he scenario of Indian Education has witnessed a vast change during the last two decades where globalization has played the key role. The opportunity of getting higher education has increased manifold. Privatization of education has thrown up much more option to the potential candidates.

Simultaneously the demand for technically sound manpower has also increased stupendously. In this scenario choosing up a right educational institute for a candidate passing intermediate (12th) standard is the toughest job the candidates as well as the parents face. The name and the fame of any institute are replicated by the facility and the infrastructure it is having. In this regard Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management (AIEM), Mogra, Hooghly, a Joint Venture of JIS group and Techno India is engaged in imparting quality education with special attention to each student. The college boasts of high calibre faculty with years of experience in their field. To cope with the technological revolution that has taken place during the last three decades AIEM is producing international standard young technocrats with undergraduate B Tech degrees. The workforce of AIEM is engaged in producing readymade manpower as per the need of the industry. The strong Training and Placement Cell of AIEM is working hard for the recruitment of the potential candidates, the result of which many of our alumnis are well placed in different national and multinational companies and many are in abroad for higher studies.

I strongly believe that the students aspiring to pursue B Tech Program will enjoy all excellent facilities of the institute to develop themselves as per the requirements of industries & research activities. I sincerely welcome B Tech aspirants for admission to AIEM, Mogra & hope that their four year stay in this institute will be productive & memorable.
