. If required, we can also produce a 5 minutes AV on the same as well. Later on, these AV fi lms can also be posted on the client’s website.

Working in the social communication sector with a diff erence has been our key strength. From print to audio visual, the evolution has been very natural so as to provide the existing clients the best in this fi eld as well. We have done Short Films with a social message for our clients in the social development sector, especially

those working on the issue of HIV and AIDS, such as UNAIDS India and WHO Geneva. The team is now getting prepared and equipped to do any ‘live coverage’ not only in India but in other countries as well.

Apart from Short Films, we have also produced Audio Visuals based on images on Gender/Women Empowerment. Recently, in March 2011, we produced two Audio Visuals for CARE India for their “I Am Powerful” Campaign to celebrate 61 yrs. of CARE on the International Women’s day at Dilli Haat.

Recently, we are have produced an Audio Visual for IPPF, New Delhi. The AV is a showcase of IPPF activities in South Asia.

Currently, we are producing an AV for UN Women South Asia Regional Offi ce, New Delhi, on their project” Delivering for Women in South Asia” based on photo shoot in India, Bangladesh and Nepal. The research based photo shoot in the three countries along with a photo documentation publication is also done by us.

5. On Location Photography and Photo Documentation:This is another fi eld where we can off er you our specialized services. Our photographers conduct on location photography of an event or conference and the photos can be later used to develop a Photo Essay. These Photo Essays can be later posted on the client’s website. Designing and photography with a set theme gives a sense of completeness to any print media.

The idea started with the Project - “The forgotten Spaces” that we undertook for CARAMASIA (Malaysia), in the year 2002 which was a publication in seven volumes that also included on location photography & photo essays. The publication was launched at the International AIDS Conference in Barcelona.

As the job also involved dissemination of the publication to 26 diff erent countries, the project gave an impetus to my company into ‘Worldwide Courier Dissemination Service’. We have a major tie up with leading courier companies that gives us a platform to serve our Indian and overseas clients at competitive rates. This is a value added service that we off er to our clients in order to ensure direct dissemination of deliverables anywhere in the world, on behalf of our clients. We also ensure proper packaging for delivery of goods in any part of the world, since we have a business tie –up with international couriers.

We have being several such projects on photo shoot for various UN Bodies and international NGOs like WHO, Geneva, CARE India, UN Women and IPPF.

Recently, we successfully conducted on location photo shoot for IPPF SARO in Afghanistan & Nepal. We also successfully conducted on location photo shoot across India, Bangladesh and Nepal for UN Women on Gender Responsive Governance Program in the South Asia, which has been titled as ‘Delivering for Women in South Asia-Women empowerment, realization of a dream through images’. Based on the images and case studies conducted in the fi eld, we have also developed a photo publication. The fi nal draft is under review by the UN Women team.

6. Web Designing:Our latest addition in the services we off er is Web based designing. Since e-learning is catching up fast, we have prepared ourselves to meet this requirement for our clients.

We have redesigned the UNIFEM South Asia website into dynamic mode and recently in July 2012, we developed the website ( ‘CITI MICROENTERPRISE AWARDS’ ) on behalf of CITI Foundation and ACCESS Development Services, New Delhi.

The web based designing includes HTML format fi les (to be opened with internet explorer), SWF fi les, preparing bookmarks (PDF), creating hyperlinks, auto run styles, developing the front/home page with fl ash/Swissmax etc. We also work on software like Dream Weaver, Flash and Firework for Web designing.

Till date we have successfully completed many projects for our clients like UNODC, UNAIDS, FHI, UN Women, IPAS, CARE International, CARE India, just to name a few. Once we develop the CDs according to the clients requirement, we then produce them in bulk quantity for further distribution.

Social Research and Documentation: Our Company’s profi le would seem incomplete without any mention of our “Social Research” wing, perhaps one of the most important of the services that we off er to our clients from the development sector.
