Abbots Hill FarmDating back to the mid-18th century and a working dairy farm until ten years ago, Abbots Hill Farm is Grade II listed and built of local stone with a slate roof. It originally had two ranges of attached outbuildings, some of which were thatched, with one range extending off each end of the house. The two ranges, incorporating a granary and barn, have been completely re-built and cleverly incorporated into the house, which has now been fully restored to a very high standard to create a wonderful family home with lovely countryside views from nearly every room. On the ground floor are four reception rooms, which include a cosy sitting room, a large dining room, which opens directly off the kitchen/breakfast room at one end and at the other to a fantastic living/cinema room, which is wired for digital projection with surround sound. Outbuildings, Garden & GroundsThe house is approached off a peaceful country lane via a sweeping, tree-lined gravelled drive to a large parking area in front of the house.
