Brief Description of Postgraduate Courses Taught: (Course Title – Code: Description) 1 General surgery residents rotate in the Orthopedic units during this period. The residents are trained in the
theoritical aspects of orthopedics and trauma, clinical examination, practical hands on experience in orthopedic operations etc. They are assessed and validated at the end of rotation.
2 This 3 months rotation takes the neurosurgery residents in to the basic management of Orthopedics and Trauma care. Tutorials are given regularly on the wards and in the operating rooms. They assist in the clinics and are on oncall duties.
3 This is an extensive 5 years orthopedic resident training program. The resident is trained in all aspects managemnet of orthopedic conditions and fractures.The residents are prepared for their annual and final examination
4 four weeks rotation in Orthopedics. During this rotation the residents are given maximum exposure in the clinics in day to day management of Orthopedic conditions.
