Survey on regional disaster prevention for foreign residents in highly concentrated lving city conducted after the Great East Japan Earthquake

Prepare a disaster support system for foreign residents has became an important issue, since Japan is a country that suffers from natural disasters frequently. In this study, we reviewed the literature of Council of Local Authorities For International Relations and Recognized Local International Exchange Associations, to understand and classify the characteristic of current disaster support for foreign residents. Then we interviewed some groups of International Communications and Exchanges, to survey the actual situation on disaster support planning for foreigners, and to identify the challenges regarding this topic.
